  2. The Scottish Moors were a damp, cold, and rather dangerous place. They were prone to thick fog cover, had innumerable sinkholes, and they were wide vast and sprawling. It was small wonder that endless legends about will o' the whisps, redcaps, and other such dangerous fae that lured unwary travelers to their deaths surrounded areas like this. It was also small surprise that once you knew such things were real, to find out they were among the least dangerous things to dwell in the moors. However, most of those left people alone but today something was causing trouble. Locals in the small town of Fildatch had reported numerous missing animals and villagers, usually with the prints of a wolf-like being in the area. It is wolf-like because, beyond the fact that wolves had been hunted to near extinction in these parts, the tracks were about two sizes too large. The answer was clear, a werewolf or something similar was in the village and thus Sir Quentin North of her Majesty's Department of Paranormal defense had been sent to investigate. The tall broad-shouldered man had arrived in the village the previous night and after securing lodging he'd made sure to check the phase of the moon. It would be full in a few days which meant he had time to get the lay of the land and prepare. Which he did, spending several hours exploring the moors with a local guide and realizing that his fine suit was ill-suited to this en-devour. Once he had more suitable working clothes he'd prepared a trap. Locating a farm on the edge of the village that had yet to be hit, setting out a few untended animals, and now he was waiting in the farmhouse on the second floor watching his bait. He cold only hope the beast would strike this side of town tonight. -e-

  4. Philomena A sudden silent chuckle came from the women's lips as she looked around the farmhouse from above the railing. Luckily the she wolf was light on her feet and hardly made any sound. Did this detective really think that these silly traps would capture her? How cute. He maybe his royal majesty's head of paranormal defense but he obviously needed to learn how to make a better trap. Shaking her crimson strands in a soft motion. Lavender irises peering just above the waiting male. Animal attack!!!! Those words echoed outside of the farmhouse. Ears flinching at that it, well grand someone made another mess. This time it wasn't her. Actually none of the attacks were done by her. Quite the opposite, for some time she had been trying to also track down the person down. Sadly, she had got herself being chased by that fella down below her. Leather pants with some tears at the knees accent her lower frame while the upper was held together by a customer corset. Satin and lace, of course. Her bare feet would soon made it's way towards the window where she had entered before he had arrived earlier in the day. Leaping out before barrel rolling against the ground. Looking over her shoulder before once more the she wolf began to run towards the woods. Fire burning a few houses near the barn, a few blocks at least. Why did someone have to cause so much hell for these people? It's not like they had done anything to him or her. Sighing to one's self, a lavender scent trailing behind her. Though only other lycans would be able to catch that smell. -e-

  7. The sound of panic arising from the village catches Quentin's attention. Grabbing the bottom of the shutter he flings it open and swings his legs through the window. This window was at the front of the house above the covered front porch so he came up on top of the roof, took a few steps and jumped down. He landed hard but absorbed the impact with a roll coming to his feet. Just as a woman performed a very similar maneuver a few feet away, well that was unexpected. Before he can say a word she is off like a shot toward the sight of a distant fire. It appeared as though the attack was happening on the other side of town. He could question the strange woman who'd apparently been silently hiding in the house with him later, for now, he needed to move. He was a rather fast man, with long legs and once he got his momentum going he was off like a shot toward the fire.

  10. Philomena Taking in the sight of the village that was covered in flames, her violet optics widened. What have they done? Stopping dead in her tracks when she saw a toddler, absolutely covered in third degree burns. Reaching it's hand out towards her, the women's hand began to reach out before a mother screamed at the sight. More than likely it's mother. "Save him!" What could she honestly do? The child was soon a goner. Closing her gaze for a moment knowing how she felt. As the women held the child screaming and sobbing; the crimson stranded women opened her eyes seeing the buildings go to ash and dust in the matter of minutes. The whole town as practically in ruins. Turning on her toes, Philomena made her way back into the forest. A sight such as that was too much for her to bare in one night. Much less this being done by another wolf. Well if they wanted attention, they surely got it. -e-

  14. Barreling into the burning town Quentin sees the utter devastation and pauses. Had the wolf done this? To what end? Perhaps it had been an accident, they supposedly lost their minds on the full moon after all. Without hesitation he leaps into the rescue effort. The whole village wasn't burning yet, some men had formed a bucket brigade taking transferring buckets from the well to soak down thatched roofs to keep the fire from spreading. However, one house that was blazing also had the sounds of scream echoing from it. Plowing through the front door like it isn't there Quentin vanishes into the smoke emerging minutes later carrying a mother and daughter. Then he turns and goes back for the father, emerging singed and coughing. But he doesn't pause, he immediately moves to the next house. That is how he spends the night, saving lives where he can and helping with the fire effort by carrying water.
