- Guild policies of TEST Militia
- § 1 Mission Statement—[TEST] Militia Please Ignore, hereinafter [TEST], the WvW Division of [TEST] Guild Please Ignore (PVE) is founded on two ideals: First, [TEST] must remain on Isle Of Janthir (IOJ). Second, there will be no harsh requirements in order to remain a part of the guild.
- § 1.1 No Particular Focus—[TEST] has no particular focus in WvW, and is not exclusive to a single aspect or play style. [TEST] is not single-mindedly committed to world vs. world in defense, offense, Guild vs Guild or Reset Activities. Instead, [TEST] is committed to all that WvW has to offer.
- § 1.2 No Harsh Requirements—[TEST] will not have any harsh requirements in order to join or remain a part of the guild. For specific requirements on guild membership, see § 2.
- § 2 Membership requirements—While [TEST] will not have any harsh membership requirements, the realities of guild management and game mechanics necessitate some requirements.
- § 2.1 Home Server Requirement—All members must either: (1) Have Isle of Janthir set to their home server; or (2) Have an intent to transfer and approval of a member of Guild Leadership (Co-Leader or Leader hereinafter Guild Leaders). Those meeting the home server requirement under this subsection will be added to a master list which the Guild Leaders will maintain.
- § 2.2 Guild Representation—[TEST] does not require members to represent at all times, being a guild that mainly focuses in WvW we understand that other guilds offer PVE events and do not wish to interfere with guild policies. However, members that consistently do not represent the guild in WvW will be demoted to the "probationer" rank. A probationer has the burden of notifying Guild Leaders that they still wish to remain a part of the guild. Probationers are subject to ejection.
- § 2.3 Activity Requirement—Due to limitations in the information provided by the game, WvW activity is difficult to police. However, members who are dormant in participation of Guild Events are subject to ejection. Dormant members will be demoted to the probationer rank. A probationer has the burden of notifying the Guild Leaders that they still wish to remain a part of the guild.
- § 2.4 Raid Requirement—[TEST] defines Raids as a Guild Event anticipating an organized zerg battle of 10 Members or more, opposing equal or greater numbered opposition. During the event, players are required to fill the roles of the currently effective composition by class, build and experience designated by the current raid organizer, hereafter Driver. Although this takes time, it is the most effective way to fight against skilled opponents on servers of higher population.
- § 2.5 Build Requirement—[TEST] will not require its members to run Guild Specified Builds during usual activities. However during a Raid, the Guild Specified Build (ie. tmpi.reddit.com) or a similar specified build will be enforced for participating Members. Guild Builds are tried and tested by experienced guild members in controlled WvW Zerg Battles (ie 15v15 Scrims) and will serve as a more cohesive way to fight opponents, relying on your team for survival utilities, rather than an independent player. Members that cannot attain the build can make an appeal by contacting the current Driver. Players seeking to change the Guild Builds must test their proposition in scrims before a petition.
- § 2.6 Leadership Requirement—Due to the lack of requirements to maintain Membership, [TEST] will not support Commanders that have not participated in Guild Events to rally TEST members. Commanders that wish to rally [TEST] Members must represent the guild during the rally. Drivers of [TEST] must participate in helping guild members in attaining Guild Builds and familiarizing them in training sessions before mobilizing Raids.
- § 2.7 Erroneous Ejection—As a WvW Guild, [TEST] dependents on player participatory activities. Inactivity is monitored via the "Last Online" feature, when a player reached 3 weeks of inactivity, he/she is removed by Guild Leaders during a designated purging date. This can lead to erroneous ejections from the guild. Members who believe that they have been erroneously ejected may appeal their ejection by contacting a guild officer or posting to the subreddit. All members purged will be notified by ingame mail.
- § 3 Membership Conduct—[TEST] Militia does not believe in regulating speech or conduct of its members. With that said, [TEST] members should aspire to treat other players with respect. Any sort of harassment or abuse of any other player will not be tolerated and may result in demotion to probationer and/or ejection from the guild.
- § 3.1 Exploiting—[TEST] Militia does not condone exploiting in order to maintain a reputable WvW presence for the IOJ server. Anyone accused of exploiting to gain an advantage for rewards (gold/exp/wxp/ppt) in WvW/PvP with sufficient evidence (screenshots/video), is subject to IMMEDIATE removal from the guild.
- § 4 TeamSpeak—[TEST] Militia utilizes the Isle of Janthir community TeamSpeak, located at iojts.net. TeamSpeak is strongly encouraged for participating in guild activities, regardless of the possession of a microphone.
- § 4.1 TeamSpeak Conduct—Teamspeak conduct extends to Section 3, aforementioned Membership Conduct, towards all Guilds of IOJ on TeamSpeak.
- § 5 The Probationer Rank—A member who is demoted to probationer is subject to ejection. A demotion to probationer can result from inactivity, misconduct, or failure to comply with the guild requirements. Probationers have the burden of petitioning an officer to be promoted back to the Militia base rank. A probationer that violates the guild policies through misbehavior, misconduct, or any other means, is subject to ejection.
- § 5.1 Notice—Any member demoted to probationer or ejected from the guild will be notified via in game mail by the Guild Leaders.
- § 6 Additional Policies—[TEST] Militia reserves the right to enact additional policies as they become necessary.
