- This chapter... Is one dedicated to the war of Osrona against Theria, an early match up due to OOC scheduling. But, this was a fight between Uri and Duana... The young Medic actually did it, the mad lad stole the kings horse and rode it out to battle, out into the rising sun where he shall meet his opponents upon the battlefield before he could return to his duties as a medic, and mend the wounds of any fallen knights. But, sadly enough, even though the fight was close and he almost had victory in his hands. He lost, his flames weren't hot enough, and he could not defend his town for what might come next... He managed to escape with a temporary injury thanks to the Kings Horse, Arthur.
- [07:35] Uri Sanctum says, "Hey there horse, looks like Im stealing you for this war.. But don't tell the king."
- [07:40] Uri would look at the horse and smile. "Let's ride into the sunset buddy.." He would speak to it and then place the settle onto the horse. "After all, you are a war horse right? Well... Show me what you got.." Uri would then place his hands on the ropes and look at the many trees before him.. Maybe there were guards, maybe they wouldn't stop him since Uri was allowed to ride the horse wherever he wanted....Except for beyond the gate... But he would do his patrols near the bridge...
- "YAH!" He shouts as the horse would Neigh. Taking off in a sprint with Uri mounted on its back. "For all the things we've been through... For all that its worth... I hope you survive this Alexander, for I will fight for no other king... No, only you, because of this steed you have given me... And in return, I shall bring you a hundred more...YAH!! GO ARTHUR, RIDE LIKE THE WIND MI AMIGO!"
- And into the battlefield they went... Both Uri and Arthur with Faira's spirit likely watching over him. Uri had no idea of what to expect, if he would even come back alive for that matter or injured for life... But right here, right now, he thought not of himself, but the War he wanted to bring to an end... The war against Theria and its allied nation of bandits. So he went, upon a lonely road. For a town of many.

- [07:43] Uri was riding Arthur, the horse of the King out into the Rising Sun, to fight his battle for the war. "YAH! Make Haste Arthur!!! We must end this war ourselves before anyone else could get hurt!" And to war he went, upon the northern mountains.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [07:44] Cetta says, "Don't go getting yourself killed in Theria. You're my friend, so stayalive."
- [07:44] Uri Sanctum exclaims, "I'll do my best! YAH!"
- [08:02] The ride to battle was a long one. And of course, the magi-horse would have to endure such a long stretch, but faster than any other. Just as expected, the Kings horse was great in its own right, in its own field of war just as it was trained to be. And here, it would take Uri a long ways away from home, just to where he would meet his opponents for the war... Duana, someone he knew nothing of...
- But from this distance, all he could see was her face. "Whoa now...Settle down boy..." He stares at the woman, or teen.. "So, I suppose I can count myself as a lucky one... Facing a beauty in battle, rather than a musky man like myself..." He smiled at the enemy before him. As he would finally jump down from the horse, only to slap it on the rear so that Arthur could run away, at least to a safe distance...
- Uri watched as the steed made its run, and as for him. The young medic would give his attention, all of it, to the woman before him. Duana… Who seemed deadly, fierce even. "Well I'll be... Foreigners are better looking after all... But, now's not the time to distract myself, is it? No, it's time I push for what I believe... Freedom," said the Sanctum Leonous as a burst of flame would shroud around his body... Burning air and burning away the grass around him, for he knew, that this fight, could lead to many possibilities …
- "Because once this is over... I'm leaving the Order and their ways once and for all... I don't know about you, but I hate following Orders from people who think its their right to punish those who wish to prevent wars like this..." Uri stood there on the battlefield.. Whilst everyone else might be fighting, they were focused on each other... Uri did not care what Alexander was doing or what Elora was doing back at the Clinic... He only thought of a few he needed to prevent from dying because he knew... That in order to assure a certain future, those three must live... The Mysterious Three he swore to protect.

- [08:15] She had promised her strength to Theria, the last place on the continent that accepted her for who and what she was.
- The Order of Osrona had spent days trying to climb those steep mountains, all to reach what she had faith would be a meat grinder at the top.
- She stood atop one of the outpost towers, the chill wind sending her cloak behind her in a cascade of dark fabric.
- A narrowing of those golden hues, she spots Uri on his horse, someone she knew.. but he wouldn't know that she was the girl he had played tag with all those years ago. She had only just arrived to Osrona then, pure innocent Cassy..
- She jumps, shadowy claw growing to dig into the towers side as she lowered herself to the ground at a reasonable pace. Standing directly in his path, she was kind enough to allow him to dismount, eyes glaring.
- His words were ironic, given she was descended from not one, but two of Osrona's noble houses. "You think you're fighting forfreedom right now..?" She shook her head.
