- Firstly, this is to
- be used with XBMC, not the newer Kodi versions.
- Second, I assume you have previously installed XBMC to the
- default "C:\Program Files\XBMC" folder
- (NOT "C:\Program Files (x86)\XBMC"; If
- not, please move it to the correct location before
- proceeding.
- Now, I've created a few simple scripts to get your
- configuration correct. Open "Appdata.bat" first of
- all. This will copy your personal configuration to the XBMC
- folder. After this has finished, if you wish to remove your
- configuration from the machine (this data will be available
- within the XBMC folder now) hit the space bar twice.

- Next make a folder called 'Apps' on the root
- of your USB drive and copy the XBMC folder into this
- location. Now copy the 'XBMC Portable.bat' to the
- root of your flash drive. This will be what you click to
- open XBMC from now on when using your flash drive.

- NOTE: The machine you use this portable version on requires
- directx and C++ redist. I recommend copying the 3rd file,
- 'Troubleshooting.bat' somewhere to your flash drive
- as well. This will open links to these installers and you
- should be all set for wherever you go. ;)
