Mushoku Tensei LN Vol.1 Bonus: Oasis of Life

Life is a desert.

Man can only wander aimlessly and parch.
Meandering under the blazing sun, to slowly wither away.
Maybe this was how many had lost their lives.
Yet, there're oases in this desert.
In oasis, there's blest.
Indeed, man only live to search for that blest.

And I currently, is in midst of that oasis.
A particularly soft oasis.
One that changes shape at touch, giveth a soothing warmth.
And a fair aroma with a scent of happiness.
In it rises two mountains, twin peaks, and between them a valley of paradise.

I can never leave from this place.
I shall live here forever.
But despite my thought, a voice came from above.

"Hiya, Rudeus, really now.."

Rain down from the heavens was a voice, jolly but bashful.
The heaven that grant this oasis to me.
What a glorious heaven!
I will laud heaven for every praise and glories.
But in that moment!

"Ah, Lilia, may I trouble you with the boy?"

Heaven wants to force me away from this oasis!
It's a test.
Push me away from this warm, soft oasis, into that parching desert.

How could I accept?

Giving my all I hanged onto my oasis.
This oasis, my meaning of life.

Again, a test.
A whirlwind.
Finding myself powerless once more, I was blown from my oasis.
Returning again to the desert.
How this parching desert toys with me and leaves me empty.
I can't hold on, this time I definitely won't make it.  I really meant it.

But soft, what yondered beyond my grasp?
My oasis, I spied!
Who knew that the whirlwind that took me would return me to the first oasis.
The heavens had yet to abandon me!

"Really, why does the boy always..."

To be surrounded by this warm, soft oasis once more.
Yet, one day, I'll be taken from it.
Because heaven is strict, and the world a desert.
That's why for now, to my heart's content, I must enjoy this oasis.

"Hey, Lilia."
"What is it, Madam?"
"I been meaning to ask... does babies always knit our breasts like this?"
