  1. [23:11] Geztelle ven Pelleaux asks, "Are either of you free, misters Soleis?"
  2. [23:11] Emil Soleis says, "We're mostly free, probably."
  3. [23:11] Aleister Soleis asks, "Need something?"
  4. [23:12] Geztelle ven Pelleaux asks, "I was hoping to go out and explore... but I think it would be unwise to do so alone. Do you two know the lay of the land?"
  5. [23:12] Aleister Soleis says, "Emil, here is very good at that."
  6. [23:13] Emil Soleis says, "Not so much, but I'll add up to the company."
  7. [23:13] Aleister Soleis says, "She can help."
  8. [23:13] Aleister Soleis says, "I mean he, heh."
  9. [23:14] Geztelle ven Pelleaux says, "Mm. I'm also looking to speak to the Fireblooded sect, if either of you are familiar with them."
  10. [23:14] Emil Soleis says, "I've not met with them, but I'll accompany if you need it."
  11. [23:14] Geztelle ven Pelleaux says, "Very well. If either or both of you are willing to accompany, you may follow me."
  12. [23:15] Aleister Soleis says, "Go on ahead Emil."
  13. [23:15] Emil Soleis says, "Stay safe, Al."
  14. [23:16] Geztelle ven Pelleaux says, "Very well, let us see if we can find one more."
  15. [23:16] Aleister Soleis says, "Same lad."
  16. [23:16] Geztelle ven Pelleaux asks, "Are you preoccupied, Radiant?"
  17. [23:20] Emerald eyes sweep along to Cathrene, who is met with a curt, sharp nod -
  18.
  19. "A pleasure, then. I'm standing here... to stand here, I suppose?" It's a quiet tone - confident but subdued that chimes from beneath the hood. A large hand rises and waves the comment away dismissively.
  20.
  21. Any semblance of response is halted by the presence of the Stellus, who commands a short, respectful bow from the muscular stature of the Radiant.
  22.
  23. "Not if you require me, Stellus."
  24. (Cristole)
  25. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  26.
  27. [23:25] Geztelle's gaze shifts between both Cristole and Cathrene, before lingering upon the form of the Radiant. A soft smile adorning her features, offering a nod.
  28.
  29. "Only if you are otherwise not busy. I was hoping to go to the frozen north to meet with the Fireblooded sect. Or well... at least to establish communication with them of some sort."
  30.
  31. "While our faiths are different, I find it important to establish common ground and assume amiable relations. It would do no good to make too many enemies, and I'd rather we speak to them before an armed incident occurs."
  32.
  33. Given that there were proponents within Osrona who were showing aggression to outsiders, Geztelle saw it her duty to clear the mess. Stop a storm before it could fully mature, so to speak.
  34.
  35. "I have no doubt that Sae will shine upon us on this venture, and mutual understanding will be reached."
  36. (Geztelle ven Pelleaux)
  37. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  38.
  39. [23:26] Cathrene Allure says, "Agrias."
  40. [23:26] Agrias asks, "Mhm?"
  41. [23:26] Cathrene Allure asks, "Did you find any ingredients yet?"
  42. [23:28] Agrias says, "Ah, I did not."
  43. [23:28] Agrias says, "I apologize, Cathrene."
  44. [23:29] If that smile were reciprocated, it were not visible beneath the evening light; any semblance of response, emotional or otherwise, is concealed beneath a crust of porcelain and the shadow of a hood.
  45.
  46. "For you, Stellus, I shall see myself freed of any preoccupation," saccharine tones time, heavy steps drawing the towering stature of the Radiant forth. There's an eye to her company - a quick and cursory inspection, unimpressed, though not visibly - and no outright acknowledgement of the Knight.
  47.
  48. "While we departing immediately, Stellus?"
  49. (Cristole)
  50. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  51.
  52. [23:29] Cathrene Allure says, "Hm.."
  53. [23:29] Cathrene Allure says, "Well that's fine."
  54. [23:29] Cathrene Allure asks, "Want to follow me for now?"
  55. [23:31] Geztelle ven Pelleaux says, "Yes, I intend to depart now. It may prove to be a fruitless endeavor, but we shall see."
  56. [23:31] Agrias says, "Sure."
  57. [23:32] Cristole says, "As you wish, Stellus. You lead, and I will follow."
  58. [23:35] Xie would wave to emil and company
  59. (Xie Fujin)
  60. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  61.
  62. [23:36] His back still bruised, and now feeling a bit sore, he pressured his back to straighten it out as he let out a subtle groan. Brown hues scanned the area for a moment only to see more people had crowded the area, at this point, he wasn't too sure who to refer to. He noted the scowl given from the two in front of him towards the boy behind the tree.
  63.
  64. He'd first address Vasilis, "Of course.. I just wasn't all there.. I had some other preoccupations that obscured my memory a bit. I apologize if me not recognizing you right away way upsetting. I'm Zagreus by the way, pleasure." scratching his head, he'd laugh nervously as he responded.
  65.
  66. He then made his way towards the boy, extending out his arm for a shake, "How's it going? Like I mentioned before, I'm Zagreus!" he exclaimed, giving the boy a warm smile. Something about the boy was somewhat.. familiar. He empathized with him in ways only he could know, just from his lack of confidence.
  67. (Zagreus)
  68. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  69.
  70. [23:36] Duniya Hintze says, "Wh-what a gathering..."
  71. [23:38] While Geztelle wasn't quite to the frozen north yet... she couldn't simply walk by the large gathering of people without a word. Stopping suddenly in her tracks, offering a smile to all those before her.
  72.
  73. "Greetings, it is a beautiful day, isn't it?"
  74.
  75. A slight tilt of her head, her tone soft, albeit slightly high pitched. Clasping her hands together, before resting them atop her midriff.
  76.
  77. "I am Geztelle ven Pelleaux, the Stellus of Osrona. I was on my way to the Fireblooded temple, if any of you could point me in the right direction?"
  78.
  79. "It would be greatly appreciated, I assure you."
  80. (Geztelle ven Pelleaux)
  81. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  82.
  83. [23:39] Zagreus says, "Oh, it's just north of here miss."
  84. [23:40] Those glares, those are what he expected to see from anyone that might have met members of the Beastkin. He doesn't know of their experiences with the other beastkins, but he was at least trying to show the least amount of hostility. Ears are folded down, tail between his legs, it was evident he's not the kind of beastkin they might have met, until now. His odd colored eyes shifted from one glare to the next, staring at them, an then he had his left hand over his right bicep.
  85.
  86. They can tell he is a survivor, not because he was alone, but his pant leg looked burned and there was a deep wound that had been recently cauterized. "I guess... you have experiences from the people from... Moxtli..." That was the only thing that he could think of, as they glared at him that way. The teenage kitsune was trying to make them see him in a better light though, to not give everyone a bad taste of Beastkin.
  87.
  88. "My name is Kalti, and... I'm a travelling dancer." He said to them all, trying to show that he's nothing like the beastkin from Moxtli. Then a hand was extended, and he reached back, to give the hand a small shake, and looked around a little bit more. And even more people were starting to show u, now, and that's when he felt his nerves on high. He might be a dancer, but he was still nervous about greeting so many people at once.
  89.
  90. "It's um... n-nice to meet you all?" He asked them all, standing to the side, to give them all some room to move around freely.
  91. (Kalti Fonix)
  92. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  93.
  94. [23:41] The Radiant stands tall - a firm stature to accompany his Stellus, any semblance of expression concealed beneath porcelain and hood. His gait is a rigid one - stiff and unyielding, and firm beside the cerulean-haired woman.
  95.
  96. There's not a peep from him. Not a single utterance. He stands tall as a bulwark and no more, fingers never straying too far from a blade, body never straying away.
  97.
  98. There's a curt nod and no more.
  99. (Cristole)
  100. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  101.
  102. [23:42] He had paused on his journey when he came upon the gathering of whatever happened to be going on. But his pausing quickly forced a grimace across his countenance when the Stellus introduced herself. There's a glance towards Neoni as well, recognizing him.
  103.
  104. Ryker, initially, had plans to simply continue up the mountain unimpeded and on his way, escaping whatever clusterfuck was sure to explode at this point. But seeing an ally left him with no true choice, didn't it? The Docro allowed a rough groan to escape him before he'd casually stroll forward to take up a position next to Neoni for backup if nothing else.
