  1. [01:17] Quincy reaches a hand for his staff now and takes it from his back- His body lightning up with instinctive silver lightning across his body. There is a wash of Occult presence at first, but it is quickly replaced with neutrality as it vanished. He begins to float into the air and narrow his eyes back at Chotion.
  2.
  3. The questions asked by Aella, are unfortunately ignored as the trident is pointed clearly for the man's throat in that moment. Quincy's body would start to glow that silver- Overshadowed by some ephemeral darkness that started to bleed from his body like fog. Surrounding both of his arms and now his chest, a cry can be heard from Quincy but it isn't his own. An amalgamation of Occult force seems to boom from his person as a second set of arms rip freely from Quincy's body- And a completely other person stands just behind him.
  4.
  5. Sharp teeth, arms cloaked in force. It was the spirit of a Gehennan.
  6.
  7. "You. Me. Fields. Now." His eyes narrow, as the wretched spirit behind him begins to laugh and snarl.
  8. (Quincy Tval)
  9. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  10. [01:37] Quincy cloaks himself in the everblooming force that is an Occultic rage. The spirit behind him roars outwards as titanic claws and swaths of darkness would seek to swallow him whole. Occult lightning rains from the sky around Chotion, crashing into his body time and time again whilst Quincy spaced out the distance between the two.
  11.
  12. There is a momentary point where he swore he was going to lose- As Quincy's palms come together, there is an amazing burst of gravitational force all around him and the fields they had chosen. A force strong enough to pull him in and rip him to pieces.
  13.
  14. The battle is won in the end, quite like David and Goliath. Quincy brings himself and Ghede, the dark spirit, alongside him whilst controlling the flow around Chotion. He is inevitably locked in place immediately after the battle, and Quincy walks towards him now. Revenge- It tasted so sweet.
  15.
  16. The Luxata Family. It was a lineage he swore up and down he would vanquish and eradicate from the face of Eternia after Adira's mad chants in Gehenna.
  17.
  18. 'Murder him! Gut him in the fields! Kill him!'
  19.
  20. How ironic would it be that Adira's final words to Quincy- Would inspire Chotion's end? Quincy kicks the man onto his back, floating up above him now. The trident is now placed directly at Chotion's throat, and he narrows his eyes.
  21.
  22. "Your final words. I want you to speak them before I kill you. Hurry. I don't like to wait."
  23. (Quincy Tval)
  24. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  25.
  26. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  27.
  28. [01:41] In a flurry of strikes and Chotion's ever booming blunt force, in the end it found no match for the Luxata's efforts in battle no matter how hard he pushed forth. Overwatched by the blessings of his Ancestors, in the end it just didn't seem to be enough. This was the route he had chosen in this path of life. One of bloodshed, anger and war. Solving problems with his fists. At heart, even beyond his own family it was something he loved more than anything.
  29.
  30. Though.. it brought his own demise. A time he never felt more alive than knowing it could come to an end at any moment. Yet here was, felled by the likes of Quincy. Forces of gravity that were manipulated far more tactfully than his own. And so it was that, the Giant was felled and there was nothing more to it. He'd be brought down and he'd be stared down upon by Quincy.
  31.
  32. Ballsy to the end. Staring death right in the face, even if it came in that very moment. He spokehis final words, despite the burns and injuries sustained. It felt as if he'd been through much worse.
  33.
  34. "Grrh.. ugnh.. burn in hell you traitor.."
  35. (Chotion Luxata)
  36. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  37.
  38. [01:44] Esso Naam whispers something.
  39. [01:44] The blonde had just come to crafthold to have a nice chat, to enjoy his evening and relax. Nope, looks like we can't have that at he overheard the words between Quincy and Chotion. He listened, closing his eyes as he shook his head, please don't break into a fight, please don't- oh they did it.
  40.
  41. With a sigh and a groan the peglegged man would saunter into the field, fingers crossed it would not come to bloodshed. The two titans would clash and it would be Chotion who's neck was on the line.
  42.
  43. As soon as the trident was put to his throat, water would wrap around the back of the haft, pulling it away and taking it off it's mark. "That's enough, Quincy. You said you still care for our people, why would you go and hurt us by taking one of our warriors away?"
  44.
  45. He'd step forward, drawing his staff. He didn't have his armor, and he wasgrowing old, but if it meant saving Chotion's life? Well Sugarboy was ready to scrap then.
  46. (Sugarboy)
  47. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  48.
  49. [01:44] Esso squints at the thing going on past the crowd. They're too far for him to clearly see what's going on, but Sugarboy looks to have it covered.
  50. (Esso Naam)
  51. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  52.
  53. [01:45] Esso Naam whispers something.
  54. [01:46] Quincy Tval says, ".. Don't do anything you'll regret, Sugarboy."
  55. [01:46] Quincy Tval says, "Care died when an exile turned into an execution."
