DBL - Demigra, Chronoa and Mechi highschool

>He was extremely gifted, really strong, talented and often buttered up

>Whoever could successfully hatch and raise the next Toki Toki would become the next Supreme Kai of Time

>he pulls a Fu and tries to cheat his way through

>Meanwhile Chronoa is doing great, because she's Twilight Sparkle and the real magic comes from Friendship
>in other words, she got Demigra, whom at the time was the frustrated third placer with a wide gap in between even second place, to help her out
>because although Demigra just saw her as sappy idiot who doesn't deserve all that talent
>Chronoa actually admired a lot of Demigra's work ethic and wanted him to work with her
>despite his grievances, Demigra agrees and whaddya know, they actually do a great job
>Mechi's toki toki egg was just really screwed up by now, he knows he was losing but in a last ditch effort, tries to sabotage Chronoa by getting to Demigra
>Mechi convinces Demigra that Chronoa was pitying him
>now while Chronoa did mean well, she did, especially when she was young, have a tendency to have her peppiness be easily misinterpreted
>Demigra, especially when he was younger, was easily angry
>the thoughts of conspiring were beginning
>Mechi tries to clone his Toki Toki egg, resulting in a hideous bird named Doki Doki
>he's booted out of the Heavenly Realm for his crimes, kicked into the Dark Realm
>Demigra had remained in Heavenly Realm, though, now tasked with assisting Chronoa with the final phase: raising the baby Toki Toki hatchling to adulthood
>But at this point, Demigra was still upset. Keeping in contact with Mechi, the two continue conspiring
>Demigra decides to experiment on Toki Toki behind Chronoa's back and manages to convince Putine and Gravy to help him
>As the story goes, Demigra is found out. Also booted
>Demigra and Imbeciles arrive in the Dark Realm
>just some fun facts: The Dark Realm had already existed by this point. That's where they tossed the trashy, rotten core Shinjin. At the time, mostly consisting of angsty, angry, or sneery delinquents
>Demigra and Mechi being born pure shinjin initially and already being top of their class
>they pretty much overpowered The Dark Realm, turning into the Dark Demon Realm
>Mechikabura loses interest in becoming the Supreme Kai of Time, cos it turns out that he actually enjoys just being a jerk who power wanks himself
>he becomes a master of the Darkness energies, hence becoming known as the 'Strongest Evil'/Dark King
>Demigra never loses interest in the role, though
>Demigra remains Mechikabura's second in command and from what I've seen in the games, they actually did seem to get along quite well
>But either way, at some point, Mechikabura's reign in the Dark Imperial Army comes to an abrupt end when what's likely a confrontation or an accident turns him into a dormant/dead raisin (could go either way)
>Demigra, now free to rule the Demon Realm by himself -- he's off and on in interest in reviving Mechikabura
>He's fixated on that role to become Supreme Kai of Time
>Eventually, this culminates into him REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEing into the Time Nest
>He underestimates Chronoa, whom by then had also become powerful and mastered the Power of Time
>Gets sealed in Crack
>like a bajillion years later
>Demon Realm is still Demon Realm, with remnants of the ruling days of Mechi and later Demigra
>There are different wannabe lords all over the place, but the most powerful ruling family is likely Mechi's lineage (or created ancestors probably), which is likely the one that directly leads to Towa NOT BECAUSE THEY'RE BLUE but because Mechi being their great great gramps was the only translation available at the time when I put this together so neyeh
>Demigra's time in Crack actually did good for him: it taught him patience
>and he eventually grew to resent Mechi, but I won't go farther on why he's grown to dislike his old partner because the games themselves haven't gone completely there
>my theory is that it might be just because he realized Mechi is just a power wanking jack-ass
>Demigra at least seems to have an interest in the role with the intent of doing a good job
>and again, he forgoes a selfish wish to help Chronoa