  105. (Ryker pyr Docro)
  106. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  107.
  108. [23:42] Just idly standing by and listening to the Drakanite and their companions speak...this peace would be interrupted by three apparent Osronans approaching from the South.
  109.
  110. "Well this just gets more interesting by the second doesn't it?" The question was more or less directed towards himself it seems.
  111.
  112. A step off to the side was taken and he'd face the trio head-on. "Now, the only question left is what do I do with you all..."
  113. (Neoni Faudain)
  114. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  115.
  116. [23:43] Kalti Fonix says, "<Are they... really going to fight?>"
  117. [23:43] He'd come to observe the movement of Zagreus, the views stationary as he introduced himself. The words that then spewed out would have immediately began to tug into his own thoughts, one simmering on to This man speaks entirely to much.. Just that action alone began to annoy him, though he made his facial expression stoic so one could not tell.
  118.
  119. "..Zagreus, same."
  120.
  121. The words lacked any real emotion, and his attention would begin to wane back over to Xie Fujin. "...Xie Fujin. I will remember that name."
  122.
  123. He listened towards Kalti, as he heard the statement-- No words would come. Instead he would hear the words of the-- Stellus was it? Osronans all the way here? It was a curious thing to hear. So he would take it as he began to make his way to the east and before them.
  124.
  125. "Im part of the Fireblooded. I can escort you and you... Convoy."
  126.
  127. He stated for a lack of better words, as the views shifted amongst them. They would have a reason to come here after all-- it is quite the travel.
  128.
  129. "Have you sent any formal letter addressing your arrival, or are you here on an impromptu meeting?" He questioned, this being more of a curiosity then anything else.
  130. (Vasilis Reigns)
  131. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  132.
  133. [23:43] Light, just about out of energy, walked down the mountain to a very uniquely looking scene, it didn't matter to him though. Ignoring the chatter he heard he walked up to the familiar faces he recognized from the ceremony in the temple.
  134. (Light Suzu)
  135. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  136.
  137. [23:44] Arriving at the scene, the masked teen quickly takes in the sight of his small friend near a large group of people. With an amused smile on his face, he doesn't think much before just floating to their side and giving them a light tap on the shoulder as a greeting.
  138. (Bell)
  139. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  140.
  141. [23:44] Light Suzu asks, "Anyone here by the name of Duniya?"
  142. [23:44] Fujin would focus on the stellus for a moment as she spoke.
  143.
  144. "Theria is just up the slope. Just keep heading northward and you'll end up there in no time."
  145.
  146. A short nod is given to her now before glancing at the now growing number of people.
  147.
  148. "I did not expect this many people to arrive just from our spar Zag."
  149.
  150. They always seemed to attract a lot of people without any intention of doing so...
  151. (Xie Fujin)
  152. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  153.
  154. [23:49] Duniya Hintze says, "Ah yes... th-that's me."
  155. [23:49] Geztelle's gaze shifts from one to the next, before lingering upon the gaze of Neoni. An unfamiliar figure, though she is not at all hostile or outright rude.
  156.
  157. "Greetings, sir."
  158.
  159. Remaining in a soft, amiable tone. Despite Cristole's defensive posture, she appears wide open and warm, welcoming even.
  160.
  161. Her gaze does seem to linger upon the magitech, however, tilting her head to the side slightly.
  162.
  163. "I take it you are from Achyon? I've always wished to meet someone from Barsburg, and it seems now I have the honor."
  164.
  165. Even if their people had fought in the past, the Stellus was known far and wide for her mercy and kindness. She would not let the actions of her predecessors define the relationships with strangers.
  166.
  167. "It seems that Lyzel is certainly smiling upon me this day. I had only hoped to meet with officials of the Fireblooded temple, but perhaps you are an official of Achyon? I'd be more than happy to speak with you, if so."
  168. (Geztelle ven Pelleaux)
  169. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  170.
  171. [23:50] Light Suzu says, "Ah, i am Light, nice to meet you. I read your sign on the board up there on the entrance to Garljing's Coat, i was hoping to see what it is you can build for me."
  172. [23:51] Duniya Hintze asks, "S-Sure. Brother... do you want to stay a-a-and watch the... riveting politics before us, or is it your desire to come along with?"
  173. [23:51] Varceal Vartuul says, "...."
  174. [23:51] Kuro T. Hintze says, "I'll go with. I don't know what is going on here."
  175. [23:51] Kuro T. Hintze says, "Too many people."
  176. [23:51] Duniya Hintze says, "Okay. C-Come along with me, mister Light."
  177. [23:52] As the young teen fallows her friend. Her glair still fixed on the fox, only momentarily wavering periodically to glance at the floating individual near them.
  178. (Cai Baskervilles)
  179. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  180.
  181. [23:52] The crowd now being entirely too much too listen to, it was beginning to ring his ears. It was becoming a little overwhelming and it was starting to become a bit of an annoyance. He didn't utter another word to anyone except a subtle wave towards the small boy he'd extended his hand to.
  182.
  183. He made his way out of the cluster of people was Fujin in tow.
  184. (Zagreus)
  185. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  186.
  187. [23:54] Great. It was truly his luck that not only did they run into differing groups but now the Stellus, instead of desiring to head up to that Temple, wanted to speak to Neoni. Or perhaps just any official. Ryker's previously pocketed hand withdrew a piece of candy on a stick: a lollipop. The youngest Docro took his precious time slowly unwrapping it before the used thing was unceremoniously shoved into his pocket.
  188.
  189. Likewise, the service cap he had taken off during his foray around Esshar was placed upon the messy mop of purple and lilac hair, signifying then and there that Neoni was not the only one from Achyon currently present. Geztelle's mention of Lyzel smiling down upon her brought an unsubtle cringe to his visage before he scoffed.
  190.
  191. "Why do you want to speak to an official from Achyon, lady?" Came the eventual question from the teen before the candy was shoved between his lips to be savored, as always.
  192. (Ryker pyr Docro)
  193. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  194.
  195. [23:54] Varceal Vartuul says, "Oh - hello dezmond I didn't even notice you there..- who's this lot hanging at the bottom of our moutain.."
  196. [23:55] Fujin would watch the interaction between the Stellus and the Achyonites. Watchful eyes shift between the two before following suit with Zagreus.
  197.
  198. "Let's be off then I suppose."
  199. (Xie Fujin)
  200. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  201.
  202. [23:55] The woman's reputation precedes her. To think that an Osronan would be this kind and open to someone from Achyon --it really wasn't expected.
  203.
  204. His gaze tracked hers and as she guesses where he's from, he nods his head. "Sharp eye Stellus, though I'm not sure that Lyzel is smiling upon you in this moment." he starts, the massive rifle becoming loose from its holster in a mere moment. "Otherwise, he would've have allowed us to cross paths."
  205.
  206. The tip of the gun finds its way into the ground and he leans into the weapon casually, his hand around the grip and his finger tapping the trigger ever so gently. "There's nothing for is to talk about Ryker, unless they've come to discuss a surrender then I'm all ears."
  207. (Neoni Faudain)
  208. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  209.
  210. [23:55] Dezmond Graves says, "Don't know, just watching, they were headed to the temple so I figure its for you."
  211. [23:55] And there it was...
  212.
  213. A mild irritation that had crossed his features as one of the other leaders from another city would have taken his attention. He would more so be staring straight down at the man who was right before him, his thoughts would have been lingering to the amount of disrespect he was feeling from both parties at this moment.
  214.
  215. How easy it would have been to bring a blade down and cleave right into him.
  216.
  217. Although he knew that such impulsive thoughts would only lead to problems in the future, and in this case immediate future. He did not want to be the cause of any wars or battles; on the contrary even if he would have made some decent coin in such an foray.
  218.
  219. Instead he just narrowed his gaze towards both the Stellus and one of the officers of Archyon. Not hiding his own irritation to being ignored.
  220. (Vasilis Reigns)
  221. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  222.
  223. [23:55] Ryker pyr Docro says, "Could you imagine the newspaper? Us getting them to surrender? Music to my ears, Neoni."
