  1. We were told to take all of our concerns to Yulie—someone none of us know at all, but were expected to explicitly trust just because Aery did.
  2.
  3. At least when I introduced my friends to the group, all I did was _ask_ if they could be given a shot. An attempt. I didn't drag new people into the designated safe areas until everyone got to meet them.
  4.
  5. And suddenly, there was a stranger in the middle of a chat meant for people living, planning to live, or there often enough to live all in one house. This stranger demanded to be told all of our issues we had with our most overdramatic and emotional member.
  6.
  7. No, that wasn't the beginning of our troubles, but that one sticks out the most ever since Yulie ragequit with the most indecypherable message I've ever mistakenly tried to read.
  8.
  9. I understand Aery was asked to step back, but I never requested it. For a time, I tried to keep contact. Tried to keep positive. I still have his shit in my house after he stayed here for a year, coasting by on goodwill alone because he made no efforts. He didn't even make the effort to pack or clean the room he stayed in. I dragged out the gallon jug of applejuice to save his reputation with mom, despite it being already low. I 'found' mom's missing travel mug and didn't tell her where it had been, again to try to preserve any good opinion she had of him.
  10.
  11. I cleaned up the left behind food before she could see it, too.
  12.
  13. Looking back, I just don't feel like Aery cared at all about what I went through to get him here. He doesn't even know all of the times I defended him when mom asked why he hadn't been applying or why he avoided her.
  14.
  15. Mom was right, though. The whole time, she was right. Aery didn't care. He didn't want to make any efforts but the minimum. He promised before he moved here that he would help with chores, and I let it slide when he refused to touch the vacuum unless my dad demanded it of him.
  16.
  17. I should have let my mom kick him out those times she wanted to. It would have saved me and everyone else in the long run. Mom saw through him long before I did.
  18.
  19. And she knows she'll never see a cent of rent money aside from the very token amount he gave from his tax return that she did for free.
  20.
  21. Anyway, I still have his shit in my house. I want it gone. If Aery wants it back, he needs to set up a date and time with me to come get it OR provide full costs for shipping.
  22.
  23. I also want a few things back from him:
  24. 1: The eighty dollars I spent to get him up here.
  25. 2: The feather charm on his necklace.
