AHH! The Kraken!

Alexithymiaa: -Brad hung from the jungle gym overhead even though he was easily tall enough to put his feet down and stand up and basically be the same height as he was hanging from it. Ducking his head down a bit to hide from Connor, he let out a short laugh because he was probably having just as much fun with the park as the four year old.-
Covet: Kelsey had been on the phone, while she watched Bradley and Connor play. She was confirming their Grammy after party reservations and their hotel for next week. Smiling as the boys played on the playground equipment, she finished her call and walked over to them both. // Connor was looking around for Brad, he'd heard him laugh but couldn't see him, "Where the heck did you go Dad? " He said aloud then saw Kelsey, "Momma do you see Dad?"
Alexithymiaa: -He quickly put his feet down on the ground and moved his finger in front of his mouth to shush kelsey from blowing up his spot, walking underneath the play set and quietly snaking his arm up to grab at Connor's ankle, his voice rising loudly. "Ahhhhh! IT'S THE KRAKEN!"-
Covet: Kelsey looked at Brad and gave a soft laugh as she looked up at Connor, "I think you just found him kiddo" she laughed. // Connor gave out a squeal and tried to pull his foot away so he could dive down the slide belly first for a quick escape. "No Momma that's the Kraken! He's eaten Dad, and now he's going to eat us too!"
Alexithymiaa: "Roarrrrrrrr!" He kind of grumbled, moving over to the slid to wave his arms around on either side like a sea monster. "I'M HUNGRYYYY!" he called out in a deep tone even though he was probably out of character right now and that was a legit Brad statement.-
Covet: Kelsey picked up a stick and flailed it at Brad, "Don't worry Kiddo, I'll save you." She told Connor as he reached the end of the slide, then poked Brad's arms with the stick. "Back ye beastie!" // Scrambling to his feet, Connor ran to Kelsey's side, and jumped, "Get him Momma!"
Alexithymiaa: "Ahhhh!" He called out as she poked him, dramatically stumbling backwards and collapsing onto his back only to twitch a couple of times before laying completely still in the crash, his eyes closed.-
Covet: Kelsey watched Brad die then handed the stick over to Connor, "Go poke him and make sure he's really dead." // Connor took the stick and walked over to Brad, because you don't run with sticks, that's how you lose an eye, and poked Bradley in the stomach with the stick.
Alexithymiaa: -At the feeling of the poke, Brad sprung up from being dead, reaching his arms out and grabbing Connor to hug him to his chest, holding him tightly.