  224. [23:56] With the arrival of a friend, he was looking towards Bell, now and waving to him. With all these glares on him, he was feeling a little less safe around the place as he can feel the daggers tossed at him with eyes, alone. Once Bell was floating right beside him, he was just getting a little bit closer, lowering his voice a little bit.
  225.
  226. "I... think we should go some place else... far from here." He said to Bell, thinking it was best for him to be away from the people that looked ready to skin off his tail.
  227. (Kalti Fonix)
  228. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  229.
  230. [23:57] Bell nods his head and proceeds to leave this place with his friend without hesitation. No need to stay in this cluster.
  231. (Bell)
  232. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  233.
  234. [23:57] From beneath fabric and mask does a kissing of teeth sound, and at Ryker's utterance do fingers hook upon the hilt of his blade, white hot in their fervent, unrelenting hold.
  235.
  236. Emerald eyes shimmer from those small slits, and a singular step presents him as bulwark between Stellus and Archyon officials.
  237.
  238. "No need to be unwise," he warns, gruff confident ebbing from each spoken word. The Radiant does not shy, though mayhaps they ought to have -
  239.
  240. Where Geztelle is set forth as a gentle spirit, he is anything but, quick to arise to formidable odds and quicker yet to draw a blade for his own, though steel does not yet leave sheath, and hostility is not yet bestowed upon the assembly afore him.
  241.
  242. "Choose well and choose wisely. Impudence will have no place here."
  243. (Cristole)
  244. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  245.
  246. [23:57] Neoni Faudain says, "That'd definitely make for an interesting read."
  247. [23:57] Ryker pyr Docro exclaims, "Ayla would ask for MY interview again too!"
  248. [23:58] Varceal Vartuul says, "Oh- is this a show then.."
  249. [23:58] Varceal Vartuul says, "Will you tear at eachothers throats like wolves.."
  250. [23:58] Vasilis Reigns says, ".. Originally the Stellus over there was coming to visit the Fireblooded temple, or I suppose to speak to you. "
  251. [23:59] Dezmond Graves says, "MHm.."
  252.
  253. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  254. [00:00] "You would show undue aggression towards an individual you know nothing of for mere reason of birthplace?"
  255.
  256. Geztelle tilts her head to the slightly, perplexed. It seemed like something her mind could.. never formulate. Attacking.. fighting. It was like a far off, foreign concept to the Pelleaux, a woman who only cared for her people and their wellbeing.
  257.
  258. Upon seeing him draw his weapon, her own hands simply fall to her side... as she is completely unarmed.
  259.
  260. "I was simply hoping to speak with the Dragonlords of Theria on friendly terms, not fight someone who I have no issues with. I wish for peace upon Esshar, and find it foolish to pursue the wars of our ancestors."
  261.
  262. "If you find pleasure in beating an unarmed woman who has done your people no harm, be my guest."
  263.
  264. That smile falters momentarily, as she shakes her head.
  265.
  266. "The choice is yours, friends."
  267. (Geztelle ven Pelleaux)
  268. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  269.
  270. [00:05] Shrugging he didn't care what they did, they fight each other but it was whatever. Once Varceal made up his mind he had no real choice but to swing, if it got to that anyway.
  271.
  272. The man takes another drag from his herb, he believes that there was nothing more than smoke being spewed. Would the prove otherwise to him?
  273.
  274. "We got any tasks?" He asks Varceal.
  275. (Dezmond Graves)
  276. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  277.
  278. [00:10] So this is their enemy.. - these other humans, with the uniforms and.. Osronian nobles, not that it mattered - but to claim a life without the will to fight is just.. sad honestly the fight wouldn't be respected..
  279.
  280. It wouldn't be honor just violence … almost senseless if it wasn't for political gains. A finger comes moves up to curl upon the chin of the drakanite as he thinks about what could he do in this situation.
  281.
  282. No doubt tonak himself wouldn't like the spilling of blood upon - soil so close to his own place and even then would it even be a fight... "Do you not have a warrior ma'am to fight for you - for your honor...We here at this temple enjoy bouts of honor...you know this to be true.."
  283.
  284.
  285. "Crush your enemies and your problems will go away.. - you understand this right." he says.
  286.
  287. But he would understand if she didn't want to see a fight her self - so he would wait for her to answer before makinghis next moves.
  288. (Varceal Vartuul)
  289. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  290.
  291. [00:10] "Pleasure...aggression --both foreign concepts to me really; I just know that eventually, you'll all be in our way and to be rid of you now will increase our chances of victory later on." It was a simple choice really.
  292.
  293. The entire time he spoke, his eyes were locked onto the man in front of him. His gaze was cold and seemingly empty, scanning for any weaknesses and opportunities in Cristole's movements. "He's good." the man idly remarks, but that wouldn't stop his next set of actions.
  294.
  295. With the tip of his rifle pointing towards the ground, he'd quickly bring the barrel of the massive weapon up, swinging it across the Radiant's body in an attempt to push him away before lining up a proper shot. "So...I'll start with you." And thus his assault would begin and he'd aim to bring the man down swiftly.
  296. (Neoni Faudain)
  297. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  298.
  299. [00:18] Dezmond Graves whispers something.
  300. [00:19] Varceal Vartuul whispers something.
  301. [00:19] Had he said something to offend? Though there was a lollipop in his mouth, a smile did eventually blossom against his lips at Cristole's near immediate reaction at protecting his precious Stellus.
  302.
  303. "Cute. Adorable even!" He declared towards the Radiant's words and actions. Now he glanced towards Neoni at his side, not making a singular move quite yet. How many times had he come close to getting someone to slug him only for the other party to pull away at the last minute? It had been a barrel of disappointments one after another. But this? "Is your little hero going to protect you lady, is that it? Look at that hero go, honestly!" Ryker added, his tone just a touch too glib even for him typically.
  304.
  305. With Neoni's movement, Ryker had his own opportunity handed to him upon a silver platter. There was a not-so-subtle glance paid to the Knight on the other side of the Stellus. It would have been foolish to assume they wouldn't have stepped in to protect the supposedly unarmed Stellus. But his sword was withdrawn regardless and his aim was none other than the Stellus herself.
  306.
  307. How many times today had he ranted on the failings of those who preached to deities they'd never even spoken to, much less seen? Now was his chance and he'd be a fool not to attempt it, even if Emil aimed to block it.
  308. (Ryker pyr Docro)
  309. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  310.
  311. [00:19] Dezmond Graves whispers something.
  312. [00:21] The riposte is quick -
  313.
  314. A sudden flash of glimmer on steel as the sweep of the sharpened article catches looming moonlight, and the barrel of the weapon is hurtled summarily out of sights of his cranium. A pivot and hefty shove flings the Stellus away - roughly - and hasty footwork whips him five steps in retreat, allowing suitable distance between them.
  315.
  316. Two officials of Achyon affront, a Stellus and a Knight behind, and a Radiant of the Second Dawn planted firmly and fearlessly between. There's a rocking of his head upon his shoulders, and a rock of his wrist, serrated tip trained toward the forehead of Neoni.
  317.
  318.
  319. "This would be an tremendous miscalculation on your part, mind," the Radiant warns, a thick flow of mana ebbing around him. Any outright, innate command of magic if concealed in favour of this subdued display. "If you fail to capture me here your life is assuredly forfeit.
  320.
  321. The Stellus came for peace. Please - don't makeme spill your blood in light of good intentions."
  322. (Cristole)
  323. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  324.
  325. [00:24] Varceal Vartuul says, "As long as both parties agree to duel - than there is no problem..."
  326. [00:24] Moving once more to stand beside the Dragonlord, he exhales thinking about what exactly this would evolve into. It seems they were just chatting at this point. He did however want to know what stirred the pot like this in this manner. He was certain they were only after evolution, but what was this bout with osrona about?
  327.
  328. Before he was frozen, they were usurped by a man whom he couldn't remember.
  329.
  330. Yes, literally frozen.
  331.
  332. "Agreement is law.
  333.
  334. However,
  335.
  336. Deny it and you will be looked down upon." He shrugs, that's just him personally. He always accepted a bout. He wasn't the strongest, but he felt like it at times.
  337. (Dezmond Graves)
  338. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  339.
  340. [00:30] To beat down an unarmed woman is something that cannot be accepted in the sight of Emil, and his duty was not to accompany and simply watch, but rather to perform the acts of a Knight of the Order.
