  1. [17:59] IcePickLobotomy Time: August 4th, 7:42am. Location: Docks.
  2. [18:01] IcePickLobotomy Mary: It's cool out by the docks, a pleasant breeze coming in with the steady warming dawn. The boat is larger than you expected, more of a yacht really. The cabin rises above the long forward deck, colored in a pearly white with blue lines along it. There is a name, though its in Arabic, along the hull as well.
  3. [18:08] Mary is wearing a nice long summer dress as she looks at this, with a heavy bag on her back and one at her side as she walks closer
  4. [18:08] IcePickLobotomy Hikari pops her head over the railing "Ahoi thar matey! What be. . . uh. . . " She looses steam "doin' here?"
  5. [18:15] Mary "Arry I came to look at the stars, and it seems like I already see one in my sight"
  6. [18:17] IcePickLobotomy "Hah!" She motions to the nearby gang-plank "Flattery well get you. . . moderately far with me." She grins "Mr. and Mrs. Iravani are up top."
  7. [18:19] Mary "Well I could say something about that here , and now you want me to walk the plank?"
  8. [18:19] Mary smirks as she gets closer
  9. [18:24] IcePickLobotomy Hikari helps you off the gangplank. She's wearing a loose tank-top and shorts, both in a light sky blue. You can see that she's wearing her swimsuit underneath as well. "Here, I'll show you where we're stowing out stuff."
  10. [18:28] Mary "Ah thanks for that. And cute ensemble Hikari"
  11. [18:30] IcePickLobotomy "Thank you, the dress looks awesome by the way, and it's nice to be able to wear something that's not my uniform for once now." She guides you into a doorway. The hallway is short, 4 sets of doors, 2 on each side, with a stair-well leading up and down at the other end. Linoleum floor and wooden panels decorate the room, a fire extinguisher hangs to your left with a first aide kit on the...
  12. [18:30] IcePickLobotomy ...right. You can hear voices coming from the upper one.
  13. [18:38] Mary "Well you can always change out of your uniformn when you escape ninja mom. Are the others already there?"
  14. [18:38] IcePickLobotomy "Nah, but they should be here in a bit."
  15. [18:41] Mary "So, top or bottom bunk, or do we just hang around?"
  16. [18:43] Kasra (Yeah, Mary are you a top or a bottom?)
  17. [18:46] IcePickLobotomy "I already took the top bunk." She opens the leftmost door revealing a small cabin with a bunk bead. A small porthole looks out at the ocean and sky. It's mostly bare of furniture and is adorned like the rest of the ship. The topmost bunk has a dufflebag on it

  19. [18:51] Mary "Well, just don't hit me nose with your feet when you come down"

  26. [19:14] Mary places her stuff on the bed
  27. [19:15] IcePickLobotomy "Come on," She grabs your hand and starts to drag you to the wheel-house.
  28. [19:20] Mary gets dragged around
  29. [19:22] IcePickLobotomy Further up is Mrs. Irivani talking with her husband. He's dark skinned with a short well trimmed beard and a solid build. He has a pair of glasses and is wearing a pair of jeans and a t-shirt with a captain's hat. "Ah hello Hikari, and this must be Marry." He has a booming friendly voice. He speaks with a slightly English accent.
  30. [19:25] Mary "That is right Mister Irivani, thanks for the pleasure and the opportunity that you are giving us here"
  31. [19:27] IcePickLobotomy He waves a hand "Oh, it's my pleasure. I'm always happy to have a reason to take the boat out."
  32. [19:35] Mary "Well then we shall all enjoy it then. " *she nods * How long are you already owning this beauty by the way?"
  33. [19:35] IcePickLobotomy "Oh, about 3 years now."
  34. [19:42] Mary "Ah well, man gotta dream, and then fllfill that dream after all"
  35. [19:56] IcePickLobotomy He nods "And somehow I feel that the only day that'll be happier than the day I baught the ship will be the day I sell it."
  36. [20:10] Mary "Because it takes up to much time and energy also?"

