February 2015 Screencap Contest

So we are judging both January and February this time. Let's start with January.

January's theme was Anything Goes. I went back and forth between CKid's shots and this one for quite a while. I really like the composition of this shot, how the two ships are seemingly facing off. The angle gives a sense of speed and the lighting looks nice.

February's theme was Green. This one was also tough. Did you see Aesar's shot?! In the end, I just kept coming back to one in particular. The green beam.. on a subtly green backround.. complimented with the yellows and purples. The whole thing just sung to me.