  56. [01:46] Calael had walked out into the fields. He had no intentions of finding anything out here. All in all he was after a peaceful night. But the shouts of the crowd, the sounds of a battle, they reminded him of his recent bout with his late friend. Still carrying the weight of that loss on his shoulders and trying his best to move forward despite it, he spotted Quincy, the Chieftain who had ousted him several times over, ready to end another's life.
  57.
  58. An honor duel?
  59.
  60. He stopped in his tracks and looked over his shoulder toward Esso, a question on his face, as if he needed confirmation as to what was going on before he attempted something stupid.
  61.
  62. An old man had stepped forward; Sugarboy, the kindly medic of Gehenna who had shown the Elisheva's kindness through out the years. He didn't wait for Esso's answer.
  63.
  64. With a few quick steps Cal found himself beside the blond alchemist, though he had not yet drawn his tome. "I'd like an explanation of this before you murder someone in supposed cold blood, Quincy." a glance toward the older man, "...no offense, but if you're trying to save a life, you might need someone beside you."
  65. (Calael Elisheva)
  66. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  67.
  68. [01:48] Chotion just kinda.. sitting there fucked up good.
  69. (Chotion Luxata)
  70. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  71.
  72. [01:49] Chotion's flames of pure mana, dancing about like fire... as they rose and swept about the field, Amalka would instinctively hiss. Energy, fucking energy. It had burned up and down Gehenna and Quincy during that one day. That was a rotting corpse of a day that kept following her, disfigured so like the spirit upon Quincy's back.
  73.
  74. And before she could say anything else, the back of Chotion turned into... the back of Sugarboy. Her teacher. That day Quincy and Sugarboy fought may have been so lifechanging, a revelation for the two of them... Amalka's life should has gotten so much better, and so much worse afterward. But now, everything's fucked.
  75. (Amalka)
  76. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  77.
  78. [01:49] Sugarboy says, "Mmm, I'm sorry to hear that, but I can't let you kill Chotion."
  79.
  80. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  81.
  82. [01:59] Revenge: the time for the strike seemed to be drawing closer, with the point of a trident. The resentment Amalka felt from that one day, of Amalka's pleas falling on deaf ears-- it had grown in the year afterward.
  83.
  84. But Amalka thought that the two of them could see enough into the future. At least, enough that Sugarboy, someone she had loved, would not have gotten struck down in that process. The resentment in her heart for Chotion had grown into fear. A life was on the verge of being snuffed out, in front of her very eyes. And part of Chotion always had felt like the strong Chieftain, forever present since her first steps on Gehenna. The past was dying in front of her.
  85.
  86. Amalka swiftly turns away.
  87. (Amalka)
  88. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  89.
  90. [02:14] Quincy is filled with something bordering on sadism with how fluently both he and the corrupted spirit behind him were tearing into Sugarboy. So, so many years ago- They had this battle. Quincy had been sixteen at the time, livid and angry with the world over all that it had thrown him through. Like wall after wall after wall of crushing and sound defeat- Of the world stepping on him when he wanted nothing more than to spread his wings and fly.
  91.
  92. Now? Now he was flying. He brings a lightning bolt into Sugarboy's chest and throws him backwards into the crowd once more. The voice of Calael calls up from the crowd, and it catches and elicits his attention. The trident is placed back on Chotion's words as Quincy's smile curls upwards.
  93.
  94. "In terms of last words.. I would've put something on your tombstone that actually means something, giant. Say hello to the spirits for me, and whatever Luxata remain in the next world. Tell them I'm coming for them, next."
  95.
  96. The trident is hoisted up and subsequently forced down into his throat. All three prongs would pierce his jugular, causing not a quick death- But an apt one without the suffering. Chotion's chapter in the Book of Life,
  97.
  98. closes.
  99.
  100. And upon pulling the trident from the body, Quincy spins it around to look at it for a few seconds. He turns his hooded head towards Calael. "I hope you don't mind- The explanation can happen after. And- Now is after."
  101.
  102. He would take in a long breath and relish that moment- Absorbing it as if to remember it forever. He laughs now, crackling with silver lightning as the dark guardian behind him would start to tear and cleave at Chotion's corpse- Removing and collecting whatever valuables were on his person as it were. Adamant eyes look between Sugarboy and Calael.
  103.
  104. "... Gehenna made me a traitor- I'm just repaying back every ounce of violence, malice, and hatred. Three fold. I'm making good on my promises, Calael- Sugarboy. Are you?"
  105. (Quincy Tval)
  106. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  107.
  108. [02:18] Calael watched in shock as Sugarboy was beat back and Quincy ended a life a simply as he'd stab a bale of hay. A Chieftain fell right there in the grass, and there was nothing the demiangel could have done to halt it. His amber eyes glowed a brighter gold, signifying the pyromancer's growing anger.
  109.
  110. "Was this an honor duel or murder, Quincy?" was all he said through grit teeth.
