  24. Before I mention either of those let me deal with the "disinformation campaign" aspect. On YouTube there are a number of channels that are dedicated to the "flat Earth". They are examining events and ideas through the filter/lens of the "flat Earth". One significant problem with the flat Earth is the "ISS" in that you cannot have an "ISS" and the Earth also being flat (you could - but I'll keep this brief).

There are right reasons to doubt the "ISS" and there are wrong reasons. *Anyone who peddles wrong reasons is participating in disinformation.* I don't care if the person doing it is respected, well-liked, charming or whatever. If a person is wittingly or unwittingly disseminating disinformation then it must not be ignored and it must be called out. Those who post videos have a responsibility to not f_kc with their audience. *No one seems to be calling people out in this way and so I am.* By doing this I am not winning any friends nor earning any praise. I am making enemies every day. *This process is making it very clear to me who is my ally, who prizes the truth and who is here to squander their time on cheap entertainment.*

  40. When a number of channels are disseminating disinformation in a seemingly cooperative manner - then it can be characterised as a "campaign". Thus - when many channels simultaneously promote the idea that the "blue grid" seen with alleged "astronaut" "Tim Peake" is "100% proof of green screen" then that is evidence of a flat Earth disinformation campaign. After all - only the flat Earth channels have been promoting that absurd "observation". That is just one example - there are others.

  56. I assert that this is damage control FOR the "ISS" because one of the purposes for disinformation is to later get debunked. This causes those who are vulnerable to believing disinformation to potentially experience a "belief reversal". And so a person who entertains the idea of a flat Earth (and knows nothing about the "ISS") learns about the "ISS" through the context of "flat Earth" and for a little while joins in on rejecting/trashing it. Because their focus is on the flat Earth the "ISS" is a side/smaller issue and it is easy to embrace one of the many ways to incorrectly dismiss it. Such as thinking of the "ISS" as "CGI", "green screen", "wires" and so forth. But when each of these claims become later "debunked" - the victim of the disinformation is at risk of believing there *is* a real and manned "ISS" because - _after all_ - none of the "many reasons" against it stood up to scrutiny.

As far as I know I am the only person who is rationally doubting the "ISS" for the *right reasons.* That means admitting that there COULD BE an "ISS" but that what we need to see remains absent. Given that the "ISS" has been around for over 15 years *we have a reasonable expectation of having seen what we need to see to justify a belief in it.* That is to say: ten minutes of "ISS" footage that upon scrutiny remains free from glaring glitches, clever cuts, sneaky edits and misdirecting pans.

The fact such footage does not exist is *staggering.* Out of hundreds to thousands of purported "ISS" videos they all contain glitches, cuts, edits and pans. *And this is what proves the lie system because a core strategy is to withhold what is called "sufficient proof".* Sufficient proof is that which necessarily proves an event or claim to be true and real. As I say - to prove a permanent zero gravity environment would requires - _for example_ - ten minutes of footage free from the mentioned problems.

  88. Anyone who believes there is an "ISS" has founded and formed their belief on trust and accepting (or mistaking) proof's appearances for proof. They do not have a "justified belief" (one that results from seeing sufficient proof) - they have instead what I call a "shadow belief". A shadow belief can be about true things - as it happens many of our beliefs are "shadow beliefs" - but a person's belief about the "ISS" *is only a shadow belief* when it should be a justified belief. (The fact it remains a shadow belief and not ever a justified belief should alert intelligent people to a serious problem.)

  96. Many people have linked me to various "ISS" tours and said "here is an hour of zero gravity - no cuts". I have to wonder whether they have even watched the videos. Each "ISS" tour that they refer me to is filled with either cuts or pans (if the footage is being faked then a pan is the equivalent of a cut). Those people - if honest - have accepted/mistaken proof's appearances for proof.

  104. I have looked into the "ISS" probably closer than anyone else on YouTube. *There is no "CGI". There are no "wires". There are no "harnesses". There is no one "hanging upside down".* These are all flawed ideas. I explored these and many more in 2015 when I first heard about the "ISS" being fake. At that time I could not believe it was possible! But when I looked at the footage I was stunned by the number of glitches, cuts, edits and pans. I looked for the longest and most convincing clips - and that's when everything fell into place. (I understand the importance and value of the "ISS" - I didn't before looking into it - but now I do.) Back then I also accepted there were "fabricated events" (and I still do). However - I now realise that whether an event is real OR fake - *we are never shown "sufficient proof".* We cannot actually know. Our beliefs are shadow beliefs.

At an early age we formed the belief it was round but it was based on accepting proof's appearances in place of actual proof. What this did was set us up to accepting other things in the same way. This opened us up to lies. The shape of the Earth is a core belief we all have - for it to be founded and formed on proof's appearances rather than actual proof is incredibly significant. Each person who doesn't realise this is what happened is vulnerable to believing more and more things on proof's appearances.

That is to say - if the footage is being faked then it would be faked in a glitch-free way.

In a lie system only stupid, unobservant, careless and the mentally ill can actually believe events and claims as reported and shown on their television.

  152. Whether the Earth is flat or round *none of us can justify a belief in it.* It remains a shadow belief. Sufficient proof for the Earth's shape requires being far enough away to see the entirety of the Earth's shape or having a camera in our place that can take a photo that is distinguishable from CGI. Because we are in a lie system we are forced to trust the testimony of "astronauts" and/or forced to accept images that are indistinguishable from CGI (i.e., "proof's appearances" instead of proof).

Because this is the way things are done - it is possible to doubt the claim of a round Earth. *But that does not mean the Earth is flat.* The lie system constantly encourages us to form a belief about an event - since we don't see sufficient proof - our belief is really an emotional choice. We choose what we WANT to be true. A person can no more assert the Earth is flat than round (that is to say - *justify such a belief*). And when spherical models can accurately tell us precise future positions of the Sun, Moon, Planets and Stars then we must not dismiss the round Earth idea. When there is a flat Earth equivalent that gives equal or better future positions - only then will the round model be delivered a blow. But until you (or someone who can be trusted) is far enough away (or sends a camera far enough away) no one can justify their belief in the Earth's shape.