  341.
  342. "You won't be harming the woman nor anyone who comes to you unarmed and with no intention of hostility." The shimmering spectrum dazzling around him was not only for show - But to empower the blade that would soon be unsheathed.
  343.
  344. And not even tens, but hundreds of golden swords would be manifested through the young man's mana of bright light, each with its' tip pointed towards Ryker; let he dare to rush for the Stellus.
  345.
  346. "You will have to go through me." Oddly enough, he smiled, a strange personality to show an enemy.
  347. (Emil Soleis)
  348. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  349.
  350. [00:34] "Very well. I will accept this honor duel, to the both of you. However, Emil Soleis and Radiant Cristole shall serve as my champions."
  351.
  352. Geztelle was not unfamiliar with how honor duels worked. Whether or not they still pushed to attack her afterwards would be of their own volition... but could be seen as dishonorable to others.
  353.
  354. She did not feel good about this at all in the slightest, moving off to the side to stand beside Varceal. An unfamiliar figure, but she could quickly deduce that he was in fact a dragonlord.
  355.
  356. A few words muttered, as she stares on with a worried expression.
  357. (Geztelle ven Pelleaux)
  358. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  359.
  360. [00:42] Light Suzu says, "wats the code"
  361. [00:42] And so their battle began, a clash between weapons and magic alike. A sheet of silver mana enshrouded Neoni's form as he moved to follow up on his initial strike.
  362.
  363. Ironically, the sniper-rifle that he carried around with him was used more as a heavy, blunt weapon than an actual long ranged tool. His inhuman strength allowed him to whip the thing around as if it were weightless and he'd bash Cristole around.
  364.
  365. Surprisingly, the man actually managed to push back somewhat. Golden orbs rained upon the Faudain's form and he actually felt pain whenever his sword connected. "Stronger than the majority --but not enough I'm afraid."
  366.
  367. Turning on his heel, he'd whip the gun around one final time and knocked the Radiant eastward. There's only be a brief reprieve before he gave chase.
  368. (Neoni Faudain)
  369. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  370.
  371. [00:50] Their engagement is a vicious one, and in no time at all do they find themselves twined in metal and magic, a maelstrom of energy that never seemed to relent.
  372.
  373. The haughty crack of the rifle startled him five times too many, though those efforts were not without reparation, for each cleave of his blade laces emerald with scarlet, and mars the earth with bloody turmoil.
  374.
  375. Battered back, lips part beneath the mask, porcelain laced with a single crack from one corner to the next. Digits hook it and hurl it, exposing the handsome, sharp, youthful countenance beneath -
  376.
  377. Far too young to command a seat upon the Council. Far too young to proclaim the title of Radiant.
  378.
  379. Yet he does not shy, emerald orbs dead-set upon Neoni.
  380.
  381. "How quaint... does it satisfy you to boast strength you have not earned? That you have not bled for?" Lips pucker and spit a wad of phlegm and blood to the earth below.
  382.
  383. "It shouldn't."
  384.
  385. The blade is hefted, a sleek, perfect, undaunted horizon; always levelled with the nose. Swollen fingers wrap about and whip forth to clash steel.
  386.
  387. Their engagement begins anew.
  388. (Cristole)
  389. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  390.
  391. [00:53] As soon as Emil moved and that dazzling spectrum of light itself manifested itself around him to point those hundreds of blades towards him did Ryker just scoff.
  392.
  393. "Figures. You guys just HAVE to have it the hard way don't you?!" He practically demanded. The sword that had been aimed towards the Stellus now shifted by the virtue of a simple flick of his wrist towards the closest shimmering blade in proximity. "I'll do what I want and you of all people aren't going to tell me otherwise!" Came a follow up before Ryker perhaps foolishly so hurtled into the danger.
  394.
  395. Something about the Knight unnerved him. It wasn't the magic with which he wielded, no; that presented no outward problem to him whatsoever. It was that smile that he wore, seemingly having little issues smiling to an enemy of all people.
  396.
  397. "Stop SMILING!"
  398. (Ryker pyr Docro)
  399. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  400.
  401. [01:00] {Won Restrained RPB against Ryker pyr Docro}
  402. [01:01] "Boasting?" And here he thought he was playing nice by giving the enemy a compliment; maybe he needed to study them more after all?
  403.
  404. Regardless of what was said, as the man rushed forward once again he was met with Neoni's relentless assault. They exchanged blows nearly evenly --but one thing was made painfully clear; the longer the fight went on the more Cristole was at a disadvantage.
  405.
  406. Due to the nature of his being, Neoni's stamina was nearly unmatched. Where the Radiant begins to slouch, the Councilman straightens himself up. Admittedly, of all the people he's fought thus far --even among his own siblings, this man stood above them.
  407.
  408. The fight came to an when the Faudain slammed the barrel of his rifle against the back of Cristole's head, knocking him down to the ground. Wondering how the other fight was going...he'd look over to see how Ryker handled himself.
  409. (Neoni Faudain)
  410. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  411.
  412. [01:07] Yawning the man smiles as they go for broke. He figures there was nothing more to it than a display of power between powerful heads of each establishment. He was certai that whatever they came to speak of was of somewhat great importance.
  413.
  414. However, he did not care for their religious views or their principles, let alone their God. He was a bit inclined to lean toward those who built all they owned from scratch, it was better than tampering with real life. Also, he could respect it in the way he trained himself, from the bottom up.
  415.
  416. "I agree, that is the best route." He replies to Varceal aloud.
  417.
  418. It was certainly to draw the uncertainty in peoples minds. He wanted things chaotic.
  419. (Dezmond Graves)
  420. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  421.
  422. [01:09] Unlike Neoni's power level, Ryker was something Emil could handle almost easily; Their agility was... Troublesome to manage with those dodges, most of the golden swords missed him.
  423.
  424. "Oh dear, we've got a runner here." A small chuckle escaped his mouth as he watched the young boy's capabilities in combat, he was observing it even at the same time, he was throwing all kind of holy and light orbs flying at the teenager.
  425.
  426. Most of them were dodged successfully, but some of the smaller orbs eventually got caught up with Ryker, allowing one larger orb to knock his feet off the ground, sitting his bottom on the grass.
  427.
  428. "You need more training." He commented whilst sliding the blade back into the scabbard, the smile over his face was not broken at all, somehow.
  429. (Emil Soleis)
  430. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  431.
  432. [01:11] It is naught more than duty that guides his blade forth, from one vigorous sweep to the next; from the vicious lunges to the powerful cleaves, and every slash, swipe, and jab inbetween.
  433.
  434. It is stamina that separated them, and most things human; where tremendous strikes of steel unto steel rattled his muscles relentless, Neoni is granted no such agony. Where pain blurred any sense of rational cognizance, Neoni, likely, is granted no such hindrance.
  435.
  436. The mortal and artificial are incomparable, and in this bout, Neoni steals victory by a mile -
  437.
  438. The powerful blow upon his cranium whips him sideways, set to tumble in a mess of body and limb. There's a grow as disorientation sets in, and thick ebbs of crimson spew from the split flesh and cracked skull, obscuring the vision from one eye.
  439.
  440. He hustles to his feet, shakily, with the aid of his blade, a sharp inhale to steel himself, and wary eye toward the Stellus.
  441.
  442. Still alive. Still unscathed. That'd do.
  443. (Cristole)
  444. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  445.
  446. [01:19] The differences between Neoni and Ryker were akin to night and day, or perhaps something far more wider and imposing. But that didn't mean that Ryker didn't throw himself blindly against Emil, no. He had expected the Knight's interference, perhaps even welcomed it with open arms and a hot cup of tea ready for him. It was a challenge and Ryker at the very least enjoyed challenges.
  447.
  448. As he dived headfirst into those swords, dangerous as they were, his slippery ways were soon made apparent towards the Knight. The tiny Docro dodged and weaved through the swords with an uncanny precision about him, as if he had predicted the moves three steps ahead of when Emil even fired them.
  449.
  450. "Shut up maybe you could hit me if you actually focused!"
  451.
  452. But alas, great bouts always had to come to an end eventually and that was no different between Emil and Ryker's own battle. Whilst they didn't operate on the same level as Neoni and Cristole, it had been a lesson perhaps for the pair of them all the same. His movements slowed, a limitation of stamina no doubt, and that was when a few of the smaller orbs caught up to him.
