My dad was driving out by the Malls to go get his card he left in town and he starts having this asshole trailing him in a big white Truck and just motioning for him to pull over and blaring on the horn and driving up his ass aggressively. Dad doesn’t want to pull over just on the street so he pulls into the parking lot of the local Mall and stops. When he stops the Truck rear-ends him (no damage) and the guy hops out and starts walking over to dad’s driver side door. He’s just screaming and shouting, calling my dad a F*ggot and a Queer and telling him to get out of the car. When Dad doesn’t immediately hop out, the guy starts punching Dad’s window and calling him a b!tch and screaming and causing a scene. People start filming on the sidewalk in front of the mall.

Dad kind of puts his hands up and shouts ‘OKAY!’ because he doesn’t want this guy breaking his window, and the guy stops punching. Dad opens his door a bit and before the guy can grab it, he boots the door open and sends the guy staggering back from the hit. He gets out, and says to the guy that he needed to calm right down and they could have a conversation about this. The guy just starts shouting and swearing again, his face is beat red and he’s sweating bullets.

He starts telling my Dad that he cut him off in traffic, and when my Dad says he didn’t think that happened the dude shoves Dad’s shoulder really hard. Dad just tells him to not get physical, that they can talk about this, and the guy just keeps throwing a b!tchfit and throws a punch.

Dad puts his hands up and like pulls the outside of the guy’s arm in the direction he was punching and the guy goes falling/spinning to the ground. Dad then asks if anybody’s called the cops yet and someone out there had called the cops yet, to which someone says ‘yeah theyre on their way’

Angy b!tch gets up and goes to try and kick Dad and dad just kid of kicks/pushes the guy’s leg out of the way from the inside and the guy fvcking falls forward again but doesnt’ go all the way down. He then grabs Dad’s suspenders through his shirt and the front of Dad’s pants to try and grapple with him while telling him to stop being such a b!tch and to fight like a real man and all that bullshit. Now, this close, Dad can just SMELL the booze on this guy, and he reaches across himself and grabs the guy’s pinky that was on his waistband and yanks back super hard and walks the drunk guy backwards towards his Truck.

The guy is still just screaming and throwing out insults, and Dad tells him it’s time to stop because he could REALLY hurt him right now and he doesn’t want to do that. Guy tells him he’s a fvcking moron and a gay piece of shit and the cops pull into the parking lot. They spill out of their cars and start commanding the two to step at least 10-ft away from each other, so Dad lets go and starts stepping back but the guy goes for him again.

Dad just reaches out and grabs the top of the guy’s head with his hand (dad has like SUPER LONG ARMS and huge hands and he’s 6’1) and the Cops start shouting to stop IMMEDIATELY or else. Dad just lets the guy go and he was struggling so hard that he faceplants into the cement and Dad immediately puts his hands up behind his head.

One of the fvcking cops had a TAZER out, but Dad’s grabbed and put into the back of a police cruiser in handcuffs almost immediately after putting his hands up, and the other guy’s cuffed and led back to his truck and made to stand against it bc he’s fighting and shouting and trying to tell the Cops that Dad assaulted HIM and all that bullshit. Starts shouting about how he’s having a bad day because he just got fired, and all that bullshit.

Dad’s sitting in the back of the Police Cruiser while the Police are taking statements from the bystanders with footage, and they do like this cloud-sharing airdrop thing and are reviewing the footage on their police computer in the front seat while dad waits.

Eventually, after like 18 mins, they’ve reviewed all of the footage and a Police Officer my dad knows comes to the side of the car and tells him he’s being let go, he’s free to leave the cruiser whenever he wants with no charges. He’s asked if he wants to press any, Dad says no he’s pretty sure the guy’s just impaired and he’s told that the guy blew 4 above the 0.8 limit of when you’re legally DUI. They examine where the car was hit, and Dad was cleared to go and he just got in his car and drove around the side of the mall, parked, and then was just shaking like a leaf for about 40 mins before he could calm down.
