- 1.0: Crawl was made.
- 1.1: Added distortion system
- 1.5: Players now must give a personality, as the characters will now begin with an item set based on their character/build direction. This is an attempt to 'tone down' the difficulty.
- Every floor past the 1st will now contain a special room that the DM makes a public roll for. These rooms are optional for the most part, and may not even be found.
- Barter system implemented
- 2.0: Barter system removed.
- Races implemented.
- +269 creatures have been added to the generator. Additionally, I have split these creatures to hopefully allow the roleplay to be difficult, but fair.
- 3.0: Out with the old, in with the new. This essentially is a large revamp of the last crawl. It's far different, including:
- *School system. Instead of Altars, player earn abilities by clearing floors, finding certain treasures, or murdering monsters faces. Every floor clear, a player gains a perk in a particular school relevant to their character, allowing them to build towards what they want.
- *Magic: Magic is specialized in rather than having named spells. Players don't use mana; rather, they grow exhausted or get penalized from failing spell checks.
- *Weapon: Players specializing in certain weapon/fighting style will be granted abilities dependent on their build.
- *Race: Every floor clear, a player has a chance of gaining a perk based around race.
- -Changed character sheet.
- -Altars removed
- -Magic system revamped.
- It is now possible to meet friendly npcs.
- 3.1: A 'fix'.
- Magic system hunkered down. Spells are back to being named, but instead of using mana, they still use exhaustion and checks.
- +Added allowing players to begin with a religion, so long as it's from Erilen.
- 3.5: GUNS GUNS GUNS
- *The crawl's era is updated. This allows the use of gunpowder weapons such as muskets or blunderbusses.
- +Challenge runs added.
- +Dungeons are less black and white.
- +Implemented 'statistics', for the sake of balancing players out and making them fair.
- 4: Full d20
- -Removed the former stats.
- +Replaced them with several more ability scores. Seeing how I'm lazy, I'd rather not explain how many changes that entails.
- The Pit:
- Crawl changed to have a more cohesive, proper story. Setting takes place in Veska now.
- -Removed the class system