  453.
  454. Those? He couldn't dodge, and as that final, larger one collided into him he tumbled back with absolutely no grace in his body. A large huff escaped his lips after a few silent seconds and he climbed back to his feet in disarray and most important of all, irritability. He had taunted him and perhaps that had been his ultimate downfall? The Docro set forth a squinted glare towards the Knight, making it incredibly well known that of either outcome this was, predictably, the one he was least pleased with. But his words made it seem as if he had won, strangely enough.
  455.
  456. "Okay you can fuck off now." His sight snapped to Neoni, curious if he'd make a move for the Stellus himself or not. Would Geztelle have her meeting in the end with the Dragonlords?
  457. (Ryker pyr Docro)
  458. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  459.
  460. [01:19] Orodyn remains naught intrusive. In fact, his presence can only be compared to that of a phantom. An eye between logs, merely contemplating the bouts go by with a serene variant of indifference. A gaze that in disguised cluelessness treads over his brother's silhouette, taking note his and the Stellus' low volume exchanges.
  461.
  462. A pair of amethysts narrow briefly, before they return to the Barsburgian crowd. One win, one loss. Uninterrupted fights.
  463.
  464. Honorable, to say the least.
  465.
  466. The godless machinists seemed hardened, to say the least. Enough so to put Cristovan at a clear disadvantage. Though incomparably younger, the bubblegum kitsune seems to land some swipes of his own upon the radiant.
  467.
  468. Weariness overtakes the Vartuul. He knows of their history. The twelve years of campaigning upnorth in hopes of keeping the Empire's threat out. Their way with words, their deceptive and imposing advance.
  469.
  470. He trusts them naught.
  471.
  472. The bloodied Drakanite's jaw tightens from anticipation.
  473. (Orodyn Vartuul)
  474. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  475.
  476. [01:24] With his opponent downed he'd look over to Ryker...and sadly, it looked as if the boy was beat down by the other Knight. It was hard to tell what the man was thinking most times, his gaze was often black and appeared soulless.
  477.
  478. A step towards Emil is taken, but, before he could advance, he pauses. He glanced back over his shoulder and his gaze narrowed. "Young Docro, we're leaving." he finally declared; it appears as if he saw something in the distance that interested him.
  479.
  480. "Maybe you were right, Stellus, perhaps you were being watched by some entity --but rest assured, it won't happen again." With that said he'd grab Ryker by the back of his shirt and sauntered off towards the South.
  481. (Neoni Faudain)
  482. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  483.
  484. [01:26] Neoni Faudain says, "Dragonlord, until next time."
  485. [01:26] He was snatched by the back of his shirt. The humanity.
  486.
  487. But! He certainly didn't see anything to object to in the face of leaving, but as he was dragged behind Neoni, there was a middle finger pointed upwards to the sky, no doubt directed at Emil himself.
  488. (Ryker pyr Docro)
  489. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  490.
  491. [01:29] Shrugging his shoulder he figures this was fate of some kind, perhaps he truly had to listen to what the Stellus had to say. Dezmond himself cared little, he enjoyed the combat. It was a sight to behold.
  492.
  493. He looks to the Dragonlord and then yawns, patting his mouth. He'd flick the roach onto the dirt and stomped it into the earth. He yawned now, waiting to be ordered to do something else.
  494.
  495. "Well, it was entertaining at least." He says lowly.
  496. (Dezmond Graves)
  497. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  498.
  499. [01:30] Emil squinted slightly when Neoni took a step forth, but then he was utterly confused when they decided to take a turn elsewhere to leave.
  500.
  501. "That was troublesome." He said with a sigh, his focus is now onto the Radiant who was bested by the Achyon, "Are you hurt, Radiant?" The Knight walked to his Radiant with a tad of worried look on his face.
  502.
  503. But under his worried look, he was relieved that the one being escorted by the two isn't touched at all by any threats.
  504.
  505. Unfortunately... Ryker's flip off situation was unseen by Emil... Since his focus was on the Radiant.
  506. (Emil Soleis)
  507. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  508.
  509. [01:30] Neoni Faudain whispers something.
  510. [01:31] Ryker pyr Docro whispers something.
  511. [01:32] With crossed arms the Vartuul would close his eyes, understanding the battles that he watched analyzing all of the movements and keeping note of what they utilized.
  512.
  513. "A good show he indeed, Some good fights but your fighting abilities are peculiar." he said answering Neoni.. "However I will not stop you from moving on - I am sure we will meet once again." He nodded.
  514.
  515.
  516. Than his head would turn to the other fighters. "You fought well and the fireblooded respects the ones who would not shy away from battle.. - good job to you as well, if you lost however let it burn within you and onto victory release that inferno in your last moments." He explained..
  517.
  518.
  519. Now to the noble he would share a gaze. "You wanted to speak with us, I am not sure if the other two dragonlords are awake but we shall see.. will you
  520. accompany me?"
  521.
  522. It only made sense to let both parties be heard - if there was something they wished from themhe was more then willing to hear out what they had to say - but the choice of joining either side was not up to one.. - and even then they were more incline to dealing with their own problems at the current.
  523. (Varceal Vartuul)
  524. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  525.
  526. [01:32] Light continued leaning on the rock formation behind him, arms folded into his cloak as he watched the entertainment, noting the strength shown by Neoni Faudain, and the Mouth of Ryker pyr Docro, which it wasn't the first time he had seen him be all talk. Light turned to his left, Listening to the words of his Dragonlord, seeking the guidance of the situation.
  527. (Light Suzu)
  528. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  529.
  530. [01:33] The Stellus simply watched on with a worried expression, knowing full well that Emil and Cristole were placing their lives on the line for the safety of their Stellus. It was not at all what she had intended for them, nor did she anticipate the outward aggression of Achyon.
  531.
  532. Perhaps it was simply her naivete, but she had full faith that people wouldn't lash out at those who they... barely knew.
  533.
  534. "If the Empire of Barsburg's intention is to aggress on anyone who is not themselves... I think this display proves nothing but the extent to which they will go."
  535.
  536. "Attacking those who wish for nothing but peace. It's us now, but who will be next I wonder? Who will be the next target of the Empire's unquenchable warmongering?"
  537.
  538. Geztelle's gaze flickers, before resting upon Varceal.
  539.
  540. "Only time will tell. But yes.. I am ready to meet, Dragonlord."
  541. (Geztelle ven Pelleaux)
  542. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  543.
  544. [01:34] Neoni Faudain says, "A surprising display of manipulation by the Stellus..."
  545. [01:34] Ryker pyr Docro says, "She sucks at it. It's fine."
  546. [01:35] The pale edge of fingertips trace the spot of impact, bloodied and matted, set upon by the butt of Neoni's weapon, and while he stands upright of his own volition, the wound oozes seemingly relentlessly. A mere touch stings, and draws apparent agony to his countenance -
  547.
  548. But he conceals it quickly enough, arm dropped to his side, bloodied digits set to the chill of his armour.
  549.
  550. He would meet Neoni upon the fields of battle once more. He knew that much.
  551.
  552. There's an eye to his Knight, and a singular, dismissive wave, despites unfocused eyes.
  553.
  554. "Nothing I won't overcome. You fought well."
  555.
  556. Quiet praise, accompanied by a delicate thump of his palm against Emil's bicep. He falls to the Stellus' side anew, fingertips clasped once more to the rigid hilt of his blade.
  557.
  558. Prepared to fight again, should circumstance command it, despite ailing condition.
  559. (Cristole)
  560. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  561.
  562. [01:35] As he unwrapped his gear he smiles handing it over to Duniya, he would certainly head out to do a job soon, this way he could give her some coin to better reward her. He was in-between about how this whole thing ended, but he did get to tag along to see what was needed of the Dragonlord. He moves from Duniya's side toward Varceal.
  563.
  564. "After you my Lord." He says to him specifically.
  565. (Dezmond Graves)
  566. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  567.
  568. [01:36] Light could be seen visibly staring at Ryker now, his shirt in the clutches of Neoni. Remembering how his family had treated outsiders at their residence, it is a wonder why he ended up in this situation - light thought to himself.
  569. (Light Suzu)
  570. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  571.
