Name: Emma Miller

Birthday: July 4th.  Your parents were patriotic, and summer babies made more sense than winter ones since she lives on a very old-fashioned farm, and that's when food is more plentiful.

Handle: unhingedSurrogate (US).  She's aware of the irony, but didn't realize it until after the fact.  Too late to change it now.

Personality: Kind of bitter and sarcastic, she means well, but can come off as harsh to people just because it's really, really hard for her to relate to their petty problems.  Secretly is pretty self-conscious and just wants to make friends but lacks the energy to make that work all the time.  As a result, she spends a lot of time doing her own things or working.  Her interests mostly include indulging in nostalgic things -- old movies, books, and games -- and especially in fan projects relating to them, such as old game hacks or fanart creations, and she's actually quite good, but lacks the time or the self-confidence to do much with it.

How do they feel about their friends?: Likes them quite a bit, but doesn't show it well.  Is very worried that they dislike her.

Things they absolutely hate doing:  Farming.  But considering that's what she has to do to live, she deals with it.  Since she lives in the country, she's also very annoyed with her constant, finnicky internet as well.

Color: #f7dc6f (a slightly pale yellow)

Guardian: Her (male) double cousin.  What's a double cousin, you ask?  Well, it's when your father is his uncle and your mother is his aunt, and not in a legal sense, in a biological one too.  You hate explaining this, and you hate having to insist that there's nothing incestuous about it even more.  Since you grew up in a small farming community, it merely made sense to share property with your families, leading to very complicated family structures as love and/or lust was privvy to happen.  Unfortunately, the rest of your family is now dead from a fire that engulfed the house, leaving you with your double cousin as your closest living relative, sharing 25% of your DNA.

...You hate having to explain that even more.

What your character wants most: Probably for that fire to have never happened.  That would've been nice.

Musical Instrument: Emma spends way too long using Lunar Magic to create Super Mario World romhacks.  Many of these romhacks are automatic in nature, synching the sounds of the game to some external music source.  She figures, in a way, this counts as an instrument.  Maybe you will too?

First thing to pop into their head when thinking of something LOUD: A truck engine exploding and the subsequent fire as a result.

Strife Specibus:  scytheKind.  Everyone else thinks scythes are these awesome edgelord weapons, but you see them for what they really are:  Dumb stupid grass cutting things.  Stupid scythes.  You had it allocated at a very young age because that was what helps out around the farm, and now you're stuck with it.  Around the house are various grim reapers, put there as an attempt by your late parents to encourage you to be more optimistic about stupid dumb grass cutting.  They do make you feel oddly nostalgic, but considering that they are now dead, irony can be very cruel sometimes.
