  1. Blackburn was about on par with Andurin in terms of wealth, but it made the stay at the inn cheap and the people didn't ask many questions. It was a small town on the southern edge of Tor, and it led into the mountain pass that, according to local rumor, should lead to the lost caverns.
  2.
  3. "How can a map lead us to caverns that are lost?" Mused Koth.
  4.
  5. "Well, the entrance to Silas' tomb isn't lost, just the caverns below it were considered lost to history." Grimm lay in bed. The two were sharing a room, while Noa and Tanaka rested in the room across the hall.
  6.
  7. "Well, at least we know how to get there." The Ink Master wiped his face with his sleeve as he put the large wooden spoon down into the now empty soup bowl. The stew had been refreshing. Anything might be considered refreshing after nothing but field rations for a week.
  8.
  9. The trip into Tor had been somewhat uneventful. A group of would be bandits had approached the group only to be routed almost instantly by a hail of eldritch blasts. Besides that, safe travels.
  10.
  11. "Well, I'm going to get some rest. The rumors from around the area say everyone who has ventured into the caverns and returned did so empty handed. Most didn't return. And if that wasn't enough, I'm sure the pass to the area will be plenty dangerous."
  12.
  13. "I'll join you" Grimm blew out the candle beside his bed. Koth thought to himself how its possible Grimm eats and and blows with no visible mouth, but thought there were some things probably best left to mystery.