  572. [01:40] The shorter Vartuul's distaste, once all Barsburgian officers present had made their exit, is finally voiced out loud. He approaches the rest of the gathering, including the Stellus, Radiants, and his own brother, the Dragonlord.
  573.
  574. "Trust not a machinehead, you lot. They know nothing of honor. Their bouts and disputes are resolved with nothing but dirt and deceit cast."
  575.
  576. A brow furrowed, before he finally shows willing to accompany.
  577.
  578. "They're unlike us all, divinity means naught but a meager target. They'd go as far as to belittle us for it.
  579.
  580. Do not play their game, that's how they find their way in."
  581.
  582. Perhaps, Sythaeryn's efforts decades prior, and how they'd backfire once Osrona was sold, was enough history for both representative parties to cling onto.
  583.
  584. "If you see one, kill them."
  585.
  586. (Orodyn Vartuul)
  587. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  588.
  589. [01:42] Varceal Vartuul says, "Ebonwing.. you are needed."
  590. [01:42] Rimilda Ebonwing says, "Aye."
  591. [01:43] "Not my place, but I advise we deal with our issue before we press others."
  592.
  593. The thought of dragonslayers recruiting Synthetics made him excited, and he knew that was a bad thing. The weapons they could make would likely be catastrophic with their guidance and knowledge.
  594.
  595. "One problem at a time, as they say."
  596.
  597. He folds his arms and follows behind casually. Trying to maintain the use of the get out of jail free card they'd obtained earlier, it was probably best he filled in Orodyn about yet another establishment.. but after this meeting of course..
  598.
  599. He moves over to the corner to stand in silence.
  600. (Dezmond Graves)
  601. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  602.
  603. [01:46] Rimilda kicks her boots up on the table.
  604. (Rimilda Ebonwing)
  605. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  606.
  607. [01:56] Within the fireblooded temple the civilians would be moved out as a meeting was about to start, up the stairs of the holy temple the only fire would light the room....
  608.
  609. There were seats but the outsiders would wait for a full welcome before sitting upon them, Varceal however cared not for what they did - he was more interested in what they came for. The tall drakanite would take his seat at the table..
  610.
  611. Even though there were three dragonlords. - most would look to him for a final answer...
  612.
  613. With that in mind he would be the first to speak. "I will start by introducing my self, and then those around me, to my right is Rimilda Ebonwing, much like me she is a dragonlord and able to be second if there was a decision to be made, after her is my younger brother Orodyn Vartuul, and in the corner Dezmond Graves flame herald within our ranking system.
  614.
  615. "I am Varceal Vatuul, as you may know I am seen as a leader figure here and all though there are two otherswho share the same role- I will make a final decision at the end of the day due to my noble lineage."
  616.
  617. Now pressing his fingers together the man would lean forward and stare at the three before him. "Please - introduce your selves and explain why you have come to speak to our humble temple."
  618. (Varceal Vartuul)
  619. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  620.
  621. [01:57] Within the fireblooded temple the civilians would be moved out as a meeting was about to start, up the stairs of the holy temple the only fire would light the room....
  622.
  623. There were seats but the outsiders would wait for a full welcome before sitting upon them, Varceal however cared not for what they did - he was more interested in what they came for. The tall drakanite would take his seat at the table..
  624.
  625. Even though there were three dragonlords. - most would look to him for a final answer...
  626.
  627. With that in mind he would be the first to speak. "I will start by introducing my self, and then those around me, to my right is Rimilda Ebonwing, much like me she is a dragonlord and able to be second if there was a decision to be made, after her is my younger brother Orodyn Vartuul, and in the corner Dezmond Graves flame herald within our ranking system."
  628.
  629. "I am Varceal Vatuul, as you may know I am seen as a leader figure here and all though there are two otherswho share the same role- I will make a final decision at the end of the day due to my noble lineage."
  630.
  631.
  632. Now pressing his fingers together the man would lean forward and stare at the three before him. "Please - introduce your selves and explain why you have come to speak to our humble temple."
  633.
  634. (Varceal Vartuul)
  635. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  636.
  637. [02:03] Rather than sit, the Stellus decides to remain standing, approaching the seated trio of Theria's representatives. First offering a practiced, formal curtsy, a formal introduction often seen among the noble houses.
  638.
  639. "I apologize for the commotion before, I was not at all anticipating dealing with Barsburgian aggression."
  640.
  641. Geztelle's gaze shifts to each as they are introduced, offering a soft smile and a nod to all three.
  642.
  643. "It is a pleasure to meet you all. My name is Geztelle ven Pelleaux, and I am the Stellus of Osrona, Speaker of the Stars. I will allow my associates to introduce themselves, however."
  644.
  645. With formal introduction out of the way, she quickly moves on.. into the meat of their meeting.
  646.
  647. "It goes without saying that the history between our respective peoples is long and.. troublesome. Our ancestors often clashed against one another, and many of Theria originally came from the Empire of Esshar, branded rebels at the time."
  648.
  649. "But history is simply that- history."
  650.
  651. Geztelle was not the type to hold grudges, especially for her ancestors.
  652.
  653. "I wish to redefine the relationship between Osrona and Theria, and usher us into an age where we can work together. Despite our religious differences, I wholeheartedly believe that if we worked together we could achieve great things, not to mention stave off foreign invaders."
  654.
  655. "Which is what Barsburg is, by the way. Make no mistake- they have no intention to keep peaceful relations forever. Their Empire has brought many a nation under their heel, ever expanding and conquering."
  656.
  657. "Their machine beings hold no regard for your dragons, nor do they care about any but themselves. They have no sense of honor, and I think that the display tonight proves such."
  658.
  659. Geztelle sighs, before continuing.
  660.
  661. "If I am not mistaken, Theria is currently dealing with their own outside threat, no? Dragon hunters.. or something to that effect."
  662.
  663. "I would wager that they will align themselves with Achyon, or at least associate with them to some degree. If we do form a more... lucrative and friendly relationship, we will always protect our allies."
  664. (Geztelle ven Pelleaux)
  665. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  666.
  667. [02:05] With the Stellus adorned by a Radiant on one side and Knight on the other, the trio stand a diplomatic force before the assembly of Fireblooded. It is courtesy that keeps them devoid of seats, and likely a desire to not fall complacent within these territories.
  668.
  669. Emerald eyes skirt each of those introduced, one by one, with no shortage of wandering scepticism and scrutiny. How did each carry themselves? Did their strength present itself outright, or were it concealed beneath uninspiring demeanours?
  670.
  671. He didn't care, truly. It was the Stellus' job to care. It was his job to see her returned safely.
  672.
  673. The prompting of an introduction does draw him to a bow, a large, splayed palm set over his heart as he arches forth.
  674.
  675. "Cristole. Radiant of the Second Dawn, seat of the Council of Osrona, and assigned guardian of the Stellus this eve.
  676.
  677. A pleasure."
  678.
  679. The Radiant snaps upright, a militaristic gait assumed, steadfast and hardy; palms crocks and settle at the small of his back, chin tilted upward, posture pristine.
  680.
  681. A military man through and through.
  682.
  683. The Stellus is allowed the spotlight. Blobs of blood ebb down his cheek still, though he pays no heed to it. Greater wounds had adorned him.
  684. (Cristole)
  685. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  686.
  687. [02:09] The whole fight alone was unnecessary to be having to go through before arriving here, but the important part is the Stellus was able to form up a meeting with the Fireblooded at last.
  688.
  689. He waited for the Stellus to go first, whether it would be an introduction, or a speech, or both, and after that - The Radiant was given the turn.
  690.
  691. And finally, his, "I am Emil Soleis, Knight of the Second Dawn, assigned to accompany and protect the Stellus as well.
  692.
  693. It is a pleasure to finally be able to meet indeed."
  694.
  695. The Knight offered a greeting bow in a gentle demeanor, a slight opposite of Cristole's way of presenting himself despite being in the same force.
  696.
  697. The Knight would stand to keep his duties as a guard for the Stellus as the meeting is let to continue.
  698. (Emil Soleis)
  699. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  700.
  701. [02:15] Rimilda had kicked her boots up onto the table. She treated this like a casual meeting from the getgo. Her eyes trailed over the trio in front of them, the Osronians, with an assessing gaze. Despite the initial appearance, it was clear that she's measuring them.
