  1. Sunday should belong at the end of the week
  2.
  3. I see the norm for the weekday format of "Su Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa" a lot and i have some possibly controversial things to say about this.
  4. Sunday should belong next to Saturday on the *end* of the week. Monday *starts* the week and Sunday *ends* it. They are called "weekends" for a reason
  5.
  6. >b-b-bbut you are using the wrong definition of "end"!!!
  7.
  8. I see this point come up alot and i have this to say. If you have a thin sheet of paper divided into 7 columns with a pencil, yes indeed, the 1st and 7th columns are the "ends" of the list of columns. but the thing about paper (or any physical object) is that you can rotate it. the 1st column and 7th column can be flipped around so that the "ends" are swappable. This cannot happen with days of the week because time is linear (or a flat circle if you are a doomer zoomer) and cannot be flipped around. Imagine buying a weekly planner and flipping it upside down so you can plan your week backwards, it simply doesn't work like that.
  9. This is why the correct definition of "end" in this scenario is the actual END of the week (sat and sun) and not the actual end and beginning.
  10.
  11. >this is stupid! if everyone went by your rules calendars would need to change!
  12.
  13. so? most people i know don't even use a monthly calendar or a weekly planner, they just set stupid reminders on their phone or, you know, USE THEIR BRAIN. also, its not like putting Sunday on the far left of the calendar would alter the flow of time, its just *correcting* the order of the days of the week, nothing will break from this, computers don't care about the order days of the week are anyways so your dumb iot botnet devices wont break.
  14.
  15. in conclusion, reform big calendar and their obvious mistakes they have made.
