  1. >Sleep in the old shack was quiet, and between the warm cat girl and flannel blanket piled around you, quite warm. You slept heavily for a while, dreaming of bandits, adidas and Soviet Nuclear power plants. You ruled the land of Tulas and Izhmash with a well worn and rusted Chongqing...
  2. >But in an instant, you're yanked from your sleep to a yipping and barking of dogs. This found was familiar, but never this close. The coyotes were again on the war path.
  3. >You scramble for your shirt, pulling it on inside out. A stint as a volunteer fireman had left you with a habit of keeping your shoes in your pants legs, which you slip into when you notice it, and smell it.
  4. >The can of sausages, left out, had stunk up the shack, and likely drifted outside. If the bait and corpses of their comrades weren't filling enough...
  5. >You kneel and gently shake your rifle. She blinks awake with a start, and you press a finger to her lips. A wordless sniff and listen later, and she knows. Danger's close.
  6. >In an instant, she's wood and steel again. You scoop her up and start thumbing in rounds, grabbing the lantern on your way out the door.
  7. >In the dim light, you see one of the scrawny and dirty looking shithounds turn tail. In and instant, you pull her to your shoulder and fire.
  8. >You're vision is distorted from the massive flash and your ears ring. You've managed to hit your mark though, the coyote thrown several feet from where he was standing.
  9. >You notice small hints of movement deep in the dark, and you fire into the dark. You run the bolt a second time, before hopping off the deck, intent on chasing them off deep into the night.
  10. >The few you notice moving seem to be heading for a dry creek bed. With Fiftythree in one hand and the lantern in the other, you scramble down into it. You fire her one handed down the natural trench, hopping to scare the desire to hunt out of them, if not kill them. You abandon the lantern as you run the bolt again, giving chase into the night.
  11.
  12.
  13. >You slow from running in the dark to walking, panting as quietly as possible, not that the coyotes cared at this point.
  14. >Fiftythree returned to flesh and blood in your arms, knocking to your knees as the catgirl clings onto you.
  15. >"If you keep r-running me like that, you'll have to take me here."
  16. >You huff, ignoring the raifu as you catch you're breath. You sigh, standing with her still wrapped around you.
  17. >"No sex, only water and sleep..." You say, carrying her out of the riverbed, with the catgirl pouting.
  18. >You wiggle out, and start walking back towards camp, grabbing the lantern on your way (Gotta make Smokey proud). You walk back into the cabin, setting the lantern down, then Fiftythree, then yourself.
  19. >"... Well, I got a few more!" You grin, giving her a thumbs up.
  20. >"That you did." She said, leaning against you as you start chugging some bottles of water stored in the footlocker.
  21. >You rehydrate after your running of the 'yotes as sleep starts to nag at your mind again, but you know the rounds you put through Fiftythree have brought forth desires in her that a mere 'not now' will not subdue.
  22. >So, time to use waiting and teasing as your ally. You put an arm around her shoulders, pulling her in against you.
  23. >"So, tomorrow is gunna be another free day." You say, running your fingers through her hair.
  24. >Her cat ears wiggle a bit at your words. "Good, shall we hunt more of the coyotes?" She asks, snuggles into your side.
  25. >Yoi shake your head. "I doubt they'll be as bold as they have been. And besides, I've run... Nearly ten rounds of Bear through ya. Good stuff, but that stuff runs kinda dirty..."
  26. >You can feels her mind wonder to where cleaning leads; to cleaning rods, oil, and typically sex.
  27. >"So I'll do that tomorrow." You smirk, flopping back. She goes from aroused grin to frustrated frown in a matter of seconds.
  28. >"A-anon, no fair-!"
  29. >"So fair!" You grin, pulling her into a snuggle as you return the blankets back over you both. The isnt given much of a chance to protest as you pull her against your stomach, resting your chin in the top of her head. "Goodnight, Fifty~" You grin, letting your last words for the night tease her once again.
  30. >"Mmmr... G'night..." She sighs in defeat as you let sleep over take you once again.
