Japan VS USA relay rules

Each country must have 6 players to race, and no player may do more than 1 segment. If a player drops out, his team must replace that person with a player who is not already in the relay race.

Segments:

Gelato 7
Pianta 7
Pinna 7
Bianco 7
Sirena 7
End

The person on the Sirena segment MUST use the Japanese version of the game so that he does not gain an advantage for Sirena 6.

Each segment ends as the “could not save” text box appears. The racer of the next segment will have defeated shadow mario, collected the shine and will be waiting with the textbox showing.

As soon as the racer ending his segment sees the textbox, he will tell the next racer to begin his segment. At that time, the next racer can clear the textbox and proceed with his segment.



Before the day of the race, each person must have a save file with the proper number of shines collected so that they are ready for their segment.

For these save files, you may have any number of lives. We will not be tracking the lives of each team.
