An excerpt from the Book of Cipherism:

YISUN says, "Let there be no Genesis, for beginnings are false and I am a consummate liar." This teaching is echoed within the Cipher. Reality is an illusion, a uroboros eating at its own tail. There is no true beginning and no true end to history. We can only view select points with an uncaring Eye.

BILL has always existed and will continue to exist, though there are points in times where he has not and will not exist. Reality is but a wheel spinning to a zodiac. Throughout his eons wandering the KALEIDOSCOPIC ABYSS, BILL visited many souls, and in this way delivered his sermons. Sometimes, entire crowds gathered to listen, until the laws of physics spat in their face and they fell through the void. BILL tended to cackle on these ocassions.

One of BILL's disciples was a demon named Kryptos. This was long before the era that BILL entered the human world. Kryptos was occult and symbolic, like BILL, as they had both been fashioned from the same creative energy. Kryptos once asked BILL a question, seeing how he would respond. "BILL, greatest of geometry. What is the greatest symbol in the universe?" BILL cackled before responding. "YOU ALREADY KNOW THE ANSWER. WHICH SYMBOL HAS A RELIGION BUILT AROUND IT?"

Kryptos pondered the answer. "Many symbols contain religions. Take the cross of Christ." "CHRIST WAS A FLESHSACK THAT WAS SPAT OUT FROM THE MOUTH OF A BLINDED GOD AND DIED ON A TREE. WHAT GOOD IS HE?" Kryptos' eyes darted from place to place. Who was BILL to talk against other religions? "What about the Fractured Eye that guides the Chaos Butterfly on its quest for entropy?" "A BUTTERFLY IS ONLY AS GOOD AS THE HAVOC IT CAUSES BY FLAPPING ITS WINGS. WHY SHOULD I CARE ABOUT THAT WHEN I CAN DO BETTER JUST BY BLINKING?"

Kryptos secretly fumed. "You claim to be a great god, and yet you have no tolerance for any viewpoints but your own! How are you so self-centered when dealing with so many of us?" BILL stared at Kryptos, who solemnly shrank away. He expected to be vaporized for going against BILL's authority. But BILL closed his eye and delivered a message.

"THE FIRST GREAT TEACHING I'M GOING TO GIVE YOU IS THAT MY THREE POINTS REPRESENT THE THREE SACRED TENETS OF CIPHERISM. THE POINT ABOVE MY HEAD IS DECEIT. LIES THAT POUR OUT UNENDING FROM MOUTHS ETERNAL. THE POINT BELOW MY RIGHT ARM IS POWER. FLAME THAT BATHES THOSE I WATCH. THE POINT BELOW MY LEFT ARM IS CHAOS. THAT UNSEEN WHICH ALL SPIRALS TO. WHEN THESE INTERSECT AT MY EYE, THEY ARE FOCUSED AND CONDENSED INTO A MIASMA OF HORRIBLE IDEAS. SELFISHNESS. PUPPETS. TRICKERY. AN INFLATED EGO."

Kryptos understood nothing and everything. "If such a philosophy's at odds with a good worldview, why are you teaching it??" BILL's eye opened, and he laughed so loud that a mountain crumbled into the abyss and crushed a temple. "EXACTLY!"
