ballons and streamers.. the center of attention being the three foals in the high chairs
two of which were having a good time the other was eating cake.
Victory stood in the corner. he was biding his time. he watched the girls fuss over the babys and even had a few rounds of tail catch with his son. he saw elane and jane dressed like models talking to grace about clothes and practical stuff babys need.. but his real fun would begin when terrence came in and talked to elane about...
he shook his head "good things come to those who wait..

5/3: blue light.. TAKE TWO!

lindie ducked and weaved around sensor probes and scanners.. she had not counted on suprise actually running a virus scan while the party was going on but she was ready.
she flipped over the scanners by the door and slid under the command beams.. she began the intricate dance while jumping over probes and side stepping beams.. she finally reached the bookcase
lindie exhaled and began scanning the titles

ditzy grinned remembering the good day she had.. if there was one thing she was great at it was being a mother. that and blowing bubbles. what her cutiemark represented.
but if anypony could have two cutiemarks ditzys would be parenting. no doubt about it.
the foals took to dinky and pinchy with vigor. they immideately began pretending one of the playpens was a pirate ship pinchy had given all of them a fake sword.. exept for pound and pumkin. they had their own "weapons".
ditzy chuckled to herself as Doctor whooves trotted up and grinned "ahh.. memories.. that is the best thing.. remembering all this.. time with family.. " terrence walked into the room by one of the back doors and talked with elane.. before she chuckled and nodded. she waved to the other girls before heading back out with terrence
"well i guess i just got upgraded to acting supervisor of the party.. best go tell suprise tha-" ditzy was interupted by suprise leaping up into the air and calling out PARTY GAMES TIME!"

"TARDIS refrence and schematics.." lindie said looking at the operaters manual for what appeared to be the blue box. "huh.. well this must be it." she set the book down and let the doorway expand from it.. she stepped through.. and was back in front of the wooden box
"ahh.. we meet again." she said to no-one in particular.
she opened up the doors to finding them once again empty.
"you really should stop you know.. " a voice called out.. a female voice this time.
lindie turned around to see colgate sitting on a wooden crate "there are some things humans cant see.. shouldent see.. not yet."
"and who is going to stop me?" lindie said with a grin
"well i wont.. i am just here to warn you about the conciquences.. and see if you can actually find the way in."

"Oh hush. you look Fabulous!" elane said as she brushed terrences hair
"thats what i am afraid of." he said with his eyes closed
"oh come now.. you look devine.. stop acting like a child.."
"remember this is not a permanant thing.. i just lost a bet."
"with victory.. but you did make a bet.. are you not a man of his word?" elane said setting the brush down
"yeah.. but i did not think it would get this far... or that i would lose." terrence said
"well we all have our prices to pay. now stand up and look in the mirror. tell me what you see." elane said
terrence stood up and cracked one eye open then the other "i see a woman."
"not just any woman..a beautiful woman. well she will be once we are finished with your eyes. hand me the eyeshadow there would you? the blue one."
terrence sighed and wished he was swapped with victory

Victory sighed and wished he was swapped with terrence.
it was the relay race. boys vs girls. the rules were simple. five people on each team no less.
the boys had The doctor (both of them), Soarin, Victory, and Mr Cake. the girls had Grace, Spring, Octavia, Berry, and jane.
the relay went as thus.. the fastest runner (henceforth known as "the baby" for the guys victory, and for the girls jane)
had to run to each of the other four stations.
the first station was feeding. Doctor tennant and grace had to feed the baby a jar of food (fresh apple sauce)
the second was "changing" where the station (mr cake and berry) had to pin the "babys" into a single white towel, over the clothing.
then it would be a mad dash to the third, pattycakes (soarin and octavia) followed by a hop skip and a jump to the fourth, warming up a bottle and feeding. (doctor whoof and spring.)
"on your marks!?" suprise said getting ready to wave the bib tied to a dowel rod to signal the start
yeah... victory wished he had lost battle clouds.

"HOW DO I GET IN?" galinda said kicking the wood box. "i followed the instructions.. pull to open.. i checked for loose walls and even stepping inside and shutting the door.. nothing works!" she shut the door and kicked it...
the door bent inward and a light shone out.
"... oh."
"last warning lindie.. " colgate said looking at the girl
"i dare you to try and stop me."
lindie stepped in and beheld all of time..

out of the net something happened.. lindies mechanical eyes started to smoke.. small tendrils of smoke seeped out of her closed eyelids.

"this is amazing.. i wonder why he keeps this locked up.. i mean.. look at that." lindie said before stepping up to the console. she ran her hand along it "such craftmanship.. such programing.. it is like this thing IS alive."
her hand skimmed across a diode.. and a flash exploded in the TARDIS.

Lindie screamed as she closed down the link.. too much too soon.. her mind was in a thousand timezones at once. she saw it all.. all of it.. her entire life.
"oh god.. am i dead?" she thought as she screamed.. her eyes.. they burned.. like someone had shoved red hot pokers into them..
her face soon felt wet as someone poured a bucket of cold water over her
"lindie.. can you hear me?" someone said.. a male..
"yes"
"did you enter into the box?" she reconized it now.. that Damned doctor..
"yes.. and i... i touched something.. i remember it all.. i remember" she said wincing
"why cant i see? doctor.. why cant i see?"
"well.. you cant see because you lost the part of the brain that controls vision.. it was.. reformatted." the doctor said as his colt counterpart gave orders to.... spring?
"reformatted? for what?" lindie asked
"memories.. you remember everything.. it seems that my... program caused you to remember all of your life.. something humans should never have.. there is a reason why we forget things.. small things like names of people we barely know.. what played on the radio four weeks ago..
where you left your keys.. because if we had to remember it all.. it would fry our brains. in your case the eyes.  so untill we can get you converted..."
grace felt a cane enter her hand and some glasses slide onto her face
"doctor.. thanks"
"dont thank me.. i dont deserve it." he said.. "well care to come to the baby shower now? there is not much left but social mingle..
a pair of high heels enter the room "Elane? jane?" lindie said calling out to her friends
"not quite.. although i have been told i make a beautiful woman."
"t-terrence? why are you...?"
"long story short lindie.. dont make a bet if you cant hold to win.. shall we go m'lady?" he said and she could hear the grin in his voice
"only if i get pictures of today when i get my eyes back." she said taking his hand "... nail polish too? let me guess..."
"elane" both said at the same time before walking out the door and to the party.
