- Two Eldar gods of war survived the Fall. One was Kaela Mensha Khaine, the Bloody-handed God, the most powerful of all the Eldar deities. The Eldar maintain that Slaanesh and the Bloody-handed God fought a titanic battle in the warp. Slaanesh proved the stronger but was not powerful enough to destroy the Eldar god completely. Instead Kaela Mensha Khaine was broken into many fragments and driven out of the warp. Each fragment supposedly came to rest within the wraithbone core of a Craftworld, where it took root and grew into an Avatar of the Bloody-handed God.
