  47. NCB Television - Public television network, lanuched on September 6, 1952. NCB Television provides a complete 24-hour network schedule of news, sports, entertainment and children's programming; in most cases, feeding the same programming at the same local times nationwide.
  48.
  49. The NCB's flagship newscast, NCB National, airs nightly at 10:00 p.m. local time and runs for 45 minutes - 22 minutes for the main news portion of the program, and 23 minutes for the analysis and documentary segment. The newscast is followed on major market stations by a half-hour late newscast. In addition to the mentioned late local newscasts, NCB stations in most markets fill early evenings with local news programs, generally from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., while most stations also air a two local newscast on weekend evenings (comprising a supper hour broadcast and a late evening newscast). Weekly newsmagazine "At Frontzone" is also a NCB mainstay, as are documentary series such as Docuzone.

  73. Eight is an terrestrial television network launched in 1961. It is Northclay's largest privately or commercially owned network, and has consistently been placed as country's top-rated network in total viewers and in key demographics since 2002.
  74.
  75. The network's programming consists mainly of hit American series, but it has also had success with locally-made shows. Eight also regularly produces and airs Northclayan-made television movies, often based on stories from news or history, under the banners Eight Signature Series or Eight Movie.
  76.
  77. News programming consists of the weekday current affairs show This Day, morning program Morning Live, locally-produced newscasts branded as Eight National News, and newsmagazines FYI and Hempstand 7, which interviews politicians and recaps political events during the week.
  78.
  79. NFTO-DT, VHF channel 9, is the flagship station of the Eight Television Network located in Frontporo. The station is owned by Eight Media. NFTO maintains studio facilities located at 9 Channel Nine Court in Magicnort (near the junction of Highway 401 and McRowan Road in the former city of Terenceborough), and its transmitter facilities are located atop the NCN Tower in downtown Frontporo.
  80.
  81. The station shares the Agincourt studio complex with Eight's headquarters, which includes studios for the network's news programming (Eight National News and the Eight NewsNET), along with most of Eight Media's specialty channels (the area surrounding the studio grounds was temporarily renamed "Wayne McAvall Way" throughout 2009 to honor the retiring reporter). Eight National News has in fact been based at NFTO's studios for most of its history, dating back to the days when the network was a cooperative (NFTO's parent company later acquired most of the other affiliates, eventually becoming the present-day Eight Media) from the station's establishment on January 1, 1961. NFTO is the largest Eight owned-and-operated station, in terms of market size, whose studio facilities are not located in its main city of service's downtown area.

  83. The station carries both Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy on weekdays, bumping This Day from 7pm to 11pm.

  99. NFFC carries the full Eight schedule, with some exceptions. Eight can't show any children's programming because it's the law in New Manaric to only broadcast shows of that type without commercials. Also, the station airs Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.

  144. ETV is a system of four television stations in the Eastern Columbia, affilated with Eight Network. Despite the name, it is not available on basic cable or analog in Atlantis even though that province is part of Atlantic Northclay. Atlantis has ANTV, no other Atlantic province has their own channel, although Newfoundland has much less population than Eastern Columbia. All four stations refer to themselves on air as Eight, not by their call letters. NJCB and NKCW simulcast NJCH for most of the day, but air separate commercials and local telethons. NKLT is a full repeater of NKCW. However, all four stations are separately licensed by the Northclayan Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission. Unlike most Eight Network stations which air the late news at 10:30pm, ETV runs the late news at 11pm. It also airs Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, both american top-rated game shows.

  188. ATV is a privately owned nationwide television network. ATV is believed to be short for Associated Telecasters, however, only the initials are used on-air. The name reflects ATV's roots as a cooperative network owned by its affiliates, though this era ended in 1992. Since becoming a national network in 1992, it has been available in most of Northclay.

  204.
  205. Citytv is a system of two television stations in Frontporo, Malbany, Wereham, Brentdon, Marrie, Poundshore, Sickendome and Braincover.
  206.
  207. Citytv is best known for its unconventional approach to news and local programming. With a lack of a news desk (anchors read the news standing up) and laid-back yet hard-hitting presentation, Citytv's CityPulse news has developed a large following, and other stations around the world have tried to imitate its format to varying degrees of success.
  208.
  209. Citytv also produces more local programs than any other television station in Northclay, such as Speaker's Corner, CityLine, Fashiontelevision and MediaTelevision.
  210.

  225. NCKP is a television station in Kevinpeak, Wangario
  226.
  227. NCKP began broadcasting in 1954 as a NCB affiliate. In 1961, NCKP disaffiliated from the NCB and became an independent station.
  228.
  229. WIC purchased NCKP in 1990, and in 1997 NCKP's signal expanded to cover all of Wangario. WIC then rebranded the station WanTV, representing the station's expanded coverage but also to match the naming pattern of its other stations (including ITV in Develand)
  230.
  231. Some cablesystems outside of Wangario carry NCKP as a "superstation". NCKP is still available throughout most of Wangario, however, it cannot broadcast to Hunter Bay, Manford Thirtysixborough, Croshawa or Winghill because of complaints made to local cablesystems by other local stations.

  304. NCEN-TV in Braincover is an independent television, broadcasting on channel 6 in Sickendome and Channel 11 in Braincover.
  305.
  306. NCEN was Warranghetta's first private television station, singing on the air as a NCB affilate on December 1, 1956. The station became a full-time Eight affilate on January 5, 1963. On September 1st 2001, NCEN became a full-time independent station, carrying same entertainment programming from NCKP.
  307. The station was sold to WIC in 1989.
  308.
  309. NCEN's news operation is well respected in the industry. Ever since the station decided to produce a one hour news bulletin in the late 1960s, a major part of the station's cash flow has gone into its news programming, and has garnered high ratings and major awards since then. The station's on-air news style was even used a inspiration for Ted Turner's CNN, as both use the newsroom as a backdrop during the broadcast.
  310.
  311. NCEN was very unfriendly towards Eight Network, as they believed that their Frontporo station, NFTO, produced nearly all of Northclayan Eight Network shows in the late 1960s and early 1970s. NCEN's main goal was to produce a nation-wide national news bulletin from its studios, but Frontporo-based Eight didn't like the idea.
  312. This lead to NCEN producing its own program for WIC's stations: "Northclay Tonight".
  313.
  314. NCEN's programming include Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.

  368. Eight Newsnet employs an 'enhanced screen', which reduces the actual video feed to a box and places a continuous stream of textual information on the rest of the screen.
