GoldenGear Rules

1. Unfair Advantages
This includes dupes, abuse of glitches and exploits, hacked clients or the use of unapproved mods/texturepacks. Approved are:
- Optifine
- Too many items
- Texturepacks that don't make opaque blocks appear clear
- Shaders
- Capes
- Better animations
- Better Sprint
- InGame info
- bspkr's Armor and Statues effect HUDS

Penalties:
Ban. If you know/find out about a bug/dupe/glitch that is not fixed yet, tell a Staff in private message. If none is online at the time you can always /mail send CatRabbit499_ <text>.

2. Chat and Language
No excessive caps or swearing, disrespecting or harassing of any players, absolutely no racism, homophobia or sexism, advertising or lying to Staff. Other languages than english are prohibited in the main chat; use /msg <player> <text> if you use other languages. Do not ask for free items or ranks. No threatening or blackmailing towards any players or the server itself. Do not act like 'mini-mods' when Staff is online.

Penalties:
2 warnings at maximum then mute at Staff's disgretion, Advertising or extremely foul language may result in a (temp)ban. Lying to a Staff about a player duping/griefing/... will result in the punishment for the deed the player was falsely accused of.

3. Lag, Crashes and Corruption
Purposely caused lag and/or corruption and crashes. Absolutely no Galacticraft Spacestations (they crash the server multiple times in a row).

Penalties:
Removal of said setup + jail at Staff's disgretion. Causing corruption or crashing the server on purpose will result in a (temp)ban.

4. AFK-Machines and Chunkloading
Avoiding afk-kick in any way or loading chunks with something different than the player's presence without CatRabbit499_'s written permission. Items lost to ClearLag will not get refunded, since there is a 1-minute warning. Leaving quarries will reset the chunk, so make sure to remove it before leaving it; Lost items will not get refunded.

Penalties:
AFK-Machines: Removal of said setup and ar time taken away. If caught multiple times the player will get (temp)banned.
Chunkloading: 1st: Loaded chunk will get reset; 2nd: Tempban; 3rd: Ban + Base wipe.

5. Griefing, Raiding and Stealing
Prohibited on claimed and unclaimed land. This includes trust-griefing and overclaiming unclaimed land obviously owned by another player.

Penalties:
Return of stolen items + jail/(temp)ban at Staff's disgretion.

6. Abuse of Permissions
Such as reading out loud Staff's private messages, using /nick to impersonate or blank names. No red (&c &4) in your names, unless you are a Mod or Admin.

Penalties:
Removal of the permission and no refund.

7. Other
If you want to sell an infinite battery to a player, the minimum price is $60.000. 'Not knowing about (one) rule(s)' is no excuse for breaking them, and you will still get punished. We highly recommend to use our Teamspeak instead of Skype when talking to strangers, hackers have easy acces to your IP with Skype and we will not take any responsibility for any harm caused to you by that.

Staff decisions are final! If you disagree or feel treated unfair, talk to another Staff in PRIVATE message. Appeals not made within 2 weeks after the penalty will get ignored and denied.
This are general rules and apply to every world. Some worlds and areas, like the market or Skyblock, have additional rules that apply to our general ones. You will get notified if you enter such worlds/areas.
