"What?" Creighton was yelling, deflecting blaster bolts that were coming faster and faster.
"Yes, but what's your point?"
She gestured toward the cave tunnel that led to the exit. "Some of the Path are carrying explosives on their belts." She planted her feet.
"We're about to shake that unopened bottle."

A string of small explosions suddenly sounded. Smoke and fire billowed out from the entrance to the underground caves, along with the bodies of half a dozen Path members that flew out like wet rags. Children and adults screamed as other Path members began streaming out of the smoking hole.
Despite the rain, Char-Ryl-Roy clearly saw bright blue- and green-colored lightsabers within the melee. He wiped the moisture from his face with a sleeve and peered into the distance. The unmistakable face and beard of the human male Jedi and the young Kadas'sa'Nikto female at his side made Master Roy's eyes open wide.
"It's Creighton Sun! And Aida Forte! Well, that explains what I sensed. What in the stars are they doing here?" he said.
