  1. A more detailed view on all of the rules (last updated on April 23rd, 2017)
  2.
  3. 1. Don't be a dick.
  4. This is the most important rule. CC works on civil behaviour. You can have heated arguments, you can make jokes upon eachother (as long as everyone is okay with it), but don't be a dick. No flaming? No trolling? No baiting? You get the idea.
  5.
  6. 2. This is not a hugbox.
  7. CC would not work at all if it were not for this. If you post your art in here, you should expect to receive constructive criticism, even if it may seem a little rough at times. Similarly, please, /PLEASE/ try to give constructive criticism to other people as well.
  8.
  9. 3. Leave personal grudges at the door.
  10. Some of you people may know eachother from before CC. That's great! Some of you may have some drama between you. What we ask, however, is that you do not bring this drama to CC. You will have to be mature, leave grudges behind, and play nice with eachother. If you're not okay with this, I'm afraid you'll have to leave.
  11.
  12. 4. This isn't a blog.
  13. We're not going to stop you from telling people about your day. Maybe you've had some interesting things happen. Most of us like hearing about it. Don't, however, try for compliments and attention.
  14.
  15. 5. Use your words - articulate your opinions, make complete discussion.
  16. It's hard to carry a conversation when all the other party ever responds with is "ok" or ":P". Try to use your entire capacity for communication, if possible. It makes for interesting discussion.
  17.
  18. 6. It's fine to be comedic, but don't shitpost.
  19. Remember, context is key. It's fine to meme it up every once in a while with those emojis, reaction pictures, jokes, and even banter. But keep it related to discussion at hand. Coming in with out-of-context images and jokes are considered shitposting, especially if it's in poor taste and/or disrupting an ongoing conversation. Keep shitposting in #oify, and remember: Context is key.
  20.
  21. 7. Follow the purposes of each channel, as stated in their topics.
  22. This is important, and you may even see one of the mods drop in sometimes to steer conversations towards another channel. Respect them, and if you don't understand exactly what a channel is for, check out the FAQ.
  23.
  24. 8. Don't be afraid to call us.
  25. The Green Members and the Head Member are there to take care of the chat and help with everything, feel free to @ them seperately or @Moderators / @Head Member them. They'll take care of you when they're available. Yes, that is the exact same thing as in the condensed rules.
  26.
  27. 9. Any creative content is allowed and encouraged.
  28. Do you draw, make music, sculpt statues, dance, make videos, 3d model, write stories, program games, or just cook a really mean ramen noodles? Share it with us! Don't be shy. Remember, though, that everything you post can and will be subjected to rule 2.
  29.
  30. 10. You better have read these rules.
  31. Using "oh, I didn't actually read them, I just assumed they were similar to every other ruleset" as an excuse will only prove that you don't care. These rules are mandatory, and everyone has to read them, and respect them. Moreover, it's a good idea to check for any changes from time to time.
  32.
  33. 11. LadySevacre's got the final statement in every situation.
  34. She is your god-queen. The founder of the server is the ultimate authority here. Respect her word.
  35.
  36. It's worth mentioning that these rules are flexible, and so is the punishment. We can understand mistakes, and the Restricted Members role exists to help you understand these mistakes and resolve them. Don't go overboard, though.
