— BACKGROUND :
	growing up, injeong didn't have much to complain about. despite the fact that soon after he was born his mother ended up leaving his father, his family was always kind and gentle. they only stayed in russia for about 3 years before moving to his father's hometown of seoul, south korea. being that he'd only learned a basic amount of korea, injeong struggled a bit with the language and got confused a lot but his father did his best to teach him what he needed to know in addition to his school teaching. even after he was pretty much fluent in korean around 6 or 7, he still felt more comfort in russian because it made him feel like it was his family's secret language. he was often bullied in school for not being fully korean and for taking a bit longer to catch onto the things they were taught. despite knowing how dumb it made him look, he would always respond to the torment with a smile and tell a joke that his father used a lot but was extremely stupid, instead of starting conflict. as he got older, it only got a worse for him. he became too passive and eager to please everyone that he ended up taking the fall for every one of his 'friends' whenever they did something. it wasn't that he was dumb, he was actually pretty smart when it came to people but he would rather to used to help than to let them get into trouble.

	when he was around 13, he became interested in dance after his father took him to see the ballet which was one of his favorite things. he loved the way that they could tell a story or express their emotions through dance, finding it beautiful and wanting to be able to do the same thing. he begged his father to enroll him in dance classes, even if his family's financial situation wasn't the best. at 15 he got his wish and was able to learn all different dancing styles/types while also being able to relieve the stress of school and be able to be himself. he wasn't really in singing or rapping but he was always complimented for having a nice, soothing voice but never thinking much of it. even though he loved it so much, he ended up dropping dance when he was 16 because of his father not being able to pay for his classes and needing to get a part-time job to help with bills. he put his voice and dance to good use doing street shows sometimes in order to get some more money on days he didn't get paid or on his days off. while doing so, his skills continued to improve. while performing one day, he ended up getting scouted by Divine Entertainment but he at first declined politely, not wanting to leave his father or have to take on that much responsibility but his father pushed him to do what his heart wanted him to do. he ultimately decided to become a trainee in hopes of debuting and helping his father with his financial situation. as a trainee, he was everyone's stepping stool. he was used a lot and took the fall for everyone but never complained about it. he would also just be his kind and motherly self without upsetting anyone.


— PERSONALITY :
	injeong is the very definition of a 'cool mom'. he spends about 45% of his time fussing over everyone else, scolding them for doing something stupid or just asking them if they're ok over and over again. he knows he's a bit annoying with his nagging and that the other members probably hate how much he babies them despite not being the oldest but he can't really help it. it's in his blood to be such a worry-wort and always feel like he needs to protect them all from everything. he's the type of mom that gets excited whenever their child does something on their own, no matter what it is. he loves and is proud of all the members so he likes to show them that by cooking and cleaning for them all the time. then about 30% of the time he's telling stupid and confusing jokes that he probably doesn't get himself. he tries to be relatable and 'hip' so that he can relate to the younger fans and members but he's mostly just embarrassing himself which makes the members cringe every time. secretly, he loves making the members cringe and beg him to stop which is why he always goes on for a good 10 to 15 minutes before stopping and apologizing with a big smile while giggling like a little girl. despite how mature and knowledgeable he is, he can be very immature and clueless at times. when the other members are exchanging dirty jokes or talking about certain topics, injeong can only watch from afar with a confused expression while trying to figure it out in his mind. usually, he figures it out really late and laughs out of the blue which makes people think he's crazy. 25% of the time he's trying to be like the other members and have snarky or sassy comebacks but he's too nice and always messes it up somehow. he really tries hard but the best he can do is 'your mother is a lovely person and i hope you do well in life'. he has amazing people skills, as many could easily guess, and is very good at reading people. he can easily tell when someone is upset or scared or whatever easily which is why he's as nagging as he is and everyone trusts him so much. however, on the rare occasion he gets angry, he turns into a beast. he flips his personality so fast you don't even see it happen. he gets very cruel and throws punishments around left and right. if it's someone he doesn't know, he goes into fight mode and the members sometimes need to hold him back so that he won't catch a charge or hurt himself.

beneath all that, he's a very vulnerable person. he is so nice and loving that he does things for people without looking at the consequences. he knows people tend to walk all over him and a part of him knows he shouldn't let it happen but he cares for others so much that he can't help himself. it makes him an easy target and, for some reason, it makes him a little happy. he feels like he matters to someone and can help them when no one else will. he's also very self conscious about pretty much everything. he feels like he's lacking in visuals, vocals, and dance, matter what people tell him. he feels like he needs to get better or he'll fall behind the others and they won't need him anymore. he's so afraid of being left behind and feeling like he doesn't matter that he pushes himself to get better so he can keep up. he often pushes himself too much though, practicing for hours without stopping even after he knows the dance like the back of his hand and he always tries to work out until he can barely move. it's horrible and it's what he always tell everyone else not to do but he can't stop himself, it's simply who he is even if he wishes he could change it.
