  1. VintageCraft Community Rules:
  2. We have broken our community rules into three main categories, with the consequences of breaking the rules clearly indicated. Staff use these rules as a guide, but repeated offenses or exceptionally serious breaches will be treated accordingly. Having a record of disruptive behaviour on other servers will result in harsher consequences, and or pre-emptive discipline depending on severity. Staff have green or blue usernames.
  3. Breaking these rules for the first time will result in a warning
  4. - Be polite, kind and respectful to all members of the community. This community is a place for VintageBeef’s supporters to have fun.
  5. - If you need help, ask a member of staff. Do not send direct messages to VintageBeef on Discord unless you have exhausted all other options for resolving an issue.
  6. - Do not post adverts on Discord.
  7. - Do not spam chats or make excessive use of caps.
  8. - Do not post political content anywhere except in the #current-events Discord channel.
  9. - Do not post inappropriate or insensitive content, or use something inappropriate for your avatar or username.
  10. - Keep all public chats PG (family friendly) and please stick to English. Other languages are fine for private chats.
  11. - Keep chats in the right Discord channels. No conversations are allowed in #server-videos, #public-announcements, #community-videos, or #q-n-a. For #q-n-a, one response to an answer is okay.
  12. - Keep the servers looking pretty. If you make a mess, clean it up. Examples: Accidental creeper explosions, half-chopped trees.
  13. - Do not claim large amounts of land you aren’t going to use. Make sure to give your neighbours plenty of space.
  14. - Don’t do anything that is likely to cause excessive amounts of lag. This includes having too many entities in your base. You are also required to design redstone devices such that they are inactive or designed to minimise lag when not in use.
  15. - Don’t keep another player’s head without the permission of that player.
  16.
  17. Additionally in Season 4 of Vintagecraft:
  18. - Do not build a base in the Spawn Valley. This is at least the area 200 blocks in all directions from 0,0 but more generally the valley between the two mountain ranges either side of spawn. If you can see 0,0 from your planned base location, you are probably too close. If in doubt, please ask a staff member before you start building.
  19.
  20. - Immediately below spawn is a cave leading into the area reserved for shops. The shopping district starts at 67, 44, -65 and continues north into the shopping district with the edges of the shopping district marked with red wool. If your shop is south of this location, it is out of the shopping district jurisdiction and will be closed by a staff member who will reach out to you to move it. You may build a shop anywhere within this cave system, subject to the following restrictions:
  21. - 1. It needs to be built into the wall of the cave and must not block the open part of the cave.
  22. - 2. Keep the size of your shop no larger than 16x16x16 blocks.
  23. - 3. One shop per person in the shopping cave, if you build with others, all members partaking will have that shop counted as theirs for limitation purposes.
  24. - Feel free to reach out to a staff member if you would like input while choosing a location to be sure you don't have to move it. You can build as many shops as you like elsewhere on the server, but note that you will not receieve much traffic.
  25.
  26. - You may raid no more than two end cities in the vanilla server, ever. (Raiding includes taking any loot and/or killing any of the city's shulkers.) This limit applies whether or not you are raiding as a team. You may raid as many end cities as you like in the resource world.
  27.
  28. - 24 hours after the vanilla server end opens, you may not respawn the dragon again. You may respawn the dragon as often as you like in the resource world. This is to allow players to build in the end without having to worry about the dragon destroying their builds
  29.
  30. - Do not use chunk loaders in your technical builds. This restriction might be relaxed at some point, but for now, please don't.
  31.
  32. Breaking these rules for the first time will result in a temporary ban or a temporary muting
  33. - Do not follow around, spam, excessively gift Beef if he is playing on the server. Keep in mind, whatever you are doing may show up in a video, and its not particularly interesting for an audience if their favourite youtuber gets everything as a gift and has nothing to aim for.
  34. - Do not "prank" any members without their knowledge or consent.
  35. - Do not respawn the dragon using any methods that don’t require end crystals.
  36. - Do not bulk harvest resources in the main world, that’s what the resource world is for.
  37. - Do not use any schematic mod in printer mode. You may use them in building/outline mode. It is also okay to use Optifine and minimaps.
  38. - Do not attempt to bypass AFK protections. This includes autoclickers or macros.
  39. - Respect decisions made by members of staff. If you are unhappy with a decision, please contact another member of staff, rather than making it a public issue.
  40. - Respect other people’s opinions on appropriate chat topics. If someone says a conversation is making them uncomfortable, change the topic.
  41. - Do not tag guests from Hermitcraft or Mindcrack in Discord.
  42. - Do not do anything that makes us have to add an extra rule.
  43.
  44. Breaking these rules will result in either a permanent ban, or a ban of at least two weeks combined with an inventory/storage wipe. When considering a permanent ban, the person involved will be given an opportunity to respond to the proposed ban and the staff team will carefully assess that response to determine whether or not a permanent ban is the most appropriate approach
  45. - Do not grief.
  46. - Do not steal, raid someone else’s base or kill pets.
  47. - Do not use x-ray tools, or any form of duping (including methods that work in vanilla Minecraft).
  48. - Do not exploit (This includes any form of the clay, gravel, or lapis trick for finding diamonds).
  49. - Do not duplicate items (This includes any form of TNT duping).
  50. - Do not cheat. (This includes any sort of modification to your game that gives you an unfair advantage over other players). If you aren’t sure if something counts as cheating, ask a staff member.
  51. - Do not impersonate another player.
  52. - Disregard of multiple rules or repeated offences.
  53. - Any form of bullying or harassment.
  54.
