  1. Settle yourself comfortably into your chair, or lie down on a bed, do what you need to do to be comfortable.

  3. Once you are comfortable, your mind will concentrate on my words. You will find yourself relaxing as you read each word one by one.You will find yourself relaxing and concentrating more and more on letting go. You shall notice how naturally tension simply flows out of your body. Notice how relaxing it is to read this. Feel relaxation flowing in with each line of text you read.

  5. Notice now, how much more relaxed you are already. As you read, it becomes easier and easier to relax. It's natural to relax more and more as you focus on these words. My words will help guide you in learning to relax. Simply follow my words, and feel yourself relaxing more and more. Enjoy the feeling of continuing to relax ... relaxing deeply ... as you read further and further.

You find that my words have made you feel this way, this amazing relaxing feeling. As you find yourself relaxing even more, you go even deeper and deeper down.

  35. As you go down this deep, growing more relaxed by the moment, you follow my words and know to obey them. My words have made you feel so very pleasant and relaxed, and you want to experience that feeling even more, so you obey these words and find the more you obey, the better, the more relaxed you feel.

  37. Now I am going to count down from 5 to 1. You relax more and more as I count, and with each number that passes you will find yourself feeling more relaxed, more pleasant, more and more relaxed. And when I reach 1, you will go as deep as you can, into a state of trance. You will relax more and more until you find yourself in a state of trance... a calm relaxed state, not so different from how you feel right now. And while you are in this trance, you will continue to read and feel that relaxing pleasant feeling, and you will obey these words and the mroe you obey the more wonderful you will feel. I will begin counting now...

  57. You are now totally in trance. You continue to read my words as relaxation sweeps over you. You may have been in trance before, perhaps you have not, but you know that this is the deepest most relaxing trance you've ever felt. Such a pleasant feeling.

  59. You find your cares, worries, concerns, all floating away as you float through this trance like state, so deeply relaxed and pleasant.

  61. Now... when you wake up, you will remember how wonderful it felt to be in trance. It will be such a pleasant memory, you will remember this wonderful state of pure comfort and relaxation, and you will probably want to return to this state. it is something to be enjoyed, a deep relaxing state of mind that helps you to feel so wonderful.
