Happy Dad Day

Alexithymiaa: -Brad had been in his room checking his email when he was sent a link from the editor of Anna's video of the first finalized clip. He raised his brows as he opened it, watching it without the audio, a slow grin spreading across his face because it was coming out exactly how he'd discussed with her. Pushing up from his desk, he made his way out of his dorm, heading across the hall to knock on Kelsey's door. "Kels?"-
Covet: Kelsey was in her room with Connor and they were getting the cake she'd gotten made up earlier that day for him, finished. Taking the bottles of beer and putting them on the top of the cake between the sugar free rock candy pieces. "Okay buddy do you have your gift?" // Connor ran over to the couch where his gift bag was and then heard Brad knock on the door, he whispered loudly, "It's him, what do we do, Momma?" // Kelsey laughed, then spoke out, "Yeah, one sec we were just on our way out, we'll meet you in the dinning room."
Alexithymiaa: (THE WHOLE CAKE IS SUGAR FREE? That cant be nearly as good as delicious sugar.)
Alexithymiaa: -He looked back down at his phone and sort of nodded to himself before he started to turn away. "Okay!" He called out to her, starting down the hall to the entrance of the kitchen dining area. He dropped heavily onto a chair to wait for them, setting his phone down in front of him.-
Covet: [There's some decent substitutes out there, but nothing beats real sugar]
Covet: Kelsey picked up the cake and made her way to the door, looking at Connor, "Can you get the door for me Kiddo?" She asked him. // "Yep, I got it, Momma." He said opening up the door so that he could run down the hallway to thedining area where Brad was at. "Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad" He said all the way down, as he ran until he got to Brad, then he stopped dead and looked up at him. "Happy Dad Day!"
Alexithymiaa: -When he heard Connor start to yell from down the hall, he twisted in his seat to look behind him, watching the kid run over to him. He started to laugh, adjusting the beanie on his head as he watched him. "Thanks Little Man. Where's Momma?"-
Covet: "I'm coming, I had to have him open the door for me." She said as she came out with his cake in hand, [ It doesn't have to be that beer though. Alexithymiaa: (Hes not a picky beer drinker lmao)
Alexithymiaa: -He turned to look at Kelsey following up after Connor with the cake in hand, his brows raising because CAKE. "Wow, look at that. Is that real beer?" He asked, unable to take his eyes off the cake. "This was so nice of you. Thank you." He reached out to take the bag from Connor, setting it down in his lap. "Can I open it?"-
Covet: [But Bud Light Lime is like.. the pussiest of the average beers XD]
Alexithymiaa: (He'll drink anything. Of course he has his favorites, but he wont not drink it)
Covet: "Yeah, Nice and cold too, because it was in my dorm fridge all day." She told him with a grin as she set the cake down. "And none of this will put you in a coma either." // "I made sure Momma didn't put sugar in it, because I didn't want her to kill you." He said as if Kelsey would ever be acapable of such things. "Yeah open it!" Inside the bag was a couple of t-shirts they'd found for Brad.

Covet: [What was O.o]
Alexithymiaa: "Yesssssss." He hissed, instantly reachign over to pull a beer off the cake to pop open and take a sip. He set the bottle down on the table, cake on the bottom and all because no fucks before he started pulling the two shirts from the bag to hold up and look at. "Wow, these a great. Thanks guys. I should wear these next time I have to go to LA so everyone who doesn't know me, knows what's up."-
Alexithymiaa: ("I made sure Momma didnt put sugar in it because I didnt want her to kill you.")
Covet: [LMAO really? XD I had no idea]
Covet: "Bradley... you're making a mess." She said with a sigh, then shook her head at her, "Awwh, that would be cute, to see you strutting around. If you thought you had girls wanting you before though..." She said with a bit of a cring, "It's not gonna get any worse, that's for sure." // Connor reached over to steal one of the rock candies off of the top of the cake, "Momma, do these have beer in them?"
Alexithymiaa: -He glanced at the bottom of his bottle making a fucking mess on the table, giving a careless shrug. "It's my day, I'm allowed." He reached over to pluck a rock candy from the top of the cake, tossing it into his mouth. "Can we cut this up and I'll show you guys what the editor just sent me?"-
Covet: "Sure that sounds great." Kelsey made her way into the kitchen to get some plates, a knife and something to wipe up Brad's mess with. "No, kiddo, they don't, you can have one." She told Connor. // "Cool, it looks like ice, but it's really candy." Connor told Brad, though duh, it was kind of obvious. "We're going to watch something?"
Alexithymiaa: "You've never had rock candy before?" He asked Connor, picking up his phone so open the five second clip, but was waiting for Kelsey to come back before he hit play. "It's only a short five second clip of the video I was just working on. It's basically something the editor sends to make sure I like the pace, coloring, and CG before the spend all the extra money to get the whole video done."-
Covet: "He's had it before but it was on a stick." Kelsey said as she brought stuff over. "We actually made this stuff so that we could make it look more like ice." She scooted the cake over to her so that she should get it cut up and dished up for the three of them, giving Connor a substantially smaller slice, because it was close to bed time. "Oh nice, did they get it on point for you." // Connor listened to Brad as he sucked on his candy waiting or his cake while he looked at Brad's phone, "I don't know what all of that means, Dad."
Alexithymiaa: "He always does. He's the same editor I worked with last time I did a video for Anna, and he's who I want to use for yours. We seem to work pretty well together and we're always on the same page." He scooted his phone over, hitting play so they could watch the audioless clip. Covet: "Oh wow, that's really cool!" Kelsey said with a smile as she slid his plate with his cake over to him with a fork. "But mine's going to be way cooler right?" She asked him, with a smirk. //"How is she standing on the side of the building without falling off?" He asked confused as he stared at the phone screen, while digging into his cake.
Covet: [FUck sorry thought I hit enter]
Alexithymiaa: -Brad picked up his fork, stabbing at the cake and shoving some into his mouth. "Of course yours is going to be cooler. You think I'd give my best work to someone else? Yours is way more involved." He shoved more cake into his mouth, his eyes dropping down to look at Connor. "It's all fake, buddy. She's never actually upside down, we just turn the room and the camera so it looks that way."-
Covet: "No, I know you love me the most" She told him with a pleased smile. I finally feel like I'm not dying at training in the morning, so that's nice." Kelsey said.// "Wow, but they look so real. It really looks like Anna." He said all sorts of amazed now, "Wait, how do you turn a room, rooms are really big?"
Alexithymiaa: "That's improvement. You should be ready to start rehearsals soon, and then we can get this moving." He set his fork down, rustling Connor's hair. "I'll show you one day. It's hard to explain. For now, what I want you to do is figure out what kind of food you want to cook for your cooking show."-
Covet: "We've already kind of been doing a few, for the combat scenes, that way we're really not having to spend too much time, with reshoots." Kelsey told him as she took a bite of the cake, then looked at Connor. // "I want to cook cool stuff. Like the stuff Momma always makes. We can just use her recipe thingy." Connor told them then looked at Kelsey, "Momma, I'm done with my cake, I'm going to go brush my teeth and get ready for bed." He said as he got down, and gave Brad's waist a hug, then ran off to do his bed time things
Alexithymiaa: -He wrapped his arms around Connor to return the hug, watching him run off. "I should probably put this away so I can eat it tomorrow when I get up. Breakfast cake is the best cake." (Truth) He slid out of his seat and up to his feet, stretching his arms over his head. "Can you wrap the rest up for me?"-
