LUNA: Nothing, Odin... It's just that I got a little lonely standing out here by myself.

ODIN: Lonely?

LUNA: Yeah.

ODIN: What has struck you with such pangs of solitude?

LUNA: It's not something I can talk about too loudly, but like... remember our distant hometown? I miss it... like, I think I might be homesick...

ODIN: Homesick...

LUNA: You've never felt that way?

ODIN: I'm alright for now.

LUNA: You make me jealous... Ugh, how can I make myself feel better?

ODIN: ... It can't be helped. I'll have to use "that."

LUNA: Hm? Did you say something?

ODIN: Uh, no...

ODIN: You're looking better today.

LUNA: Yeah, I don't feel so lonely anymore. I dreamt about some of my old friends.

ODIN: Did you? What sort of dream was it?

LUNA: We were at a hot spring... maybe it was one I've been to before... My hair was dyed, and I was dressed in a cute yukata...

ODIN: Oh...?

LUNA: And you were there to.

ODIN: And how was I?

LUNA: Hm... I think... you were wearing a yukata too, and you were trying to act cool the way you always are... but the weird thing is, you actually were kinda cool in my dream...

ODIN: Fufu... It's only natural... or maybe I idealized myself a bit too much...

LUNA: Huh? What was that?

ODIN: Uh... it's nothing... At any rate, I am relieved to know you have been freed from the chains of solitude.

LUNA: No, I'm not exactly free just yet. I still feel a little lonely inside.

ODIN: Really... then I'll have to do it again tonight...

[scene change]

LUNA: Zzz...

ODIN: Luna? Are you awake? Alright, confirmed a lack of response. She's sleeping like a log. Now, I'll give you another sweet dream tonight with this masterpiece of a curse, "Dream Playwright", and truly free you from the chains of solitude.... This time, yes... I'll make it a dream about a harvest festival... And at the end of the festival, I'll show off my newest curse, and get crowned as supreme ruler of the world... Oh yeah, that sounds nice. Let's get started... oh black beast lurking in the corners of the subconscious... lend me your power...

LUNA: Odin, I'm not mad, so be honest with me here.

ODIN: ... What is it?

LUNA: You've been sneaking into my room, havne't you?

ODIN: Huh!? I-I would never-

LUNA: Then what's with this piece of paper? The one that says "Notes on a new Curse"? I found it with some nasty-looking weeds next to my pillow. Who else but you would be waltzing around with this weird plant and stupid note?

ODIN: U-Urgh...

LUNA: Did you do something while I was sleeping!? If you did something weird to me, you're seriously gonna pay!

ODIN: N-No! I did nothing fo the sort!!

LUNA: Then what did you do!? If you don't come clean I'm gonna tell everyone about you!

ODIN: O-Okay, I'll confess. I... made you have good dreams...

LUNA: ... What?

ODIN: How did you feel the morning you found that paper? You felt rested, didn't you?

LUNA: W-Well yeah, I dreamt about being with everyone from before again.

ODIN: What was it about? A harvest festival?

LUNA: Y-Yeah... how did you know?

ODIN: I breathed that dream into you. I wanted you to free you from your loneliness, so I manipulated your dreams from your bedside.

LUNA: Wh-What? You can do that?

ODIN: Hah... That wasn't the first time. The time before was my doing too. It's an easy matter for someone with magic powers like mine. I just had to clench this plant in my hand, and whisper the contents of the dream into your ear over and over.

LUNA: That just raises even more questions, but that does make sense... in both of those dreams, I thought you were unusually cool for some reason... and when you showed off your new curse at the harvest festival, everyone acknowledged your powers and crowned as the supreme ruler of the world...

ODIN: Isn't that great? I wish I could have that dream too.

LUNA: This is all really stupid, but it does sound like the truth... Well, I'll let you off the hook for now. You did rack your mind for ways to help me out, at least. But, no more messing with my dreams without my permission. And no more glorifying yourself. I'm holding you to that, got it?

ODIN: G-Got it... that was the fun part, though...

ODIN: You've come, Luna. I've been waiting for you.

LUNA: W-what is it? why do you need me out here...?

ODIN: This may be sudden, but I need to make something clear to you.

LUNA: Okay, what?

ODIN: I want you to marry me.

LUNA: Excuse me?

ODIN: This morning, as I awoke, my heart was unable to sit still. It has fallen victim to your incredible charms. It was then that I realized, I wanted to marry you.

LUNA: ... H-huh...? I just wanted to get my payback by whispering some impossible things into Odin's ear while he was asleep... did it actually work...? All I did was do the same thing he did to me...

ODIN: Luna? What's wrong?

LUNA: N-nothing.

ODIN: Well then, I prepared an amazing ring for you. Here, take it.

LUNA: F-fine, I will! I hope you're happy!

ODIN: Will you...? There would be no greater joy in the world... Y-you wouldn't by any chance, be in love with me too, would you?

LUNA: Wha...!? Th-that's not how it is! It's just... I'm taking responsibility for you!

ODIN: You'll take responsibility?

LUNA: No... it's nothing. That just kinda slipped out of my mouth.

ODIN: I-if you're just marrying me out of pity, then you don't have to... I'll fall into a slump... but after three days and three nights curled up in the pitch-black darkness of my tent, I'll be back to normal...

LUNA: What the heck's that supposed to mean? You're really creeping me out.

ODIN: SHOCK! Don't call me creepy...

LUNA: I... I'm not marrying you out of pity or anything. I... I l-like you too.

ODIN: Huh?

LUNA: Don't make me repeat myself, idiot! I said, I like you too!

ODIN: Really!?

LUNA: Yeah... we've been together since long before we arrived here... I know you're a good guy...

ODIN: I see... Thanks, Luna!

LUNA: We've been through a lot up until now, but I know we'll be happy together.

ODIN: Yeah, of course we will. I'll make sure of it!
