MLP Bimbo Fantasy Ch20- Manor Upkeep

With a few more quests under their belts the Stellar Six were taking some time to do some work on their manor, they had plenty of additions and changes they wanted to make but proper budgeting of their gold was going to be hard, especially with lavish spenders like Rarity or those used to more finer accommodations like Twilight.

“I think we should invest in more luxurious bedding and furniture.” Twilight said “This is a manor after all.”

“A bed’s a bed who cares if it’s got silk sheets or now.” Dash grumbled “I think we need to really work on that wine cellar, we could store some great ales for parties in there, that or a training ground, never hurts to get stronger.”

“Stronger and sweatier.” Rarity told her “Perhaps a nice bathhouse would be something wise to build, a place to relax and clear one’s mind after long missions away.”

“I’ve already sent letter home asking for some saplings and seeds, we can get a small farm going.” AJ said “At least that’ll be good for making hearty meals.”

“Yes, I also used some stockpiled gold and favors from home to request some ore and a small forge to be built.” Rarity explained “I’ll be able to start crafting us some fine magical accessories.”

“There’s plenty of time to think, but remember we shouldn’t be harsh to the forest.” Fluttershy reminded them “So whatever we build we’ll need to be careful with.”

With thoughts of potential future purchases the ladies started their day of housework taking care of whatever called them. For Dash and Pinkie this was raiding the wine cellar to find a nice vintage to use for dinner that night, and in Dash’s case a little afternoon teaser.

Fluttershy was spending some time in the forests getting back in tune with nature after having spent a bit too much time in cities lately. Twilight had plenty of experiments she wanted to run, but the lack of space in her bedroom only served to make her frustrated, she wanted a new library lab desperately.

The two making the most progress were Rarity and Applejack whose personal tasks were able to be done without extreme financial investment. For Applejack this

“HMPH!” AJ slammed her garden hoe into the dirt, pulling it and kicking up some crumbly debris “Soil’s not the best but with a little care pretty sure I can get it workable; we’ll be having fresh veggies and the like in no time.”

Applejack had sent word back to her homestead asking if they could send her some seeds from their farm in order to help her get started, at this point she’d tilled most of the soil and set up some irrigation trenches she simply needed that courier to show up with her delivery.

“Sure, is hot out today.” She wiped her brow.

“You’re telling me darling.” Rarity said leaning on the nearby fence “Now you see why I want to build us a bath house sooner or later, I simply can’t take this sweat it’s disgusting.”

“Little sweat never hurt no one.” Applejack said “Sides you wanna build a forge don’t ya, heat’s gotta be fierce near a smelter like that.”

“I never said it wasn’t hot, again all the more reason we work on a bathhouse.” Rarity said “Unlike orcs, elves take pride in our appearances and sitting around sweating like hogs is unbecoming.”

“What’s that supposed to mean, eh?” AJ let out a brutish grunt.

“I just mean Orcs usually do a lot of fighting and land work correct, Elves usually pursue more scholarly pursuits like magic or literature, it’s hard to sweat reading a book after all.”

“You sayin I can’t read or something?”

“Now girls that’s enough, best to stop that argument before it proceeds.” The ground said before Gloriosa appeared between them in a breeze of leave.

“Teleportation?” Rarity gasped.

“Not quite, simply an application of Gaia’s power.” She smiled “Blending in with nature, you’re not the only ones who can get stronger.”

“This host has her benefits.” Gaia spoke a bit “I see you are building a farm, good more nature around here is welcome to counteract some of the industry this one is planning.”

“I’m building a single forge not a factory.” Rarity pouted.

“So long as you keep the smoke to a minimum and contain the fire it’s fine.” Gloriosa said “You two are more alike than you think though, I suppose opposites attract, traditional elven beauty but classic orc strength, nature vs modernity, yet you’re both half-breeds who have more pride in your non-human sides, it’s so nice to see.”

Rarity and AJ looked at each other and smiled, just as quickly as they were getting worked up things were settled.

“Now, I overheard you mentioning something about a bathhouse.” Gaia said “I might no of a special spot you can use.”

The forest spirit took them into the woods, following a winding bath she revealed to them some old ruins, down the stone stairs was a small underground alcove that was filled with water and polite statues.

“This bath was constructed by followers of mine many years ago.” Gaia said “It’s mostly fallen into disrepair but you’re welcome to use it as you need to, you may have to fix it up a bit is all.”

“It looks lovely.” Rarity threw off her robes and dove in “Ahh so cool and refreshing.”

AJ slowly stepped into the water “Hmm, yeah it’s nice.”

Gaia went dormant for a bit and Gloriosa joined the girls in the water.

“I’ll use Gaia’s powers to rearrange the forest a bit so there’s more direct path to the Bathhouse in the Ruins for you.”

“That would be wonderful, I nearly get lost in these woods every time we enter, they’re practically a thicket.” Rarity said as her breasts bobbed before her “Perhaps once my tools are delivered, I will construct a beautiful ornament for you?”

“I’m not one for jewelry.” Gloriosa laughed a bit.

“Then how about you come by for dinner at least once the plants grow.” AJ told her “Love to treat you since you’ve been such a nice neighbor.”

“I’ll have to think about it, you know how Gaia can be about leaving the forest.” She chuckled “Say you two are expecting deliveries yes?”

“Yes, I do wonder what’s taking so long though.” Rarity hummed “I would have thought my package would have been here sooner.”

“Same, sure hope nothing got stolen by bandits or nothing.” AJ added.
