Our Complete Angry Birds Epic Keys Guide reveals the location of all the hidden keys that are required to unlock the colored Pig Gates so that you can continue on your journey across Piggy Island. While these keys are unlocked during normal gameplay, it’s useful to know when to expect them and where they will lead you.

Yellow Key Southern Sea Level 3
Ahoy matey! Ye be finding yer first key in Angry Birds Epic upon rescuing the Blue Birds -- Jay, Jake, and Jim -- in Southern Sea Level 3. Once it be retrieved, you can open both of the Yellow Gates. Continuing the storyline will bring ye to Desert Island, just north of the swirling vortex. Or, if ye fancy a side quest, head back to Eastern Cobalt Plateaus levels 3 and 4.
Blue Key Star Reef Castle
Enough pirate talk. The second key in Angry Birds Epic is simultaneously earned while retrieving the third stolen egg in Star Reef Castle. Once it be retrieved, you can open all three Blue Gates. To continue the storyline, head to Bamboo Forest, near Great Cliffs. Or you can try the Banjo Bayou side quest back near Pirate Coast to unlock a dungeon. Or you can continue your previous side quest back in Eastern Cobalt Plateaus levels 5 and 6.
Red Key Chronicle Cave 1 Shaking Hall Level 10
While some may claim that this is the One Key, it is actually the third. But obtaining this key in the last level of Shaking Hall earns you access to some of the most difficult and exclusive levels in Angry Birds Epic.

Indeed the levels after retrieving the Red key are horribly difficult!!
After getting the blue key I have lost 3 birds. Red, Mage and Cannon are gone. Is this part of the game play?

I have completed star reef castle and it gave me a blue key, but I cannot use it. It’s just sat there in my inventory. I need technical support.
If you tap on any blue piggy gate, it should open now.
wait so where exactly is the CAVE for the red key? i dont see any cave entrance :/
You need to beat the Wizpig level to unlock the Cave.
Where is the wizpig level??
Eddy, Wizpig’s Castle is located atop Hoghead Mountain- advance through the story and you will come upon it
where is the red key, I hear it in the shaking hall level 10 but where is that??
Does anyone know how many stars it takes to get the highest reward? I’m at 574 and still don’t have it
It is an upcoming reward when you tap and hold it shows this message.
Go to the nest and tap the statue next to the piggy McCool totem and you then tap where it says star collection to see how many star you need to collect for the next free item.
Why doesn’t it show the stars for maelstrom?
First time i played the game it loaded..i played about 15 lvls..then signed in to rovio…. next day i opened the game,but it stopped on logging in..a message was at the bottom..failed to login. Please try again. Now i m unable to play the game..can anyone pls help me with this..plss..

Angry Birds Epic Guide | Complete Breakout of All Set Items for Each Bird - AngryBirdsNest.com
In this guide we list and explain the components and benefits of all Set Items in Angry Birds Epic. Learning which sets give which benefits can help you create a lineup of birds that is nearly impossible to beat!
Sets consist of two items: a weapon and a shield. These items are obtained from the Golden Pig Machine (check out guide here), either yours or a friends. Obtaining them is rare, but you are guaranteed to receive a Set Item when your roll the Golden Pig Machine with a full Rainbow Bar. In your inventory you can easily distinguish a Set Item from other items because it will be glowing and have three rainbow filled stars above it. Tap and hold it to see the two items required to complete the set.
Some members have requested that we list out every item obtainable in Epic. Unfortunately, there are far too many regular weapons and off-hand items to list them here. But there are only a few types of passive abilities for non-set items, namely:

  Critical Strike: 15% chance to deal 50% bonus damage
  Chain Attack: 30% chance to attack an additional random target with 20% attack power
  Bedtime: 5% chance to stun target for 1 turn
  Hocus Pokus: Heal by 10% of dealt damage
  Dispel: 20% chance to purge blessings on target

Off-Hand Items:

  Vigor: Take 5% less damage
  Might: Increase attack power by 5%
  Vitality: Increase max HP by 15%