He yelled before bursting into laughter and falling onto his back with Connor still in his grasp. "Okay okay, I'm out. I'm tired and I need a snack."-
Covet: Kelsey had totally just sent her son into a trap, knowing he wasn't actually dead. She laughed as Brad came back to life and held onto Connor tightly before falling back again. "Feeling a little low are you?" She asked him as she walked over to where they were at on the ground. // Connor dropped the stick and squealed out again as Brad grabbed him, he was doing that hysterical kid laugh that doesn't stop. When Brad mentioned a snack he regained his composure. "Do we have snacks? What about a drink? I'm thirsty."
Alexithymiaa: -Releasing Connor from his grasp, he pushed to stand up all the way, brushing the dirt off his butt. "Yeah, kind of. Did we bring snacks? What do we have?" He asked before looking down at Connor. "What do you want Little Man?"-
Covet: Kelsey had to think about what was in the go bag that she brought around with them, because diaper bags are over rated. It was just a backpack that had necessary kid things. Kleenex, wet wipes, change of clothes, toys and of course... Snacks. " I think today's options are, Gold fish crackers and fruit snacks." She said walking over to where she'd put the bag down at. // Connor looked at Brad after he stood up, "If you want the fruit snacks, I'll eat some goldfish. Wait, do you want goldfish too?"
Alexithymiaa: "I dont think I should have the fruit snacks, buddy." He lifted his hand to rustle Connor's hair before walking over to Kelsey to look down into the bag with her. "Do we have any drinks?"-
Covet: "There's a couple of waters in here." Kelsey said as she pulled out the snacks and the bottles of water. " Why can't you have fruit snacks?" She asked Brad, "They're sugar free ones." // Connor nodded his head, "Momma says they're better for us Dad. They taste pretty good too."
Alexithymiaa: "Oh, well then in that case..." he trailed off, reaching for the fruit snacks to tear open the package and pop a couple into his mouth. "We only have water?" He asked with a bit of a lip curl because ew water. Shut up Brad. "Maybe I can go over to the snack shake and get a diet soda or something."-
Covet: " Are they even open right now? Kelsey asked, looking over at the place he mentioned. "Water will be fine for you, you can get a soda or something when we get back to the dorms." She told him, shoving the bottle into his hand. // Connor reached up to take the other bottle from Kelsey, then handed it to Brad, "Dad can you open this for me?" he asked even though Kelsey could have just opened it for him.
Alexithymiaa: -He groaned at the force of having to drink water because he's a baby, sticking his own water under his arm and taking Connor's so he could unscrew the cap for him, handing it back. "There you go. What do you say?" He asked as he eyed Connor, expecting a thank you which is kind of ironic because Brad is ungrateful lately.-
Covet: Kelsey looked down at Connor, still holding the bag of gold fish for him while he took his water and took a drink. // "Thank you Momma for bringing us water." He told her with a smile. // Kelsey couldn't help but smirk as she got the Thank you and Brad didn't. "You're welcome kiddo. I'm always looking out for my boys. "
Alexithymiaa: "Uhuhhh...." He eyed Connor before unscrewing the cap of his own water to take a sip, offering it out to Kelsey and shoving more fruit snacks into his mouth. "She's very good at being prepared, don't you think?"-
Covet: Kelsey took the water from Brad and took a sip from it, not sure why she was still holding things for them. She looked down at the bottle and bag of fruit snacks in her hand from Brad, and the Goldfish for Conno. "Apparently not enough I should have considered some sort of portable table apparently. " // Connor put the lid back on his bottle and handed it to Kelsey so he could get some goldfish and fruit snacks, some in each hand. "Uh huh. She always has things in the go bag, that we need, but I don't think a table will fit in there Momma."

Alexithymiaa: "That's actually a pretty good idea. Maybe something to keep in the trunk?" He asked because his mind was already going to how they needed a portable table for some reason. "Even if she doesnt have a little table, she's going to be very prepared to go up on stage and accept her award on Sunday with a nice little speech, right Kels?"-
Covet: Kelsey sighed and shook her head, still holding onto their things as she listened to the two of them. "The point is I shouldn't have to need a table." She laughed then tilted her head side to side, "Well, I actually haven't thought of anything to say. I don't want to jinx it by getting my hopes up." // Connor tilted his head to the side, "What is Jinx?" he asked.
Alexithymiaa: "It's a pokemon." He said quickly to Connor before addressing Kelsey again. "It's not getting your hopes up. It's being prepared. Would you rather the chance that you win and have to go up there and wing it in front of millions of viewers? I dont think so."-
Covet: "Excuse you, I am a natural performer, I'm not terrible at winging it. If I write a speech it feels like I expected to win it, I don't want to come off as facetious like that." Kelsey said to Brad. // "Momma's going to have a pokemon at her award thing?" Connor asked with big eyes.
Alexithymiaa: "Uhhh... sure." He said to Connor with a laugh. "Yeah, but in front of all of those people, coming up with something on the fly? Don't you think it's easier to at least write a little something just to be certain you're not going to mess it up on stage when you accept your award?"-
Covet: "I guess, I can put something down, in the off chance that I happen to win." Kelsey said with a soft sigh knowing he was at least a little right. She looked at the time and started putting their snacks away because it was time to get Connor to bed for school in the morning. "C'mon you two, let's get back to the dorms. It's late." // Connor nodded his head and walked over to Brad lifting his arms up, "Can you take me to the Car, Dad. Playing made me tired."
Alexithymiaa: "Sure." Brad said as he leaned down and picked Connor up, holding him to his side and letting him rest his head down on his shoulder. Turning to Kelsey, he lowered his voice because he anticipated Connor would be asleep before they even got home. "See, you know I'm right." He said with a grin as he started back toward the car.-
Covet: Kelsey shook her head as she picked up the go bag and nudged Brad while they walked to the car with the kiddo and headed out.