- "You're fighting against freedom, Theria is the Free City. You're fighting for a power-hungry monarchy, and even if you leave the Order.. what will you do then..? Sit on the sidelines..?" She pulls her weapon, shadows beginning to curl around her form as she points it towards Uri.
- No matter what he would do after the battle, he was still fighting for the Order now.
- There was a flash of crimson energy, Vrona screaming in anguish with a palpable feeling more than a sound as she forcefully drew upon it's mana. "So perhaps another day, when you get a bit of sense we won't fight, but today..?"
- "You better hope I miss." She lunges forward, Occultic energies boiling over in a spray going right for him.
- (Duana Kurokaiyo)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [08:24] The Occult-tainted cosmic met flame and the light of his own star.. such was the beginning to a climactic battle. The two engaging in a flurry of exchanges, but it was soon apparent the Kurokaiyo was no ordinary teen.
- A fluid grace executing every movement she made with that staff, hand extending at key moments to strike with that umbral limb that formed and dissolved as needed.
- Flames burned against her flesh, but to his horror he would truly see something he'll wish he didn't.. One of the Osronan non-Magi soldiers, trying to brush by, her hand grabs him by the throat and within the span of a moment he was dead.
- His life essence torn out all at once, what was a healthy man a moment ago was naught but a mummified corpse as she tossed him away... and he could see her own wounds closing.
- Her face grew fuller than it had been, as if she had just went from being half-starved to well fed in the span of a moment. "You people... You all claim somerighteous cause, or you don't fight because you disagree.. but you don't fight to change it." She smirks, her feet crunching the snow as she prepares to go again.
- "What you don't understand is people are bad, corrupt, Osrona is just too good to admit it. Are you too ignorant to admit it to yourself..? That you carry that darker part of your heart..?" She doesn't give him much chance to answer, her body blurring into darkness.. he'd have to move fast or be struck.
- (Duana Kurokaiyo)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [08:26] Fighting for the wrong side... Uri was asked a very good question.. Defeated so easily by someone like her.. As he fell to his knees and forced himself to spring back up. He looked at Duana and spoke. "What will I do?... I won't fight for them, simple.. I have a history I want to uncover, and by being under their knights I can't do that... I'm a medic... Fighting isn't exactly my hobby its what I do to survive..." Somewhat angered he did not put up a good fight, Uri would punch the ground.
- "You are very well built, through your abilities... Never did I think, I'd face the shadows, in such a crucial time like this.."
- "Wait... Have we met before?..." He would ask the woman, getting into his fighting stance... "Cass?" He asked, confused but still able to fight... No matter what his thoughts were, he couldn't allow himself to lose to Cassy today, or well, now Duana! So Uri would maintain the heat of his flames...
- More..More, he needed more.. He couldn't keep up with a person who fought like this... The spells, the magic he used being used against him... It was a wide variation of techniques and he could truly see, how the girl actually fought... "I'm not as ignorant as you think... Trust me, I came here today, hoping to avenge my sister... The one who brutally murdered her... And after, I was hoping to just seal it all away, this power, this war... But there's no running, because no one is safe here in Esshar."
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [08:32] The fight would continue on, bringing the two down to their final round... "I can't remember, the last time, you smiled... But are you that same person?... The same girl I once played tag with?" He would ask while preparing himself for their final round... After all the fight was one in war and Duana had the advantage when it came down to utility and skill.. While Uri, was more so a brute force of strength and heat, always emitting from himself..
- "If we ever cross paths again... I hope it is over a glass of wine, and... Times to catch up on... Because now, I am not fighting for Osrona, I'm fighting..." he would take off his Osrona emblem and toss it aside. "To right all the wrongs we've made!" He knew Osrona had a troubling history and soon.. Uri would read into what might be hidden...
- So his flames would rage on and he would get into his fighting stance, ready to go toe to toe with Duana for their final round. "I can't imagine a world where... Everyone is perfect, that to me is a Sin, but at the very least, we can keep a balance...Right?" He stood there, waiting for their final battle to begin with flames trying to achieve a great heat. Something, Primordial....
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [08:35] "Exactly, you won't fight for them.. but you won't fight against them either? That makes you just as bad, an accomplice." Anything he could say to get into his head, instill doubts.
- Their fighting had resumed, her body much more burned than it had been, the playing field had been levelled more than she had initially thought it would be. "We've made..? Haha, hahahahah. How noble." She prepares for what would be the deciding engagement, more accustomed to his fighting style than she had been.
- (Duana Kurokaiyo)

- [08:37] {Lost Dangerous RPB against Duana Kurokaiyo}
- [08:37] ** Duana Kurokaiyo has inflicted an injury upon Uri Sanctum. ("Temporary Injury", "Temporary Injury", "Temporary", "Duration: Medium (4 days)") **
- 08:51] They had adjusted to one another, no real surprises remained, from here it would be a matter of sheer skill and trickery. "Balance..? The world stopped being a balanced place a long time ago Uri." She slammed her weapon into the ground, an explosion of darkness pushing him away.
