  1.
  2. You are Liz, a peasant living in the kingdom of Larion. You have a pitchfork and a nothing else. You wake up and begin working in the fields. You see your sister Mary who is also a peasant. She has no idea that you two are related.
  3.
  4. One day while you're plowing, an old man with a long white beard approaches you and asks if he can help.
  5.
  6. > okey
  7.
  8. "Sure," you say. "What do I owe you?"
  9.
  10. The old man looks at his pitchfork and then says, "Nothing." He walks away as fast as he came.
  11.
  12. A few days later, another person comes to ask for help.
  13.
  14. > okey
  15.
  16. This time it's a woman. She tells you she wants to marry someone special and needs some money to get married.
  17.
  18. "I don't think we need any money," you say. "We'll be fine on our own."
  19.
  20. She smiles and nods her head.
  21.
  22. >
  23.
  24. "Thank you. I know how much you love me."
  25.
  26. You smile back and hug her tightly. Then, you walk off into the distance.
  27.
  28. > good job
  29.
  30. It takes awhile before you find a nice girl to marry. Eventually, you do and everything works out well.
  31.
  32. > attack yourself
  33.
  34. When you finally marry the lovely lady, you feel happy for several months until one night when you go to sleep. Suddenly, your wife begins screaming and crying. She runs from room to room looking for someone or something to help her.
  35.
  36. > okey
  37.
  38. You run outside and see a large group of people surrounding your wife. They look like they want to kill her. The crowd starts chanting things like "Kill! Kill! Kill!" and "Rape! RAPE! RAPE!"
  39.
  40. You rush inside and try to calm your wife down.
  41.
  42. > okey
  43.
  44. Your wife screams even more. She runs from room to room looking for someone or something to help her. Finally, she finds a couple that seems like they might be able to help her.
  45.
  46. > okey
  47.
  48. They tell her to wait there while they search the house. A moment passes and then...
  49.
  50. "Oh my God! It's him!" the husband shouts.
  51.
  52. > okey
  53.
  54. He appears in the window.
  55.
  56. "I'm so sorry!" she cries. "Please let this be a dream..."
  57.
  58. Then, he stabs her through the eye with a knife.
  59.
  60. >
  61.
  62. "No! No! Don't leave me!" she says as blood gushes out of her eye. "Don't hurt me!"
  63.
  64. The man pulls the knife out and throws it at her face. He grabs his arm and drops it.
  65.
  66. >
  67.
  68. "Let go of me!" she screams. "I don't want to die! Please!"
  69.
  70. She falls on the ground and you can hear her wailing. You grab her by the hair and pull her up. Her eyes are still swollen shut but she sees you now.
  71.
  72. >
  73.
  74. "What did you do?" she asks. "Why did you do this? I love you."
  75.
  76. You look into her eyes and say: "I didn't know what else to do."
  77.
  78. >
  79.
  80. "How could you not know what else to do?"
  81.
  82. "It was an accident," you reply. "We were just playing around."
  83.
  84. >
  85.
  86. "An accident?" she asks. "You killed my husband!"
  87.
  88. "Of course I did," you say. "But we had fun doing it."
  89.
  90.
  91.
  92.
  93.
  94.
  95.
  96. You watch as the woman slowly recovers from her wound.
  97.
  98. >
  99.
  100. The man is still holding a bloody knife in one hand and looks very upset. He starts crying and begs for forgiveness.
  101.
  102. "I'm so sorry," he says. "I shouldn't have done that."
  103.
  104. >
  105.
  106. You look at the man and see that he has no idea how to react to this situation. The woman is bleeding profusely from her head and he doesn't even know what to do.
  107.
  108. >
  109.
  110. "Do you think I should call the police?" you ask. "They'll probably come here soon anyway."
  111.
  112. "No...please..." he says. "Just let me go."
  113.
  114. >
  115.
  116. "Please?" you repeat. "What's wrong with letting me go?"
  117.
  118. He turns away from you and begins sobbing again. You stand there silently, looking at him. His hands are shaking uncontrollably. He stares at the ground while wiping his eyes with his sleeve.
  119.
  120. >
  121.
  122. "Look, I don't know what happened between us," you say. "Maybe if you'd been more careful, things would've turned out differently."
  123.
  124. "You're right," he says. "Thank you." Then he wipes his face off and continues sobbing.
  125.
  126. >
  127.
  128. "Now then, where are your keys?" you ask. "Take them to the car and drive back home."
  129.
  130. "Okay," he replies. "I'll be back soon." He walks over to the door of the house and opens it up.
  131.
  132. >
  133.
  134. When he returns, you unlock the door and open it up. Inside is a small living room area with a TV mounted on the wall. There are also two couches facing each other which are both empty.
  135.
  136. "Thanks," he says as he sits down on one of the couches.
  137.
  138. >
  139.
  140. "Where are your keys?"
  141.
  142. "In the front seat of the car."
  143.
  144. He takes them and nods. "Good," he says. "Well, I guess I better get going now. See ya later." He leaves quickly after saying those words.
  145.
  146. >
  147.
  148. You sit down on the couch and close your eyes. You feel like you're about to fall asleep, but then something strange happens. Your mind goes into a different state of consciousness entirely.
  149.
  150. >
  151.
  152. You feel something tap your shoulder. You turn around and see a girl in high school uniform standing next to you. She looks older than you by about five years, but she still seems like an awkward teenager.
  153.
  154. >
  155.
  156. Her hair is messy and her clothes are tattered. She wears glasses that aren't too far off from yours.
  157.
  158. "Are you okay? What's going on?" you ask.
  159.
  160. She sighs and shakes her head. "It was just really scary out there today,"
  161.
  162. >
  163.
  164. she says. "My mom died yesterday and my dad wasn't here for her funeral either."
  165.
  166. "Oh..." You say.
  167.
  168. "Yeah...yeah...it sucks," she continues. "But thanks for coming to visit me today."
  169.
  170. >
  171.
  172. "No problem," you reply.
  173.
  174. The pair of you continue to talk for a while longer before she finally gets up and heads into the kitchen. You follow her inside and find her making breakfast. When she comes back out, she gives you a smile and waves goodbye.
  175.
  176. >
  177.
  178. As you walk back to your car, you notice that the street has changed quite a bit since when you left it earlier. The houses have been boarded up and barricaded with wood or concrete blocks. In fact, most of the buildings along this block are gone now.
  179.
  180. >
  181.
  182. You don't know what happened to the people who lived here, but they were probably all killed during the night.
  183.
  184. A few more cars drive past on their way home, leaving behind a lot less noise than usual.
  185.
  186. >
  187.
  188. You keep walking until you reach your house. Your door is open and you step inside.
  189.
  190. Your mother's room is still the same as always; it looks exactly the same as when you last saw her. There's no sign of blood anywhere, so it must be safe.
  191.
  192. >
  193.
  194. You go through your room and grab some food from the fridge. You also check your phone to see if anyone called you, but there hasn't been any activity on your number yet.
  195.
  196. After eating, you take a shower and change into clean clothes before heading downstairs.
  197.
  198. >
  199.
  200. When you get to the basement, you see that it's completely empty. No one lives here anymore. You wonder how many people live down there, but then again, nobody does anymore either. It's just a vacant house now.
  201.
  202. >
  203.
  204. You look around the house a little more and realize that there isn't anything else in here besides your bed. You can hear some noises outside though, like children crying and laughing. Maybe someone lives down there? If not, then where did everyone go?
  205.
  206. >
  207.
  208. You decide to check the rest of the house first. You head upstairs and start checking rooms by room. Eventually, you come across your father's room. He was usually in here at least once every day, so he should be here right now.
