Amazon is based on being one of the most customer-service oriented companies. Their primary goal is to have customers in mind, and to accomplish this, they place all their works on the customer service position 2 days every 2 years. Amazon not only focuses on given a great customer service, they also focus on developing and researching new products. With their Amazon Basic series of products, they cover all necessary electronic items with affordable prices that meet the consumer needs. Although amazon started as a bookstore, it has expanded its business to cover electronics and recently they have added Amazon Whole Foods. The way amazon adapts to new technologies, trends and markets is the key to their success. Although they have been successful, the way they treat their workers could improve. Compared to other companies of its size, such as Google, amazon and Microsoft; Amazon does not seems to provide the same amount of amenities to its employees. Workers at amazon are required to work overtime hours, and under a lot of pressure. Due to this, many employees tend to sacrifice their own time in order to meet deadlines. Furthermore, the opportunities and chances to grow are next to none. On the other hand, the company itself also supports good causes, such as donations to the American childhood cancer organization, and their Kindle Reading Fund program. This is a great way to get the approval of many consumers that otherwise would not buy from them. Its current CEO, Jeff Bezos, have been another main key for amazon’s success. Bezos obsess with the customers and his competitiveness have driven the company to where it is today. As a result of all this factors, amazon have been able to grow over the years and have a positive financial results, being valued at 460$ billion dollars on May 2017