- "The Teraphim place themselves above people, Osrona think it's a flawless place... Yet who started this war..? The Teraphim, they want dominion over us all.. and Osrona is too stupid to see it." She rushes forward slipping that staff beneath his guard to slam it right into his stomach. "The closest thing to perfection.. is when you embrace your destiny."
- The weapon was whipped around, just as a fist struck her side, she wheezed but powered through it.. the metal shaft striking his arm to disable it even if for moments.
- Skeletal umbral arm forward, she grabs him with that massive limb.. gripping him by the jaw. "Say nothing now..." Shesqueezes, a plain cracking noise heard as his jaw was cracking.
- Though that wasn't the worst of it, like hot irons being pulled through his face, his life essence flowed into her.. already healing off those wounds.
- If he didn't slip away now, there's a chance he wouldn't.
- (Duana Kurokaiyo)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [09:01] Close to victory he was... Just a dash and a beam away from taking it all, to almost convincing Cass---Duana that things would be okay if she had faith.. To taking that first step towards a greater change.. But, the gods would not favor him this day... He fell to the ground just before he could execute his combination of attacks, falling in a flurry of Duana's area damaging spells... She was swift, she was smart, she knew the ropes, and probably had more combat experience than this young Medic who fought only bandits from the southern nation.
- "Gah!" He grunts as she grabs ahold og his jaw, and he, too weak to break free or move out of the way. Her grip was tight, dominating him even now as he was at her mercy. "Cass---Please----" But, before he could even speak, her magic took its place as she began to drink a large chunk of his life essence, like a vampire, she fed on him. And all Uri could do was grunt towards this, shaking even as his legs would tremble! His arm couldn't move, and he was stuck like a mouse caught in a snakes deathly grip!
- He couldn't break free! The grip was too much, he could feel her devouring his spirit for the sake of healing herself.. He gave her a weakened look, as if he was pleading to her, as if he was trying to bring Cassy back! But, he knew, that deep down inside, she probably saw him as less of a friend and more of an enemy for the day as they fought for their respective homes... What would happen? If Theira won, Uri thought... Would they truly be free? Or would they become slaves like the Rhoynish…
- Luckily... The dice gods did favor him this day... For his steed, the Royal horse would come storming in, a Magi horse at that, running at high speeds... If Cassy were to let go, Uri would fall, but if she did not... Then the horse would probably cause for them to separate... Leaving Uri open to finally grab ahold of a rope attached to the horse, slipping away as the steed would gallop back to Osrona, passing through the many fights ahead. For now, he would have to grant himself an Elixir... Too weak to pour it into his mouth right now... For the horse dragged him with whatever strength it had left...
- "Duana… Why couldn't we just reunite... And enjoy eachothers company as we did back then... When you were someone I used to know..." He thought to himself in a day dream once he was brought back to safety... The horse Arthur, may of been tired, for it fought with him in this war for a long period of time before they finally came down to Duana...
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [09:16] As the horse would bring Uri back to the clinic... half way there, he would have hopped onto its back, to make for safer travel... His jaw was in a lot of pain, but he could hardly feel much due to the life within him being sucked away by Duana… But, he lived... he lived to fight another day as this would be a lesson for him to push himself to get even stronger than what Cassy, now Duana was...
- Upon arriving to the clinic... Or rather, as he entered the gates in this land full of war, fire and blood. Uri would reach into his inventory pouch, taking out an Elixir... His jaw was broken, so he had to open his mouth as wide as he could, forcing himself through a painful process... He couldn't scream, but the tears in his eyes held all of the pain...
- Drip... The Elixir would be poured into his mouth... Causing for a slow, and painful healing process as bone would have to re-attach itself... His flames were died out by now, he was not going to be able to fight for a while... Only remain in the clinic as the war rages on, letting himself heal and healing the many wounds their soldiers might receive in battle...
- After the elixir had healed his jaw. Uri would relax himself for the rest of his body to heal up. The horse would have returned itself to the castle, just before the king himself would fight or after, whichever will come first. You drink the Elixir Of Healing!
- You fall back to the ground. (Levitation Potion has worn off)
- Your body is lifted to its optimal health, all scrapes and bruises vanishing. Your magical circuit is also cleansed and repaired.
- ** Your "Squeeze" injury has been completely healed! +38 VIT
- Uri would speak, looking up to the ceiling, "Faira… Did I fail you? I didn't win the fight... And the war has only just begun..."
- (Uri Sanctum)