  111. (Calael Elisheva)
  112.
  113. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  114.
  115. [02:22] What the hell was this old man thinking, he wasn't a warrior, and certainly not in his armor. But there he stood, to defend the Drakan he had met so many years ago, injured and looking for a doctor.
  116.
  117. They had become the best of allies, confiding in each other the weights they both had to bare. He fought with everything he had, and it was clearly nothing to match an ex chieftain of Gehenna. His storms did little versus Quincy's piercing thunder, as the ghoul behind him tore him to shreds.
  118.
  119. There he stood, and there he went, being shot right back into the crowd with a bolt of lightning. There he laid as he watched as he friend received a slow death. Blood pooling around him, the very magic the exorcist could use, manipulate to save lives, but his muscles tingled with electricity, his mana drained.
  120.
  121. Ocean blue eyes would simply look up to the victor, not with anger or malice, but pity and sorrow.
  122. (Sugarboy)
  123. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  124.
  125. [02:34] The doctor would shakily reach into his pocket and pull out a cigarette, bringing it to his lips and lighting it with a snap of his fingers. Partially traumatized, still a little bit of static in his system. He'd slowly stand to his feet, dusting off his singed clothes.
  126.
  127. With a sad sigh he'd walk over to the body, hoisting the massive frame over his shoulder. "Alright bud, one last walk back to Gehenna." No one stopping him, he'd hobble off with the body.
  128. (Sugarboy)
  129. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  130. [02:37] Amalka says, "......"
  131. [02:38] Amalka says, "I knew. B-but... I wasn't ready for this at all."
  132. [02:39] Amalka says, "--Oh... gods..."
  133. [02:40] Quincy floats in the air with such triviality after the fact- Almost as if the weight of that death was about as heavy as a feather on his shoulder. No one listened to him when he promised to remove the Luxata- Or when he damned them all for chanting for his death on the fields of Gehenna.
  134.
  135. "Know this.. What happened today was a promise being acted upon. That revenge fills the air after Gehenna turned their daggers to me when I promised their salvation. They will regret the day they did not murder me on those fields- Because this will continue to happen until Gehenna is on both knees." He turns his head to Calael and smiles from ear to ear, the spirit behind him had claws that dripped freely with the blood of the mangled corpse behind him. Items it had scavenged, like a mind of its own.
  136.
  137. The spirit itself was Gehennan- From the runes on its body, to its facial expression. A true tribesmen to the last iotaof mana. It was Quincy's murderous spirit now, ready to gorge on whatever he turned its visage to. It bores holes into the demi-angel now, as he laughs softly. "He wanted me dead- I wanted him dead. Is there no more honorable thing than this? Mark me as whatever you want- Call this a duel, or murder, or simply revenge. But Chotion is dead- And the details are oh so scattered all over the place." He smiles before taking flight and rising into the air.
  138.
  139. He had his chance to escape, and he would be taking it. A final glace is spared to Esso, "You. What would you call this? Honor? Murder? Am I a criminal now?" A mischievous laugh escapes his mouth.
  140. (Quincy Tval)
  141.
  142. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  143.
  144. [02:42] Salvas Voss whispers something.
  145. [02:42] Shizuko Voss asks, "... what?"
  146. [02:42] Salvas Voss says, "Whos body is this..."
  147. [02:42] Shizuko Voss asks, "Is everything okay Sugarboy?"
  148. [02:42] Sugarboy hobbles by with a dead chotion over his shoulder.
  149. (Sugarboy)
  150. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  151.
  152. [02:42] Sugarboy says, "Um, I mean, it's over now."
  153. [02:43] Sugarboy spazzes as if he was struck with lightning, his clothing singed.
  154. (Sugarboy)
  155. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  156.
  157. [02:43] Shizuko Voss asks, "Were they murdered? Are you okay?"
  158. [02:43] Sugarboy says, "It was an honor duel, tried to intervene, didn't work."
  159. [02:43] Shizuko Voss says, "Ah...."
  160. [02:44] Sugarboy says, "Just taking him back to Gehenna for burial."
  161. [02:44] Shizuko Voss asks, "Is there anything I can do to help...?"
  162. [02:44] Shizuko Voss says, "I can't really go there as you may know.."
  163. [02:44] Salvas Voss says, "EMh.."
  164. [02:44] Sugarboy says, "Nah, I got plenty of wood."
  165. [02:44] Shizuko Voss says, "Ah. Alright.."
  166. [02:44] Shizuko Voss says, "I'm sorry for your loss.."
  167. [02:44] Sugarboy says, "It happens, I'll see ya around Shizu."
  168. [02:44] Shizuko Voss says, "See you. Do come visit.."
  169. [02:45] Sugarboy says, "It's why I was here in the first place, haha"
  170. [02:45] Sugarboy says, "Funny how things happen"
  171. [02:45] Shizuko Voss says, "Ah, perhaps next time."