  702.
  703. Varceal did the favor of introducing her.
  704. So, once the trio from Osrona introduce themselves, she nods to each of them individually.
  705. "Aye, Emil, Cristole, Geztelle. To each of you, the same. A pleasure, I suppose." Rimilda regards, making herself present.
  706.
  707. Rimilda's eyes shift onto Geztelle. She was the primary speaker here, clearly.
  708. "Those dragon slayers have already been about causing problems."
  709. A sharp grin draws on her expression.
  710. "We've got action."
  711. Rimilda does not really add anything, for now at least.
  712. (Rimilda Ebonwing)
  713. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  714.
  715. [02:16] Everything he heard was a bit in the air, and he would have to do some research himself. He knew for a fact that he would have to go elsewhere, to learn about it as well.
  716.
  717. From what he knew previously, he should be wary of them. Their previous alliance dissolved under circumstance he knew nothing of. Perhaps reinforcements sent to retake Osrona.
  718.
  719. He yawned, only waiting to see how the Dragonlords chose to act. He began to whistle a low tune while rolling up some new herb. an ever watchful eye on Emil in particular.
  720. (Dezmond Graves)
  721. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  722.
  723. [02:20] Though he is introduced by the head Dragonlord, Orodyn sees the need to restate his presence with more care for specifics. As, for the purposes of their chat, there is a more than vague parallel to be drawn between the Stellus and himself. Mayhap not in the sense of what they both believed in, but the weight they borne within their own societal structures.
  724.
  725. "Intriguing. I had heard that a Pelleaux had become the new starseer." The drakanite solemnly observes. "I had thought your kin to historically be scholars. And for you to waltz into a conflict of arms, given your fame and luggage? It certainly subverts expectation."
  726.
  727. A glance and a nod is paid to both vigil knights, who had stood tall of their claim - tossed themselves onto the blade for their religious leader.
  728.
  729. "Much like yourself, Lady Pelleaux, I am a man of faith - our reputation as priests precedes us both.
  730.
  731. And as such? I am glad to see your fixation on Barsburg has given our talks an amicable onset."
  732.
  733. Through an interval of meditation, Orodyn bounces his gaze between Dezmond and the other two dragonlords.
  734.
  735. "A truce is the least I'd like to see given birth from this talk, otherwise, we'd just be leaving our guts bare for either one to rip clean off.
  736.
  737. Let's make sure we are on the same page."
  738.
  739. Clawed digits tap on the meeting table's surface. The more fixated on history of the three, from the looks of it. To good reason, perhaps. Zealotry was no alien trait to the Vartuul.
  740.
  741. "No more dragon hunting.
  742.
  743. Your kin have done it prior. You've had noble houses sworn to the cause in the past.
  744.
  745. Make an oath to this before we move on."
  746. (Orodyn Vartuul)
  747. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  748.
  749. [02:29] The Vartuul was going to suggest something of the same manner but perhaps this was a better task to be done straight forward as his brother has placed it.
  750.
  751. And that elephant within the room has been shown and gave attention to here and now, the hunting of dragons prior has been a upset to the community - and from the earlier events of the day - there is no mistake that if everyone was here they would be calling for blood.
  752.
  753. But this situation demands for leadership - the calm and the collected. "My brother brings a good point, and a rightful request otherwise you are wasting your words - on ears that will not listen , not when your past shows that you share the decree of those genocidal lunatics far south of Esshar."
  754.
  755. This was calls for a truce and to understand one another , but Varceal though of his people first. "Openly it would be a strategic down fall for us if we did openly agree to work with you - you see your borders alone alone has the threat of just us- here at this mountain , the dread woods in which we only think the threat there has been expunged, and the tribes further south from it who I now think have their own problems to think about."
  756.
  757. The savages clawed at their own necks as far as he was aware at the current. "But - us.. well Barsburg current encampment is not but a few miles away - sure you may not see that as a problem but to cross these mountains - my people will be at a risk not that they fear battle or death but we are on the verge of war currently.."
  758.
  759. With that being said the man leaned back in his chair crossing one leg over the other as he continued to stare into the eyes of the stellus. "Make the oath - and we will listen and decide.."
  760. (Varceal Vartuul)
  761. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  762.
  763. [02:37] "Then I shall make that oath gladly, Dragonlords."
  764.
  765. Geztelle offers another smile. Given her peaceful disposition, she had no issue with swearing such. Despite the tumultuous history, she knew the people of Theria to be honorable.
  766.
  767. If this is what was required, she found no issue with it.
  768.
  769. "Allow the stars to be my witness on this day- I, Stellus Geztelle of the ancient house of Pelleaux swear upon my honor that I will not ever endorse the slaying of dragons."
  770.
  771. Given that they had much larger threats to deal with, so long as the dragons remained atop the mountain and did not injure the innocent... it was justifiable. An issue which she didn't foresee so long as they had good relations.
  772.
  773. With the oath out of the way, she quickly moved onto the points presented.
  774.
  775. "You aren't wrong, Dragonlord Vartuul. Currently speaking you may be better off not joining our conflict, but you must look ahead to the future."
  776.
  777. "The Empire of Barsburg intends to attack us because we are perceived to be weak. They wish to push us out of our ancestral home and back into the wilds. Their cause is not honorable, but mere greed for more land and expansion."
  778.
  779. "Do you truly believe that they will offer you to live here safely when they are finished with us?"
  780.
  781. Geztelle quirks a brow, before shaking her head.
  782.
  783. "Their country is known to enslave beasts, demons, and all sorts of beings that they can weaponize and use. If you wish to protect your people... your dragons, I simply advise that you act now before it is too late."
  784.
  785. "I am not saying that you need to mobilize, but simply a defensive pact. If you are attacked by the dragon slayers we will also muster our forces to defend you, and vice versa."
  786.
  787. "I have no intention to attack Achyon, and it will only be an issue if they attack us directly... unjustly."
  788. (Geztelle ven Pelleaux)
  789. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  790.
  791. [02:50] - but it stood that the word of a Stellus alone could not strike covenant on behalf of Osrona. Though the history of Osrona and Theria was twined primarily in bloodshed and ire, the Radiant did not hold for them the same resentment as Achyon had clinched.
  792.
  793. Even so, while Cristole were not a man of diplomacy, and while his contributions to the wider military were of an assuredly specialized nature, his seat on the council had been earned not merely through muscle.
  794.
  795. "Let it be known, then, that on behalf of the Second Dawn and for the duration of any alliances or treaties established, any affront against dragonkind, for the purpose of sport, material gain or otherwise, shall be hereby outlawed and summarily punished beneath the remit of the law.
  796.
  797. I will see to it that the council agrees to and concedes to this declaration."
  798.
  799. That bold pronouncement is met with a solitary nod, and in no time at all is that rigid posture assumed anew, and the podium deferred to the Stellus afore him.
  800.
  801. Emerald eyes swing between each in turn, but it is self-proclaimed Priest and his apparent penchant for conciliation that draws his ultimate interest.
  802.
  803. Silence is henceforth maintained, though calloused digits never stray quite too far from the blood-crusted steel.
  804. (Cristole)
  805. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  806.
  807. [02:53] Emil simply nodded while listening into the leaders making their discussion and whatnot, but the oath wasn't something he would disagree entirely.
  808.
  809. It's not as if he was someone who'd hunt down dragons without any provocations after all, something he'd gladly do with less hesitation, "To be fair, I've never experienced being attacked by any dragons, and I find hunting them would only prolong their aggression." He commented a bit.
  810.
  811. Seeing as the Stellus agreed to make the Oath, his confidence was raised by it, "I will gladly do the oath seeing as the Stellus done it." Even Cristole agreed, that was yet another reason for his confidence to raise.
  812.
  813. "As a Knight of the Order who attended to this meeting, I will swear to not harm any Dragons nor anything that's related to them, as long as the treaty is up and ongoing." with his hand rose up slightly while he made the Oath, he would soon nod at each individuals.
  814.
  815. Continuing to observe the meeting without interrupting anything spoken out between the leaders, unless he is needed to share his voice again.
  816. (Emil Soleis)
  817. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  818.
  819. [02:59] Dezmond Graves says, "Mmm.."
