Crappy :-( why's  that?
Got the electricity quote R8000, quite steep, but most of that is for the supply cable to the main feed - no wonder they get nicked! He should install within the week.Should get the plumbing quote tomorrow, he has to put in a water tank after all, still not low enough to get a decent pressure from the main tank and a we have to get a pump as well. He says that'll take about a day to install. Seeing the chap from the gas water heater supplier tomorrow, that'll be around R5000 installed - about the same as geyser ( plus an even more expensive electricity cable to power the thing). So I think we can bank on around R25000 for the lot.

Started doing some freelancing this morning and sent them off then got into finishing the 'front' steps. Saw a sizable green snake, about 75cm, thought it may be a Green Mamba but more likely a Natal Green which is very common around here, looked up on interweb and the description fitted the Green - harmless.

Any news on transfer?
