[02:42] Rolled the shoulder that Denier had grabbed him by, or the collar of his coat, it felt sore from that tyrium. What a madman wearing that stuff, idly Syracuse wondered if that's why he was in a bad mood.

He'd reach back and pull out his Spell-Ax, hefting the double bearded brute of a weapon up to his side. Flashing a toothy grin to Mazatle he'd crouch into a battle stance. After a handful of seconds he'd rush forward in a wave of cosmic radiation, hurtling across the plain like a comet. Axe swung mightily mid-charge.

[02:43] Mazatl was fired up, especially since older teens were prone to shit talking him.

He hated that, and it usually ended in him punching them in their mouths, or flinging them across rooftops- But face shots weren't allowed, meaning he'd have to be cautious about this, yet still do enough to beat on him. He didn't care how strong the Neries was, nor did he even know what the fuck a Neries was.

But considering that this guy tried to interfere in his business, he was pissed.

His own battle stance was assumed, and he displayed no fancy aura, seemingly prepared to use his overall force and skill to help him out during the fight.

[02:56] Well, in short, it was one-sided from the first hit.

Mazatl's proficiency with earth magic, combined with his use of cosmic magic, proved to be too much for the neries, overwhelming him with powerful blows despite the times he was rooted to the ground and bathed in flames from Syracuse's axe.

However, it wasn't enough to hold him, and he tore free, taking chunks of the ground with him, and even going as far as to break them over the top of the other boy's head, or kick him in the chest with them. Steel clashed with steel, and magics were propelled across the arena, exploding upon impact, kicking up large plumes of dust as the two fought on.

But alas, Syracuse was fallen by Mazatl, who decided to thrust a hand upwards, shifting the ground beneath the Neries' feet and knocking him up a few meters into the air. He pursued him, jumping towards him and reeling his fist back, shrouding it in an explosive mix of cosmic and earth magic- And in a single blow, he slammed the other boy down into the ground, kicking up a massive plume of dust and debris, and using his body to make a small fissure in the ground.

Upon landing, Mazatl spun his blade and sheathed it, glaring towards the crowd as if asking 'Who's next?'.

Adrenaline and testosterone got the best of him, especially at the age he was right now- So it couldn't really be helped since he didn't really have parents to reel him in when he got out of control.

[03:01] Simply layed in the crater he'd found himself in. Man, he wasn't the best at this fighting business it'd seem. Leaning up he'd rub the back of his head, damn that'd hurt. His hand came back a bit sticky, with a grunt he'd wipe it upon his coat.

Standing back up from the crater he'd look over at Mazatl challenging the crowd? He'd crack a grin, now that's the spirit. Nothing like moving from one fight to the next. He'd get out of the crater at that point, picking his ax up along the way and slinging it across his back.

There wasn't a lot of need for conversation so he'd hook his thumbs in his belt. Simply walking north back to Dawn, whistling a soft song along the way. Perhaps he'd have to ask for some fighting lessons when he got there.