  820. [03:07] Silence, for a moment. Perhaps, the youngest of the trio was the most conservative, and as such the more likely one to hold a historical grudge against them all.
  821.
  822. Slitted amethyst, hugged by the sunkissed skin of his eyelids, narrows briefly in contemplation of their claims.
  823.
  824. Air ripples, connecting dialogue yet again between both parties.
  825.
  826. "I believe you. I believe all of you." He's mayhap overextending his duties. But being one dragonlord short, it was only rational that Orodyn would represent the temple's backbone to the degree he did.
  827.
  828. "But..." There was always one of those, wasn't there? "There's a vacuum of power that we know for a fact neither of you should be capable of speaking for. Archmages, you called them - I believe?"
  829.
  830. The youngest Vartuul lets out a sigh.
  831.
  832. "It is in your hands to amend that vacuum, lest our pact is made void by dissent from your kin.
  833.
  834. Our hierarchy, though smaller in density, is far more lineal and self-explanatory. Less likely to falter in its worded function."
  835.
  836. A glance paid to both of his elder made harbingers, the farthest of which would be his brother.
  837.
  838. "Moving forward. We know better than to give Barsburg breathing room - our people sustained a fifteen year war with them in the past. One that, for reasons unrelated to our struggle, may just be considered a loss all the same."
  839.
  840. The bloodied, pauldron-wearing drakanite finally delegates following one last statement.
  841.
  842. "We're better off on the offensive, if you ask me. If we simply remain idle and bide our time, they'll eventually find a hole to poke. Our last defending campaign against them went exactly like that.
  843.
  844. I'd rather not have us make the same mistake again."
  845. (Orodyn Vartuul)
  846. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  847.
  848. [03:17] Listening in he wonders if a decision would be made based off of Orodyn's own words. He figured that there would be at least a truce or a treaty. There wouldn't be much from him this go round.
  849.
  850. Just listening to how politics are dealt with, from a hands off perspective. Ultimately he'd have to serve in whatever decision was made, but it didn't mean he would blindly accept a choice that was made. After all, it was his duty to protect his brethren as a whole. Not just one persons ideology on the logistics and outlook on Esshar.
  851.
  852. He only had one job after all.
  853. (Dezmond Graves)
  854. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  855.
  856. [03:22] Dreik asks, "Uh sorry, is this the church that the post on the board mentioned?"
  857. [03:23] Dezmond Graves says, "Follow me outside young one."
  858. [03:23] Orodyn Vartuul says, "It -... yes. U-"
  859. [03:23] Orodyn Vartuul says, "Too slow, I guess."
  860. [03:39] With the oath be given the Vartuul would close his eyes in deep thought about the situation at hand listening to all the words that have been summed up - and it seemed to him like their path was as narrow as a tight rope.
  861.
  862. Although there was much progress being made there still held past transgressions that were far too great to simply be thrown away. With that being said there was no problem with the build of trust - although tensions are rising between several nations it is not as high as to wage war just yet - there was still some time to build on trust and relations, and that was what they were doing now.
  863.
  864. Once silence cast down on the group before him - and the words of those of his people and his brother has stopped - he felt their eyes slowly turned to him, in which he would open his one exposed amethyst eye to stare at the group before him - more specifically the Stellus.
  865.
  866. "I will accept your invitation for a treaty of peace and a trial of understanding to build relations between one and another, and at no point do I plan to let Barsburg gain the upper hand in by conquest, rest assured I will not allow such a thing to happen not while we are all so close along our borders." He explained.
  867.
  868. "However I cannot publicly announce this as a defensive pact, and your words although sweet - are not as bold and as true as actions, So we shall build up our own trust.. with the following."
  869.
  870. The Vartuul would sit up straight. "Peace and trade, as well as a passage around our cities, will be granted - your people will learn to live along side our own as citizens of neighboring nations - and by trials ahead of us we will build our relations in this way. In the hope that one day our relations will lead us up to a point of both a defensive and offensive pact."
  871.
  872. It only made sense to him - for his people were ready for action - and they trusted no one but their own and only time will heal wounds of scars not long forgotten for both osrona and Theria.
  873.
  874. "As for now - you may look at us as you already did a non-hostile nation that you want to build trust with- but now you know you may come and go as you like, help - where you can and if your allowed and we will do the same- but you are not to come to our defense should the dragonslayers wage an onslaught against us - not unless we allow it, by custom, this is our own battle and we are not yet at that stage of relations."
  875.
  876. Varceal closed his eyes once again as he thought about what he had just said. "I realize you believe that this leaves you in the same spot as you were before, I am here to tell you that if thats what you think you are wrong- this treaty between us is but one step.. I hope you will not take it for granted or think of it as me not heeding your words."
  877.
  878. With one hand on the table he lifted up out of his seat and leaned forward. "What say you Stellus of Osrona."
  879. (Varceal Vartuul)
  880. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  881.
  882. [03:45] The Stellus listens intently, finding the words of both Vartuuls to be acceptable. While Geztelle had hoped for a speedy alliance, it only made sense that they would wish to further build trust first.
  883.
  884. "Very well, Dragonlords. It is as you say, we have no reason to trust one another after centuries of warfare amongst ourselves. We must first come to trust one another, but I have no doubt that one day our people will be strong friends."
  885.
  886. Optimistic, perhaps, or simply naïve, Geztelle held onto hope that they could work together one day. To defend both of their homes, as she very much viewed Barsburg to be an external force, an invade upon Esshar.
  887.
  888. Not that everyone agreed or held similar mindset.
  889.
  890. "I have put my name forward to become the Archmage of Osrona, but I cannot guarantee it will be me the council selects. Until we have someone official, I intend to handle diplomatic affairs."
  891.
  892. "So yes, I agree to these terms, and I do not think the council will object either."
  893.
  894. A nod, her gaze shifting between her companions.
  895.
  896. "If you require further diplomatic meetings, you need only send word, the same for assistance. Your people are free to trade and roam amongst our city as well."
  897.
  898. "If there is nothing more for the moment, however, I am feeling quite worn out."
  899. (Geztelle ven Pelleaux)
  900. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  901.
  902. [03:47] Varceal Vartuul says, "That is completely understandable.."
  903. [03:48] Varceal Vartuul asks, "- will you send word on your councils behalf?"
  904. [03:48] Geztelle ven Pelleaux says, "Yes. If anything comes up, you will be informed, and I hope to hear from you the same. I believe there is much we can learn from one another."
  905. [03:49] Varceal Vartuul says, "With that thought in mind - let us leave it at that in this optomistic state.. Oro, see the stellus and her guards out, if you don't mind then return to speak upon this choice we had made."
  906. [03:49] Orodyn tightens his jaw, even if for a split second. There's some hesitance, though he seems to finally concede, believing in his older brother's judgment. "... so be it." A solemn nod of his head. The drakanite concedes, before taking a stand. "Follow me, please."
  907. (Orodyn Vartuul)
  908. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  909.
  910. [03:50] Varceal Vartuul says, "I bid you farewell Stellus - follow the flame within you as you walk, and let it cleanse your enemies around you."
  911. [03:50] Geztelle ven Pelleaux says, "May the stars shine upon you all, farewell for now."
  912. [03:50] Yawning he gets up from his position and heads out toward the gates as well. He had his own task to perform after all. The drakenite slunk his hands into his pockets before asking just incase.
  913.
  914. "I'm no longer needed at this moment I take it my lord?" He says to Varceal.
  915. (Dezmond Graves)
  916. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  917.
  918. [03:51] Varceal Vartuul says, "Take a seat Dezmond - your actions haven't gone unoticed.."
  919. [03:51] Dezmond lowkey sucks his teeth.
  920. (Dezmond Graves)
  921. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  922.
  923. [03:51] Dezmond Graves says, "My pleasure."
  924. [03:53] Varceal Vartuul says, "I think you noticed that in your introduction I gave you the same rank as Azar has - I believe you are capable of leading as well and hope that you will make it to the rank of fireblood - which isn't to far away.. so I believe it's a good thing that you were here for all of that."
  925. [03:54] Dezmond Graves says, "It is an honor to hear you say this, I'll do my best to maintain what I've currently been doing. "
  926. [03:54] Cristole says, "It's no matter. Farewell ."
  927.
