One part 17 of "Two Worlds Collide" coming right up. This fic was originally going to be much more grimdark but I changed it so the end could get closer and I want to be nice by giving you all mercy instead. I could tell you about the original draft if you want. Anyways frens, enjoy.

-Charlie's POV-
>'I hope Al's doing okay. By dad's logic, wouldn't exterminators only target large cults of followers?'
>Charlie was obsessing over various questions regarding to not only the exterminators but as well as Al.
>'Even if there was followers, Al should be fine. He may be a little weird sometimes but he's a great guy. He didn't commit any dangerous sins that I know of.'
>While Charlie was thinking of the incident, her mother came into the room and stared at Charlie.
"Charlie, I've noticed you've been obsessing about your mortal friend. Is there something you want to talk about?"
>Charlie looked back at her mom and made some space on the bed for her to sit.
>"It's just that I'm worried for him. Al sometimes acts a little weird but he's still a normal human. There's no reason the exterminators would go after him if they also go after cults. He's the only so-called 'follower' I have on Earth."

"Unfortunately, I don't make the rules in Heaven and neither does your father. Anyways, that wasn't what I was here for."
>"Then why are you here mom?"
>Lilith pats Charlie on the head.
"Charlotte, I know you hadn't been completely honest when I asked you to tell me what happened when you were at the surface."
>Charlie felt a tang of worry and looked down.
>Lilith patted Charlie's head and looks up.
"Charlie, I've been seeing how you acted and spoke when you talk about your mortal 'friend' and I see the signs. It's okay with how you've been feeling about him towards lately."
>Charlie looks up at her mom.
>"I know he's a human but I just feel like we crossed the line between friendship and love at times that sometimes, I just want to have something more between us. I don't know if he feels the same about me back and he just confuses me with what he does..."
>Lilith wrapped an arm around her daughter and feels sympathy towards her.
"I would've chastised you on this but I understand why Alexander's appealing to you. Despite being a mortal, he seems like a respectable, young man who would be there for you when you need it. It reminds me of when I used to be a human, during my exile from the Garden of Eden. Although your father was a fallen angel and I a human, we both came to terms with one another from our circumstances and formed a new relationship that lasted for ages. While some things had gotten shaky between us, we still went strong and even had you. It would be very hypocritical of him to forbid you loving a human while he married me and had you as our child."

>Charlie wiped a small tear from her own eye and looked at the clock.
>"I just want to thank you for being so understanding here. I mean, most of my exes didn't care for me like how Al did. They just think I'm some dumb girl with a silly dream that would never make it to reality. Although Al doesn't completely agree with my beliefs on giving everyone a second chance, he still supported me as a person."
>Lilith hugged Charlie and looked at the time. Unfortunately, it was time to prepare for her singing concert.
>Charlie understood and let her mom walk out of her room.
>Charlie went back to sorting out her own feelings regarding Al and whether he liked her in that way.
>She thinks about her past loves who either broke it off or abandoned her. She hasn't been with anyone since the prom date with Harold Von Eldritch and everyone knows how that worked out.
>Her past loves didn't like her bubbly personality or her optimistic beliefs about everyone. They said it was insufferable to be near her and they had ridiculed her before.
>However, this might be a chance to have something different, something more worthwhile and meaningful with someone who cares about her.
>Charlie feels a small warmth in her heart when thinking about Al. She still is unsure if he feels the same back.

>She recalls seeing family photos of him. He looked so adorable with that little hat and puppy!
>'Al seems to like dogs. Maybe when I go back to Earth, I can go to the pet store and surprise him with a puppy! Good thing I collected human money from my trips. I still have it with me in my purse.'
>As Charlie becomes delighted with planning out the future surprise gift, something else happens on Earth.
>Meanwhile, on Earth, the serial killer was making a coup de poudre with Lucifer watching over him carefully in the basement.
"I will admit that I'm impressed with your knowledge of voodoo. Care to explain how you acquired these techniques, Alastor?"
>The Devil handed Al the herbs and felt some pride in his protégé.
"Aside from studying my maternal grandfather's journal when he worked as a bokor, I sought after more knowledge that aided me during my sprees. To this day, the public nor the law knows the identity of 'The Wendigo of New Orleans,' as they referred to me so."
>Lucifer noted this and looks over at the various books Al kept.
"I see you're a fellow man who seeks knowledge for himself, regardless of how others perceive you afterwards. Although I'm still not convinced you should be around my daughter, I respect your ambition to pursue knowledge to utilize for your advantage. After all, knowledge is power, it will only make you stronger.."

>Although Al absolutely resented the other man for what he did, Al did respect his wisdom and appreciated the compliment from the royal.
>The same could be said for you. Hellspawn..."
>Al spoke with a snarky tone which resulted in Lucifer 'accidently' dropping his toolbox with a smug look on his face.
"Oops..."
>Al internally frowned and went to pick everything up and put it back on the table. He didn't say anything further afterwards. After all, it was time...
>Lucifer's grin contorted for he knew what was the next step of this process.
>This specific process required two living people to test it out. Lucifer wants to see if Alexander lived up to his given title of the "Wendigo."
"Now that it's getting dark outside, we should be heading to the city. Are you prepared for tonight?"
>Al went up the stairs and opened the basement door to the kitchen. He puts on his game face and had his coat on ready, hiding his knife and other tools.
"My fellow, the real question you should be asking yourself is, are you prepared?..."

Sorry for the short delay. I had to work overtime for pay and it was shite. Anyways, this is the end of part 17 of "Two Worlds Collide" and I hope you enjoyed it. Gotta blast
