Demonica

A strange young man stumbled down the stairs of the subway, his body trembling. His clothes stuck to his body, the garments wet from his sweat. The man looked anxious, every so often looking over his shoulder.
He had just barely escaped the hell he had been trapped in for the last couple of days. The demons that tormented him, his own demons, beckoned him to return. But he would not allow himself to go back to that place. He had to escape them once and for all.
“Aaaah...nnng....”
His throat was raw, the pain of having his mouth taken so forcefully still fresh in his mind. If he was caught by them, he would re-experience that pain again and again. They were insatiable in their lust.
“Get away...must get away...”
His body was still sore from the things they did, but he forced himself to walk. Slowly, he approached the edge of the platform.
“Get away....must get away...”
He could hear the demon's footsteps behind him. If he did this, then he would finally be free of them.
“Only way...the only way...”
He wondered how it had gotten to this. Three days ago he was a normal man living his life like anyone else. But after getting a taste of that hellish drug...
“Hey, you there!”
He turned his head back and saw a police officer glaring at him.
“We finally tracked you down, scumbag.”
Behind the officer, he could see the demons forming. Their shrill laughter was like nails to a chalkboard for him. However, he was the only one reacting.
“N-No, get away...”
“There's no more running,” The officer said curtly, “You're going to pay for what you did to that boy.”
The demons were closing in on him, using the officer as their avatar. In the distance, he could hear the train's horn. This was his only chance.
“GET AWAAAAAAY!”
He jumped into the path of the oncoming train, his last salvation.
“Nooo!”
The officer's scream drowned out the sounds of flesh being sliced apart by metal, but it was clear what had happened. The young officer fell back, shaken by having seen someone commit suicide in front of him.
“H-How..? How could he have just...”

“Oh, what a way to go.”
From the shadows, a strange young man sneered at the pitiful man's final moments. He had seen many men waste away, but he was one of the few with a will strong enough to resist his temptation. But unlike the ones before him, instead of taking on his demons head on, he chose to take his own life.
“Don't you know what happens to people who die while under my curse?”
He waved his hand, and a small blue flame appeared in his palm. The flame quivered as he petted it gently. This was the soul of the man that had just died.
“They get to experience their own personal hell for all time.”
He kissed the flame, a red color blossoming from the point where his lips touched it.
“But look on the bright side, at least now your family and friends will forget you ever existed.”
If this person still had a body, he would be screaming in agony. But he would play with this poor soul later, for now he crushed the flame in his hand and made his way back up to the street.
“There are still plenty of more victims for me to tempt. Plenty more people to torment...”
