  13. Reposting from last thread
  14. >(P.O.V: Robert Sickle)
  15. >10 months earlier
  16. >After stepping through the portal, you were met by a familiar sight
  17. >Your lair, the crime scene.
  18. >This brought you back to the good old days, back when you were still filled with the need for retribution and vengeance upon society
  19. >Oh how naive you were
  20. >Your portal was surprisingly easy to find despite the size of the hell
  21. >You were practically drawn to it, as if your instincts were a GPS
  22. >And now here you were, back at the resort after all this time
  23. "Home sweet home."
  24. >The darkness of the basement was no obstacle at all, not with your demonic abilities and such.
  25. >After escaping the empty of abyss of the basement, you once again found yourself in the long gothic hallways of the resort
  26. >Even after all these years, it looked just as good as it did when you were still human.
  27. >A good chunk of the day was spent with you going down memory lane.
  28. >You felt up the walls and semi-fadded wallpaper of the inner building
  29. >You laid in silence in random room.
  30. >And then you got to work trying to restore the garden to its former glory.
  31. >Besides killing, gardening and yard work was a hobby you took seriously
  32. >And seeing your former pride and joy now filled with weeds as tall as toddlers made you sick.
  33. >Just as you were placing the finishing touches, someone spoke.
  34. >"I didn't think we were opening up this soon, mind telling me what ya doing here?"
  35. >You quickly turned to face them, your knife out and ready to greet the person with a slit throat.
  36. >One thing you learned in hell was to never let your guard down, which is what everyone learns, but the difference is how well you stay true to it.
  37. >You were one to follow that rule like as if it were one of the commandments.
  38. -
  39. >What met you was another demon, roughly 7 or 8 ft tall.
  40. >He had 4 arms and wore a white suit with purple stripes, with a matching white fedora.
  41. >The figure held his hands up and stepped back, but you held your stance, being ready for any tricks he'd pull.
  42. >"Buddy put that away before you lose an eye, if I wanted to hurt ya I would filled ya with lead from my Tommy gun seconds ago."
  43. >You kept your eyes fixed on the spider as you slowly lowered the knife.
  44. "Who are you?"
  45. >"Voice changer, really? If you're trying to be scary it ain't working, you're making yourself look like some emo punk"
  46. >"Shut up, it's for intimidation."
  47. >"Well it ain't intimidating much, loser."
  48. >By now your guard was lowered, but you didn't think any higher of the stranger before you.
  49. >"Now, I'm just gonna ask you again, whatcha doing here, we aren't opening up for a couple more weeks."
  50. "If you must know, I'm looking for employment here, are you the owner of this building?" You asked as your voice went back to normal.
  51. >The stranger shook his head
  52. >"Nope, if you looking for owner then you're out of luck. Charlie's down in hell asking for her parents support for this project of hers."
  53. "Oh, well are they overlords then?"
  54. >"Nope, the King and Queen of hell itself my friend"
  55. "Are you joking?"
  56. >Yet again the spider shook his head
  57. >This caught you off guard, it was one thing that someone was opening a hotel for the damned in the living world, but for the Royal family to be involved, and using your portal too....
  58. >Well, you were both flattered and worried
  59. "Too bad she isn't here then, it'd be nice to meet new people, and make connections."
  60. >"Yeah, I wouldn't do that if I were you, wouldn't want a royal finding out you tried using them and stuff."
  61. >The figure took one of your hands into a handshake that you didn't expect.
  62. >"Until Charlie comes back your stuck with me, Angel Dust, and you are?"
  63. "Uhh....Robert, or just Robby."
  64. -
  65. >"Robby, well since I'm the closest person here to a manager, I say you're hired."
  66. "Just like that? No interview or paperwork?"
  67. >"Nope, we don't even have much working staff here, so count yourself in. Tell you what, you can be whatever the fuck we need till we get more hands, then, I don't know, you get to be the gardener or some shit."
  68. "As in groundskeeper"
  69. >"Yeah, same difference right"
  70. "I guess"
  71. >"Great, welcome to work then, just sit around and wait then, Charlie should have stuff for us to do once she comes back."
  72. >And with that Angel went off, leaving you alone with your garden.
  73. >You couldn't help but laugh a little, things were already going back to how they were.
  74. >But you weren't planning on doing much yet, you only wanted to come back to check how things were.
