  53. In the computer world of the Grid, a young program joins Tron's fight against their world's tyranny.

Beck is trained by Tron to become a great warrior, teaching him fighting skills and mentoring him as he becomes a powerful leader. Beck's destiny is to lead a revolution to stop the reign of Clu 2 and his henchman General Tesler, and to lead his home and friends to freedom.
  55. Trying to use the same premise in the original Tron just doesn&#39;t work. When the first Tron movie was released, the general population were not as familiar with computers as they are today, so I watched the movie pretending to believe the &quot;master program&quot;, etc.<br/><br/>Now, we all know &quot;programs&quot; do not look like people; they don&#39;t think; they don&#39;t fight, they don&#39;t have emotions. Programs do whatever the programmers made them do; no more and no less.<br/><br/>I tried to watch the movie. But after ten minutes, I just couldn&#39;t make believe programs are people anymore. If the movie find another way to call these people other than &quot;programs&quot; it may be more acceptable.<br/><br/>If you are not familiar with computers, this movie may work better for you. For me, every time they call each other a &quot;program&quot;, I cringe.<br/><br/>Needless to say, I didn&#39;t finish watching this movie.

This is an amazing show, in fact it seems like each episode outdoes the last in terms of dramatic tension, character development, action and just the sheer beauty of the show (and once you get used to the unusual character designs man is it good looking. Also unsurprisingly considering the outstanding cast the voice acting is beyond good too, all in all my only complaint about this show is that there is so much going on and so many plots that have be intrigued I don&#39;t see how they&#39;ll be resolved in just the couple of episodes left in season 1 (at this point season 2 hasn&#39;t been confirmed).<br/><br/>Also you have to love this show just for the fact that Disney has done their best to push this into the deepest, darkest corner possible to kill it off (its on at 12am on a Monday... is there a worse possible timeslot they had open?)and it just gets better and better. So yea, I&#39;m telling you this show is the Rudy of animation right now.
