Bye-Bye See You Tomorrow Summary (Mito 18-Mito 20)

Mito 18

Everyone's back on the roof. Reira and Seika are speechless. Mito's relieved and thinks they were able to feel how they felt about each other.
Reira's the first to apologize to Seika. Seika apologizes too. Then they thank each other and then Mito. They share a group hug. But the two girls feel bad for Mito, who had to contract to get them to make amends.
Mito says she's okay. She's not scared if she's with the two of them. She has the most fun when she's with them, since she loves them both.

Mito has something else to say: she also tried to connect with Kyuubey.

Trio 4

As soon as Mito got her powers, she didn't really know how to use them. So she tried to test them on Kyuubey, by grabbing hold of him and headbutting him. She tried to connect their hearts, but she didn't see anything in his heart. It was pitch black and she didn't see anything.
Mito says she was disappointed, since she did that not just to try her powers out, but to also because she was after something. After seeing how Reira and Seika ended up, Mito realized that witches and magical girls weren't the only cause of their conflict, but Kyuubey too. She thought there was something suspicious about him so she was trying to investigate.

And when she thought that, she thought that connecting with him might help her get them to make amends. So she tried to connect, and she did establish a connection of some sort since she could feel her magical energy being used, but everything was pitch black in Kyuubey's heart. At that point, Mito got frustrated and asked him a bunch of questions, which he did answer.

When she asked "what are soul gems?", she found out the truth.Mito continues, saying that she asked him about the witch in the housing complex too. Kyuubey didn't know exactly where it was. Seika wonders if he was telling the truth, since you can't trust him. Mito's not sure about that, but she says that Kyuubey told her that Reira would know. Reira denies this. She doesn't know where it is. But Mito says that according to Kyuubey, they should be able to find it if they follow the path Reira saw. Seika wonders if he's referring to when Reira was possessed by a witch. Mito's not sure. Anyway, Kyuubey didn't let her ask anything else. All he said was "when we meet again", and left.

Seika asks Reira about what Kyuubey said. Reira realizes he might be right. She asks Mito to connect with her again. Reira uses it to show her the series of images she's been seeing, memories of when she was possessed by the witch's kiss. Mito figures out that they're in the twelfth building, and that they're going up the stairs...somewhere.
Reira explains that the last room they saw was room 516. But Seika says that's impossible, since room 516 doesn't exist. Both girls insist that they saw it though. Seika sighs, admitting that since it's a witch, anything's possible.

>Reira: ...Seika...Mito...Let's defeat the witch...ourselves.
>Seika: Reira...

Reira says they can't let anymore people get manipulated and thrown for a loop like they did. They're going to put a stop to this cycle.
Mito says it has to be fate. They're the trio of destiny! Seika agrees.

The next day, they went to the fifth floor twelfth building searched for room 516. It's not on any map. Reira wonders how they should search for it. Seika suggests they start on the roof. Maybe there's a room up there.
Mito says there's something that's been bugging her for a while. But it might just be her misunderstanding.

Reira wonders whether they should go to the roof or investigate here.

B) Go with Mito's suggestion

Reira thinks they should first go to the roof. It might be a good idea to search there first and then come back. The other two girls agree.

They head to the roof and split up to investigate. They don't find anything resembling a barrier and they decide to look again. By the time they finish, it's dark out.
They decide to go back tomorrow to look again, starting from scratch again. This continues the day after and the day after that, failing to find the witch.


In the end, Reira wonders what were the images she and Mito saw.

Reira thinks they should first check the floor they're on. Though Mito's not sure, Seika agrees.

They check out the fifth floor, but nothing seems out of the ordinary. Mito does her best to remember what's bothering her. Reira cheers her on. Finally, Mito remembers. She points out that there's a small X drawn on the wall and wonders if it's just graffiti or something. Just as Reira suggests they check out the roof, Seika notices that there's more X marks. Mito agrees, and sees them increase.
Then the girls realize they've found the barrier.

Seika 20

When the girls come to, they find themselves back at the shopping district. Reira wonders if they were teleported. Seika thinks this might already be part of the barrier.
Seika explains to Mito that a barrier is where witches are.

Mito suggests that they try to return to the twelfth building. If they manage to make it back, then that means they might not be in a barrier anymore.
Something's bothering Reira though. Seika asks and Reira tells her that they fought familiars here. Reira suggests they stay and check things out here first.

Since things weren't normal back at the twelfth building, Seika thinks they should go back and check it out.

The girls go back to the twelfth building and manage to get there normally. They fail to find any more X marks.

Seika agrees that there's something about this place. Mito thinks that since both of her magical girl senpai think that there's something here, there must be something.

They decide to check out the shopping district. But first, Reira remembers seeing Seika with the suspicious person. She asks where Seika and the man went. Seika retraces her steps from that day. Just as she's about to turn the corner near the dagashi shop, she sees another X mark. Mito wonders if they're going to get teleported again.

Seika doesn't think so. There's something different about it, and she seems to recognize something about it. Then she tells them both to be careful. Suddenly, the familiar appears. Everyone transforms. Seika wonders if this was another trap.

Mito 19

They defeat the familiar. Seika says this is the first time she's defeated them this easily. Reira agrees. She felt like there was no way they could lose. Seika compares it to that "our hearts are one" feeling that's in coming-of-age-drama. It's a weird comparison, but Reira agrees.
Mito notices that the X marks have increased again. Just like before, they're sent somewhere else. To the roof!
They're not sure which roof it is. They wonder where they should start looking. Reira suggests the water tower, since it stands out.

Something's bothering Seika. Reira asks her about it. Seika explains that she saw the man possessed by the witch in the shopping district. And then they ended up on the roof. It reminds her of what happened to Reira that one day. Maybe that's why the outside boundaries of the roof bothers her.

Mito agrees with Reira. The girls decide to start by checking out the water tower.

The girls search the water tower and find a large X mark. They're taken back to the 12th building and they try to find more X marks.

But all the X marks have disappeared...

Mito wonders if they've made a mistake.

Mito suggests that they go with Seika's idea and tells Reira that if she's not comfortable, they can look by themselves. Reira says she's fine, so they should all look together.

Seika asks if Reira's okay. Reira says that she does remember it a little, but her memories are still unclear, so she's okay. Mito realizes they're on the roof of the twelfth building, since there's an 11 written on the other building. Which means the park should be right beneath them...

Suddenly, Mito tells them both to look below. They all look down and see a bunch of large x marks on the ground. They're all dragged in.
