- Alright, I am fucking tired because this day is fucking eerie okay guys.
- Alright, so the idea behind Multiversity is that a villainous group of abominations, known as the Gentry, are invading the Multiverse of DC Comics; which is composed of different universes, here dubbed "earths." The series gives various earths the spotlight each issue, showing what occurs on their earth and how the Gentry affect it. But the Gentry itself has a few details that really make you confused if you don't know them. Firstly, they seem to represent problems within the comic book industry. Another is that they're metaphors for obsession. Why are you sitting here reading this post when you could be out there doing something productive or meeting the person of your dreams? You're too fucking obsessed with comics, or you heard my retarded babbling last night in chat.
- Another is that they begin to affect the worlds they're coming to, before they're actually summoned in their lovecraftian glory by the occurrence of two key events. The death of a hero, and the desecration of an artifact. The hero is often killed by an agent of the Gentry, whom has been infected by the Gentry because Ultra Comics is somewhere out there. We'll get to that soon. The desecration of an artifact often occurs indirectly related to the ordeal. Yellowjacket's mask got bloodstained when he was shot by his own son. Blood spilled onto an ancient Sumerian dagger, the only kind of which could kill an Immortal Man.
- Here on Earth-Prime, Ultra Comics was published just this Wednesday. You probably skimmed a lot of this shit, so here's where it gets spooky. DC Comics had to have printed and shipped Ultra Comics on Tuesday, the day the plane crash occurred.
- I have no idea how this happened, but /tv/ somehow managed to cause a plane crash. The relic? The plane. Baneposters admit that the meme affected the way they viewed planes, crashes, and CIA. And combined with that one Anon's post on the pilot forums? They couldn't get a grip. The Aurora shooting. Sandy Hook's cameo in TDKR. And now this.
- They began to link together events when they realized eery coincidences. The flight number, 4U-9525 for instance. The 9525th frame was the end of the plane scene. 3:24 was where Bane was speaking and the center of the shot. And the coup de grace? Crashing the plane with no survivors. Perhaps, the pilot was experiencing depression, living with his mum and all. And his obsession with the Baneposting meme could've been a reason. Instead of survival, he chose his obsession- humor.
- With the relic of flight being desecrated in a post-9/11 society and post TDKR, it took bloodshed.
- Within the pages of Ultra Comics, the Gentry fights a superhero powered by our thoughts (long story) and wins. It proceeds to knock on the walls of our universe, Earth-Prime at the very end of the comic book.
- Now, because the hero's blood has been spilt and the relic has been desecrated, the Gentry's ready.
- But the creepiest thing is, that the Large Hadron Collider was supposed to start this week. Hoping to make contact with other worlds, scientists say.
- The Gentry live in the gap between Earths.
- And there was a "technical issue".
- I heard weird banging outside my windows, and it was loud. Echoing.
- See y'all around.
- EDIT- Thanks doc, I was tired as fuck when I wrote all this. So to clarify on it's "printing" stuff
- Ultra Comics existed a while before Atom noticed it in SOS, so we can just say that it's a sleeper agent in a way, waiting to be activated at the right moment.