  40. [20:12] Mary takes a look at the others " And I assume that the missues would also be happier instead of you spending time with turning your sailed missus iup?"
  41. [20:12] IcePickLobotomy Mrs. Iravaini shakes her head "I like the boat really, being away from everything, it's quite relaxing."
  42. [20:13] IcePickLobotomy "Yeah, and you don't have to do any of the maintenance." Her husband mutters.
  43. [20:15] Mary "And you an enjoy a romantic evening under the stars in swimwear surely "
  44. [20:15] Mary has a cheeeky smirk
  45. [20:16] IcePickLobotomy "Arn't you a little young to be speculating on that sort of thing?" Your teacher asks dryly.
  46. [20:23] IcePickLobotomy "And I'm saying that Chlorine Trifluoride is too unstable for a rocket fuel! It's a better oxidizer than /oxygen/. It burns /sand/ . *Sand* ."
  47. [20:24] IcePickLobotomy "Well yes, that's why it's such a good fuel." It's James and Nick
  48. [20:26] Mary "I was just complimenting your Husband and you, and I am 17en"
  49. [20:28] IcePickLobotomy The two boys blink "Wait what'd we miss?"
  50. [20:28] IcePickLobotomy Hikari just smirks "Wouldn't /you/ like to know."
  51. [20:29] Mary "Something for which you two certainly seem a bit to ... Young and Imature"

  58. [20:58] IcePickLobotomy The two boys glare at you before Hikari snaps at them "Hey! Go get your gear stowed away."
  59. [20:59] Mary stick her tonge at them amused
  60. [20:59] IcePickLobotomy A Few Hours Later
  61. [21:00] IcePickLobotomy The ship is well under way, the city growing ever smaller in the distance. Spray kicks up as the boat powers through the chop, the wind tugging at your dress and hair as you and the others enjoy the warmth of the sun on the deck with cool drinks in hand. Hikari leans back in her seat "Man, this is nice. Thanks for coming Mary."
  62. [21:05] Mary "Hey I certainly like the idea also, and well I have noi problem in helping you get away from your father there. I might even have done so if It would not have interested me " She says softly before she leans back and sips her drink in the sun
  63. [21:06] IcePickLobotomy "He's not bad Mary, just a tad overbearing sometimes. I think it's to make up for how often he's busy with work really."
  64. [21:06] Mary gives of a grunt and a shrug
  65. [21:14] IcePickLobotomy "So Mary," James asks "Mind if I ask you a question? About the uh. . . Outriders."
  66. [21:15] Mary "If I am allowed to answer them , I am willing to answer"
  67. [21:16] IcePickLobotomy "I wanted to know what it's like. I mean I heard that they operate on a MMI, er mind machine interface, I was just curious if it felt like anything."
  68. [21:22] Mary "Well kind of yes .."
  69. [21:24] Mary nods and then scratches the back of her hand "Well you are interfacing with it and depending on the details you are closer or further away from the sensory perception of the outrider, because you overlay your senses on the maschine so it thinks it is your body."
  70. [21:24] IcePickLobotomy He nods "Ok that's. . weird but cool."
  71. [21:28] Mary "And well I am happy that I am not really a close combat Fighter, beause, well your brain also interprets the signals that are part of the dammage routione"
  72. [21:36] IcePickLobotomy "So uh, when it gets damaged you get hurt?" Hikari asks
  73. [21:37] Mary "Well, it feels like that, not that a synchrone injurity is a thing that should happen
  74. [21:43] Mary smiles reasuringly at them
  75. [21:45] IcePickLobotomy James nods. Nikolas looks skeptical and Mary gives you a worried look
  76. [21:47] Mary "Hey don't worry its more like, a bumb instead of a real thing, a apendix is much worse "
  77. [21:49] IcePickLobotomy They nod, somewhat mollified
  78. [21:50] Mary "See don't worry about me, worry about my enemies" She tries to go dor bravado
  79. [21:51] IcePickLobotomy "Why would we worry about them?" Nik comments "They are trying to kill us."
  80. [21:51] IcePickLobotomy He turns a page of his book "Pity is for humans."
  81. [21:53] Mary "Because it made for the best bost that I was thi8bking about in 5 seconds
  82. [21:54] IcePickLobotomy "Kill 'em all and let their ashes nurture the earth."
  83. [22:00] Mary "i dont think tat we leave ash bwhind most of the time"
  84. [22:02] IcePickLobotomy "Good. Less they leave behind the better."
  85. [22:11] Mary "Yes that is certainly true
