  7. The Infernal makes a slashing gesture with her weapon, and it vanishes. At any point thereafter she can cause it to appear in her hand for a brief moment, allowing her to attack with it before it disappears again. Using this Charm makes it impossible to disarm the Infernal or otherwise interfere with her weapon except on the tick she attacks. However, her weapon only appears in her hand in response to a killing intent, making it impossible to parry with it except on those ticks.

This Charm supplements a decisive attack made with any Ability, making it deal aggravated damage to spirits and allowing it to permanently kill beings such as gods that are capable of reforming after death. Emerald light flares out of the wounds the Infernal inflicts on a spirit with this Charm, invigorating her and renewing her fury. This adds the spirit’s new wound penalty to her base Initiative as she resets. Killing a spirit increases her base Initiative by (4 + the spirit’s Essence)

This use of Wind-Born Stride lasts for one hour (although it grants no special ability to run for hours at a time).

Dangerous surfaces such as lava will not harm her as long as she runs across them. At Essence 3+ the Infernal is immune to all environmental hazards and similar dangers while she runs, allowing her to sprint unharmed through a bonfire or cloud of toxic gas.

If she succeeds on her (Dexterity + Athletics) roll, her attack is considered a surprise attack. The Infernal can only use this Charm on the turn she comes into close range of her target.

Flesh-Flensing Barrage’s effect can be stacked against the same target up to (Infernal’s Essence or 3, whichever is greater) times.
