And where's that? ...Huh, well, just because it's significant doesn't mean it's SAFE. ...Then again, if it were in danger, the city would probably be boned, for it's the heart of it! The heart of the city where people tend to be day in and day out, the town square, with all kinds of things in the center (as opposed to mostly just the fountain (which is still there) and benches or whatnot)! It's not exactly a hidden place, but you'd bet that Fate would think twice about going there if it doesn't want to be seen...but yet, most people would be too busy to hear you!

And of course the dark bags under her eyes, which only serve to make it obvious that she pulled an all-nighter (or close to one) plotting something.
[15:37:54] <Niina> She combed her hair a little bit though, it's too bad the player hasn't figured out how to use a tablet in a way that doesn't look like fermented horse excrement yet, it's very stylish and appropriate for the occasion.

[15:48:48] <@GeMshuku> It totally helps with standing out! Chikako does change her clothes a bit, though you can tell she likes her normal look. The most notable addition to this is an orange hat, which blocks out the sun nicely!

[15:50:41] <Niina> totally seeing 'orange hat' as 'cowboy hat' btw, cannot unsee
[15:52:08] * Niina suffers by not wearing a hat btw, basically stuck in a perpetual squint because the sun is like 'fuck you' and making an effort to make it obnoxious to see all the time because that's what suns do.

[15:52:33] <@GeMshuku> She arrives, quickly noticing Niina...since she called out, and, well, the candy cig (which provokes some stares by passersby, at least until they realize that there's no smoke). "Don't think so, I was sure to keep my eye out. Even brought a hat so I could see in the shade!" She does not tip it, but with how Niina is, she might very well see it tip itself.

[16:18:50] <Niina> At this point, Niina gets a spark in her eye and probably leans closer to Chikako with a big grin.  "What if we ruin that backup by telling them the truth, in a way that makes them come to us and find it on their own?  With the All-Seeing out of the way, it probably won't be able to tell others about the aliens like it did us... because, you know, we sort-of-killed it."
[16:20:05] <Niina> "And since we know they're probably hiding (assuming they do exist), we obviously can't go find them on our own... so, I'm gonna ask this: What do you think's the trendiest place in Maebashi, that probably won't change even if reality warps and becomes something totally foreign to us?"

[16:45:59] <Niina> "But... obviously we wouldn't just leave magic by itself.  Even if that would be a sign for them, it wouldn't tell them anything.  What I want to do is USE magic on an object, and that object will be... some kind of diary explaining everything.  I think my little sister has one of those, knowing her I doubt she ever used it and just got it because it was decorated like one of those animes

[16:54:57] <Niina> "I only experimented a little bit, but I think I have a vague idea how Reina's power works... and if I'm right, I might be able to hide something like that just out of alien reach.  But if reality gets corrupted and the place it gets hidden in isn't there for it to come back to, all that work will be lost, y'know?"

[17:00:01] <Niina> "So I'll leave it to you, my Second-In-Command Savior of the World, to determine which place will be a better home for our Aid Package For Future Saviors of the World."

So... they're basically taking away our awareness of the world as-is, and making us aware of another world.  Our weapon is that we should be able to use that power against them, and cause reality to change SO much that we, humanity, control that change and use it to make one where the

You just don't know!
