about me

i'm patrick - b. 1999 - always been really into music, the focus of my life, been playing piano since age 6 and writing music since i was 12 - with music i tend to gravitate towards stuff that has either A. interesting harmony or B. persuasive rhythm. i was raised on stuff like the beatles, elton john, simon and garfunkel, and have slowly started to branch out my taste and explore any type of music that piques my interest. studying classical and jazz music in high school definitely got me on a good track for taking the art of listening more seriously and willingly taking on a responsibility to become more knowledgable about all fields of music, something i am always attempting - i am also fond of literature (love camus and vonnegut), film, NBA, memes, fashion - studying music performance/composition and english as an undergraduate student 2017-2021 - love the community on here, appreciate any outreach or recs