Note that the strength of weapons and off-hand items depend on the user’s Level at the time of obtainment. That means that the best Level 2 item will be useless compared to a poor Level 20 item. So try to hold off on finding Set Items until you are high-ranked!
Red
Protector’s Aura Sword + Shield
Steel Force: 23% chance to deal 50% bonus damage
Steel Wall: Take 8% less damage
Protector’s Aura: All allies receive 10% less damage from attacks
Grand Slam Hammer + Banner
Titan’s Wrath: 8% chance to to stun target for 1 turn
Titangrip: Increase attack power by 8%
Grand Slam: The hammer’s stun effect lasts +1 turn
Dragon Breath Lance + Shield
Dragontooth: 45% chance to attack an additional random target with 50% attack power
Dragonscale: Take 8% less damage
Dragon Breath: 45% chance to deal 75% bonus damage to all targets
Primal Power Axe + Spear
Primal Axe: 23% chance to deal 50% bonus damage.
Primal Spear: Increases attack power by 8%
Primal Power: 60% chance to deal 45% bonus damage per negative effects. removes all negative effects from target.
Chuck
Twin Lightning Staff + Book
Living Lightning: 23% chance to deal 50% bonus damage
Lightning Tome: Increases maximum health by 23%
Twin Lightning: 60% chance to deal 50% bonus damage to all targets
Time Jump Wand + Orb
Chronos: Heal by 15% of dealt damage
Chronometer: Increases attack power by %8
Time Jump: 10% chance that Chuck receives a bonus turn after attacking
Reborn Broom + Orb
Phoenix Feather: 30% chance to remove helpful effects from attacked enemies
Phoenix Egg: Increase max health by 23%
Reborn: If Chuck is knocked out, he is instantly revived (once per battle)
Mana Shell Wand + Orb
Mana Mist: Heals by 15% of dealt damage
Mana Well: Increases attack power by 8%
Mana Shell: All allies have a 60% chance to be immune to negative effects.
Matilda
Perfect Balance Comb + Handbag
Yin: 30% chance to purge blessings on target
Yang: Take 8% less damage
Perfect Balance: The Rage Chili fills up 20% faster
Nightmare Harp + Doll
Doom: 8% chance to stun target for 1 turn
Demise: Increase attack power by 8%
Nightmare: Stunned pigs receive 200% damage at the beginning of their turn
Sweet! Frying Pan + Handbag
Honey Spoon: 23% chance to deal 50% bonus damage
Honey Jar: Take 8% less damage
Sweet!: All friendly healing effects are 25% stronger
Cleansing Light Scepter + Case
Heavenly Scepter: 23% chance to deal 50% bonus damage
Heavenly Case: Increases attack power by 8%
Cleansing Light: 35% chance to remove positive effects from target. Each removed effect heals all birds by 5% of their max. health.
Bomb
Scissors Punching Glove + Treasure Map
Rock: Heal by 15% of dealt damage
Paper: Take 8% less damage
Scissors: 33% chance to deal 100% bonus damage to all targets
Sugar Rush Bomb + Talisman
Candy Bomb: 45% chance to attack an additional random target with 20% attack power
Candy Chain: Increase attack power by 8%
Sugar Rush: 15% chance per attack to heal all birds for 100% of the dealt damage
Pickpocket Pistol + Talisman
Golden Gun: 23% chance to deal 50% bonus damage
Golden Bullet: Increase attack power by 8%
Pickpocket: 30% chance per attack to steal lots of Snoutlings
Blues
Artillery Strike Bow + Warhorn
Ballista: 23% chance to deal 50% bonus damage
Ballista Bolts: Increase attack power by 8%
Artillery Strike: If the attack is a critical strike, the normal damage bonus is increased by an additional 100%
*BEEP* ATTACK! Boomerang + Warhorn
Remote Controlled Robot: 45% chance to attack an additional random target with 20% attack power
Remote Control: Increase attack power by 8%
*BEEP* ATTACK!: 45% chance to deal 75% bonus damage to all targets
Save Me! Slingshot + Lucky Cards
THE Sling: 30% chance to purge blessings on target
Angry Bird Plushies: Increase max HP by 23%
Save Me!: If the Blues are knocked out, they are instantly revived (once per battle)
