Event Synopsis: Within Leaf's intelligence facilities, the newly minted Seventh Hokage has been conducting various searches about the lands with the full might of Konohagakure's modern prosperity in wealth and resources under his affixable diligence and effort. With his ANBU's proceeds the Leaf has narrowed in from multiple different accounts the location of he desecrated ruins of Kikyō and what appears to be a rogue ninja grouping of former assorted jounin carried under the influence of a fallen "spirit's" flesh and worshipping it as some sort of god fallen from the stars.

The reports tell of feral, almost hound-like men bubbling in a light of chakra unseen and unbridled enough to kill or seriously maim and rob the belongings of all that pass it by. Sending his elite to fully explore the intriguing possibility of this being connected to the mythical beasts that roamed these lands in ancient times and understanding what it could mean for the Leaf to catch one of it's own in modernity, Hitsei is onboard with whatever means necessary to retrieve the developments from this S-Rank mission.

Objective(s): Capture the rogue jounin afflicted by this 'curse' so that the Hokage can extract the corrupted essence from them and see just what exactly the Leaf is now working with and if it can be fruitful in the world as it is now.
