  1. so my computer has been doing this weird thing where it refuses to open certain programs. I have the Windows 10 OS and the error is occurring with Steam, the Facebook Messenger app, and Spotify. Originally I tried uninstalling the messenger app to see if reinstalling would fix the problem (It actually won't reinstall from the windows store now, I just get the error message 0x80073D05 when it tries to install). Furthermore, I've tried restarting the computer a couple times and I let the computer sit overnight for 2 nights (Sometimes they will just magically start working again) but to no avail. I think the issue is something to do with admin permissions being blocked for some reason or a Virus. I ran windows defender but that came up negative so I downloaded Avast to be safe on the virus front but the .exe to install avast wouldn't respond! Then I went to go to task manager and to look at programs I have installed.I figured maybe I can purge some programs that might be doing it. First of all the Uninstall page takes several minutes to load which is cause for concern but it loads after thinking about it for 2 minutes (I have 2 hard drivers, by the way, a 100 GB SSD and a TB HDD). Anyways when I went to uninstall some programs I go the error message "windows could not uninstall the program Windows installer is not correctly installed". So that's and interesting problem. So at this point, I turned off my computer again for the night and figured if I gave it another night it might decide it wants to work again. Anyways here I am now, anyone got any ideas?