  75. >However, you couldn't help but feel that there had to be more for you, some how.
  76. >"Hey new guy, that you laughing out there?"
  77. "No? Must've been a fox, they make a lot of weird sounds"
  78. >In a moments notice, you went on with restoring the garden, one plucked weed at a time.
  79. -
  80. >(P.O.V: Stacy)
  81. >Here you were, alone on a chilly night watching TV and channel surfing
  82. >On your bedside shelf, lay a few bottles of sleep medication
  83. >Your family had a history of insomnia, it ran through your family tree like a wildfire, and you were the next bush in line to be set a blaze.
  84. >But yours was a little different, it only ever came about when you were having bad bouts of anxiety.
  85. >For instance, when you were cheating on Anon, and when Anon eventually found out about you cheating, you could count the amount of sleep you'd get in a week on your fingers.
  86. >And now, you were feeling pretty stressed.
  87. >The man you were cheating with had just died, no, not just died, he was straight up murdered.
  88. >Sure, you hadn't talked to Mike since you stopped the affair, but this still freaked you out.
  89. >You were of course interviewed by that detective guy, Brian something. He told you that he didn't think you were guilty, but hey, he could be lying.
  90. >But if you really had to say what had you nervous, was something else
  91. >Recently, you've been feeling more paranoid, like someone's watching you.
  92. >It started a few weeks ago, you'd hear footsteps in empty rooms, see something move out of the corner of your eye.
  93. >And that's during the day
  94. >It's whole other story when it's dark out.
  95. >Like earlier when you were on your way home from law school, your car broke down on the road.
  96. >It was late and you were coming home from a very late study session because of a test coming up.
  97. And you swore while you waited there in the car, that someone was out there.
  98. >You saw movements, heard noises that no animal could ever make.
  99. >Then, for a split second, came those eyes.
  100. -
  101. >From your car mirror you saw them
  102. >They were white eyballs with red iris.
  103. >And the look they gave you, was one of pure hatred.
  104. >But after that, the eyes vanished, and with them the figure they belonged to.
  105. >But they also left a parting gift on your car, scratches on both sides and a pig head on the roof.
  106. >Suddenly you heard knocking at your door.
  107. >You took a knife you hid in your drawer and crept over to the door.
  108. >After a short pause you opened it.
  109. >No one was there
  110. >You looked down the hallway both ways and didn't see even the slightest evidence someone was there.
  111. >You figured it was just your imagination, a sign that your sleep medication was kicking in.
  112. >Letting out a sigh, you went back in vegan closing the door
  113. >"Um excuse me for a moment?"
  114. >The door stopped, and you peaked your head back out
  115. >In front of you stood a girl that looked close to your age, she had red hair and a matching red uniform
  116. "Can I help you?"
  117. >"Yeah, sorry for bothering you but I kinda needed help finding a certain apartment here. Room-342."
  118. >You felt something off about the girl, but you didn't know what.
  119. >You just got bad vibes from her, despite the warm smile she wore.
  120. "It's 4 floors down, 5 rooms away from the elevator on the left side."
  121. >"Oh, well in that case thanks."
  122. >She kept smiling at you, keeping still as a sculpture.
  123. >You looked into her eyes, and her irises looked red.
  124. >No, they were red.
  125. "Are you going to-"
  126. >"Oh yes, yes I am, sorry about that, have a goodnight."
  127. >You watched the girl walk down the hall, out of your view, but you stayed there in the doorway until you heard the elevator doors open and close.
  128. -
  129. >After you were certainly what ranger was gone, you went back inside, and luckily your medication was kicking because once you reached bed, it was lights out.
  130.
  131. >(P.O.V: Charlie)
  132. >You found her
  133. >Your target
  134. >Stacy wasn't it?
  135. >Aside from the dream ritual, you'd also taken up another hobby, stalking.
  136. >You decide Stacy would be good thanks to how close she was to Anon (in location)
  137. >And also, you felt like making her pay for what she put your Anon through
  138. >Oh did you have plans
  139. >Even if it meant not being able to catch Anon tonight, or a few nights.
  140. >Now, you just had to wait, wait for the right moment to swoop in and strike.
  141. >You thought out when the times to do it would be as you disappeared in the middle of parking lot back to the hotel.
  142.
  143. And that'a it for part 6. Pastbro, you can do the thing now.
  144. And as always, have a good night everyone.
