PERSONALITY : yixuan is distant and rude, which is something that his mother instilled in him. he's cold to everyone, but his father is the only one who can make him be himself. yixuan feels like everything his father does for him is in vain. he has a love/hate thing with kids, but his dad had two after getting remarried. he didn't claim his half-siblings until his stepmom begged him to babysit and he surprisingly enjoyed it. his half brothers always clinging to him and it makes him feel like he could be a dad one day. it's the only time he's ever caring around another person.

BACKGROUND : yixuan was born in los angeles, california and was an only child for the duration of his parents' marriage. their personalities clashed quite often as his mom was a cold person who was closed off and rough around the edges, while his dad was a bright personality. yixuan was in custody of his maternal aunt while the divorce was going on and to distract him, she would show him different genres of music and dancing styles, which he enjoyed. his mom and him relocated to her hometown in china (later on to south korea) after the divorce was finalized within a year, much to his disappointment. yixuan's bond with his dad was weak due to lies his mom told him, saying his dad didn't care about him because he got remarried and would have more kids. one night before his 18th birthday, he had a argument with his mom about how she stop being so cold and difficult if she doesn't want to die alone because he doesn't plan on staying with her all his life, but he technically left on his own and somehow, he found himself on neptune's doorstep because he thought of her despite how awful he felt and even if they had known each other for a little bit.
